File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Curtiss C-46 Commando by Just Flight, in the colors of Curtiss C-46 N67970 of Slick Airways, 1954. It was originally C-46F-1-CU 4478764 and was bought by Slick Airways in 1949. After being sold in 1954, it flew with several civilian operators before ending with the Mexican Air Force in 1982 as TEC-6049. It was scrapped later. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by JustFlight

Curtiss P-40B (P8186) AVG #75

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Curtiss P-40B. It represents AVG Hawk 81-a2 P-8186 #75 flown by Bill Reed of the 3rd Squadron, Kunming, China, January 1942. He scored 3 aerial and 8 ground victories while flying with the AVG. He returned to the US Army Air Force, scored six more victories, but was killed trying to bail out of his aircraft in December 1944. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

In 2002 the airport of Kayes( GAKY) was replaced by a brand new one (Kayes-Dag Dag -GAKD).This the reason why there're two different airport from FS2002 to FS2004. Lasham (EGHL)

File Description:
Lasham (EGHL) Scenery for FS2002, Includes AFCAD file and static Aircraft. Created by Mathias Henig (http://www.spotter.de.vu). Lasham is an airfield which was built by the Royal Air Force to train its pilots there during WWII. After the RAF left the field Dan Air London choose Lasham as their place for the maintenance and so Lasham saw many interesting aircraft (Comet, BAC 1-11, ...). With the demise of Dan Air the maintenance facilities were sold to ATC which now does maintenance for the following types: Boeing 727-100/200 Boeing 737-200/300/400/500/600/700/800 Boeing 757-200 McDonnell Douglas DC 8-55/60 More information about ATC Lasham can be found under: http://www.atclasham.co.uk Not to forget the Lasham Glider Society which is also located at the field.

RAF Spanhoe - Northamptonshire, England

File Description:
RAF Spanhoe (also known as Harringworth or Wakerley) (ICAO X3SE) is a former World War II airfield in Northamptonshire, England. The airfield is located approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) east of Uppingham; about 80 miles (130 km) north-northwest of London

Opened in 1943, it was used by both the Royal Air Force and United States Army Air Forces. During the war it was used primarily as a transport airfield, it was closed in late 1945 after the WWII.

Today, much of the airfield has been returned to agriculture, however; the remains of some of the runways can be seen from the air and a part of the old peri track is used by various privately owned light aircraft which are housed at the old airfield. Source: Wikipedia

De Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter (LN-IKI) Transit Air

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Milviz DHC-3 Otter. It shows LN-IKI as it looked when flying with Transit Air of Norway in 1983. Built in 1954 with c/n 30, it was shipped to Norway in crates and was assembled at Kjeller Air Base Norway, before joining the Norwegian Air Force. It was struck off in 1967 and became LN-IKI with Varangfly A/S of Kirkenes. It was severely damaged in 1972, when it landed on water with the wheels down, but was repaired. In 1984, it went to the US as N4683K. After a few years in Canada as C-FWAF, it is now flying in Alaska as N63354, based in Juneau. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Milviz.
