ROC (Taiwan) Air Force F-104G Starfighter

File Description:
This is a repaint of the Lockheed F-104G Starfighter in the livery of 8th Fighter Squadron, 3rd Tactical Fighter Group, ROC (Taiwan) Air Force, circa 1960s. This aircraft scored the first air victory of the fleet while serving with ROCAF. Textures only. Requires payware Captain Sim Legendary F-104. Repainted by Mike Huang.

On Jan. 13, 1967, ROCAF sortied 4 F-104Gs from Ching Chuan Kang Airbase to support a RF-104G returning from photo recon mission over China. The formation engaged two Chinese MiG-19 fighters northeast of Quemoy Island. This aircraft, flown by Capt. Hu, Shin-Lin, made the first kill using a Sidewinder missile. The other MiG was shot down by Capt. Shih, Bei-Po flying aircraft 4348. One of the other Starfighters did not return to base after the engagement and was listed as MIA.

The aircraft bear the South East Asia and Euro1 colour schemes and I have attempted to replicate wear and tear. The AI Phantom F.4E model by Nick Black is used.

The division have some operative airbase distributed on italian country: Grosseto (LIRS), CERVIA (LIPC), GRAZZANISE (LIRM), GIOIA DEL COLLE (LIBV) TRAPANI-BIRGI (LICT), and Decimomannu (LIED). Here you can find six afcad2 files of these airbases.

File Description: Ed Hamill does not fly this actual type of aircraft. He flies an AFR Biplane. It looks similar to a Pitts, it could be but I don't know that much about it. All I know is that I like the paint scheme and think it looks great on the Addictive Simulation Pitts. You will have to buy this great aircraft before you can use my repaint.

Royal Air Force Dassault Mirage IVK/S

File Description: Royal Air Force Dassault Mirage IVK/S. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for Marcel Dassault's follow-on to the immensely successful Mirage III family. Built in 1959, this aircraft served for over 40 years in the roles of strategic nuclear deterrence and strategic reconnaisance. An original 7-LOD model pays homage to this aircraft in the flightsim world. This package is a speculative study, if you will, of the might-have-been progression of this aircraft. The RAF expressed interest in the Mirage IV in the 1960s, but re-engined with the Rolls-Royce Spey turbofan which powered their versions of the F-4 Phantom II. Additionally, exploration was made to use technology from the unsuccessful BAC TSR project for the RAF Mirage IV. This package represents two variants, the Mirage IVK, essentially the IVA with RR Spey engines; and the Mirage IVS, the more re-designed aircraft incorporating some of the BAC TSR technology. Ultimately, this proposed variant did not become reality. In addition to the RAF, Israel, India, and France expressed interest, so paints from all four countries are included. Loadouts are generous, covering heavy strategic bombing, electronic warfare, precision strike, and the original nuclear and recce configurations. In total, there are 32 models and 50 repaints in this package. Lastly, I am including layered Photoshop paint kits for all variants in this package. Original aircraft model, flight dynamics, some effects, and textures by Michael Pearson; tremendous amounts of help from Michael MacIntyre and Frank Safranek.
