| BAC One-Eleven 531 LACSA 1980 |

File Description:
LACSA (Lineas Aereas de Costa Rica) ordered One-Eleven 500s to supplement their earlier Srs.400 machines. Delivered in May 1973 as TI-1096C,this 531FS later re-reregistered TI-LRJ was repainted in the 1980 livery after being leased to Cayman Airways. It came to the UK in November 1981 and a new life with Dan Air as G-AJMV. It was broken up in late 1998 after withdrawal some years earlier as G-OBWJ of British World. Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby

| LANICA -TAN BAC One-Eleven 422 AN-BBI |

File Description:
One of four operated by LANICA, this was the only one that was purchased new. Delivered in April 1967 and partly owned by TAN-Honduras, it initially flew in this joint LANICA-TAN livery. Damaged by machine gun fire during a hijacking in December 1971, it returned to Hurn in January 1972 for the burnt out interior to be replaced after which it was re-delivered and later stored. It was sold for executive use in October 1972. Requires the BAC One-Eleven 400 model by David Maltby.

| TransBrasil Pink BAC One-Eleven 523 |

File Description:
Built for BMA it was later leased to Court Line until sale to TransBrasil. Taking up Brazilian markings in May 1974 this One-Eleven 523 was painted in a pink variation of TransBrasil livery. After returning to the UK in January 1978 it was leased to Cyprus Airways as G-AXLM, then to Arkia as 4X-BAS. It ended up with Philippine Air Lines as RP-C1194 and was broken up for spares at Manila by European Aviation in 1996 Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby.

| United Arab Airlines DH Comet 4C SU-ALC |

File Description:
Misrair was renamed United Arab Airlines in December 1960 due to a planned almagamation of Egypt and Syria. The renamed airline was to reflect the fact it was to be the national airline of both coutries. The collapse of the plans meant the countries retained their own airlines. The UAA name was kept until 1971 when it was re-named Egyptair. This aircraft lasted from delivery to Misrair in June 1960 until 02 January 1971 when it crashed near Tripoli.Requires the DH 106 Comet 4C model by David Maltby

| East African Airways Comet 4 (Dan Air Basic) 5Y-AMT |

File Description:
Dan Air leased a number of Comets to East African Airways as the African carriers own machines were found to be suffering from corrosion. This one was better known as G-APDD in the Dan Air fleet. It was in service with EAA for less than two months from Dec 28 1970 to Feb 21 1971 and made the last Comet flight for EAA. It then flew another eighteen months with Dan Air before it was scrapped in March 1973. Requires the DH 106 Comet 4 model by David Maltby

| TransBrasil Yellow BAC One-Eleven 520 |

File Description:
This aircraft was the first One-Eleven to be delivered to the renamed Trans Brasil. Painted in the new TransBrasil livery it had a revised version of the SADIA Sun logo. The original style SADIA logo was adopted for the subsequent aircraft and this aircraft was altered to match the rest of the fleet. It is depicted here in it's latter days with the airline after the revised logo was applied. This machine was lost in a heavy landing in January 1975 at Sao Paulo-Viracopos. Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby.

| MSA/Malaysian DH Comet 4 9V-BAU |

File Description:
9V-SAU is shown here in a strange mix of liveries. It is wearing the later MSA livery and has been re-registered in Singapore but has the former Malaysian titles. This aircraft started out as G-APDE with BOAC before sale to Malaysian in October 1965 as 9M-AOE. After serving with MSA as 9V-BAU it was sold to Dan Air as G-APDE and after lease as 5Y-ALF with East African Airways and further use by Dan Air, was withdrawn in April 1973 and broken up the same month. Requires the DH 106 Comet 4 model by David Maltby

| Malaysia-Singapore DH Comet 4 9V-BAS |

File Description:
Delivered to BOAC in May 1957 as G-APDA, this was the first Comet 4 to be built. In November 1965 it became 9M-AOA with Malasian Airways until that airline's almalgamation with Singapore Airways on 30 December 1966. With a modified Malaysian livery and with new MSA titles it was placed on the Singapore register as 9V-BAS. In Nov 1969 it was sold to Dan Air for spares and adopting G-APDA once more flew to Lasham for storage. It was scrapped in September 1972.Requires the DH 106 Comet 4 model by David Maltby

| LIAT BAC One-Eleven 518 |

File Description:
Leward Island Air Transport was formed in 1956 and a year later BWIA bought 75 per cent of the shares. Later LIAT was sold to the Court Line Group. The airline failed in 1974 but was reformed as LIAT(1974) Ltd. This One-Eleven was G-AXMK in the main Court fleet and had previously been leased to AVIATECA as TG-ARA. After retuning to the UK as G-AXMK it became, after Court Lines demise, G-BCWA with Dan Air until finally being grounded in November 1992. Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby
