On 13 December 1966 the Dutch charter company Martinair Holland (MAC), proud owner of a fleet of four Douglas C-47, a Douglas C-54B, two Convair 640, and four Douglas DC-7C aircraft, bought a Douglas DC-6A registered PH-MAM. The DC-6A, which at one time belonged to KLM and could transport 11 tons payload or 97 passengers, was aquired in order to replace the smaller C-54B PH-MAE. It was a very popular aircraft among crew and passengers alike. From the late October 1968 till the beginning of January 1970, PH-MAM flew on the Biafra airlift from the island of Fernando Po to Uli airstrip to provide humanitarian aid, on behalf of the Dutch Red Cross. Having returned from this mission, the aircraft was overhauled and used by Martinair for one more year, before being sold to Yugoslavia. These are textures only. You will need California Classic's FS2004/FSX Douglas DC-6B CB-16 Base Pack, DC-6A CB-17 Base Pack and DC-6A CB-16 Base Pack (available at http://www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer. Works in both FS2004 and FSX.

saved in 32bit format for quality graphics. Textures are also characterized by

File Description: The VLA or "Jansky Array", managed by the National Radio Astronomy
Observatory (NRAO) consists of 27 independent radio telescope dishes, each with
a diameter of 82 feet and weight of over 200 tons. Each antenna is found along
the three arms of a track shaped in a Y configuration measuring 13 miles long.
Using the rail tracks that follow each of these arms the antennas can be
physically relocated to a number of prepared positions. At one point, the arms
intersect with U.S. Route 60 which passes right through the middle of the array.
It has been featured in numerous films, such as Armageddon, Independence Day,
Terminator Salvation, a Bon Jovi music video, and was featured most prominently
-and correctly- in the Carl Sagan novel Contact, as well as the film of the same
name. Also updated is the closest airport to the VLA - Magdalena, NM - N29. It's
a small dirt strip a few miles to the east, between Socorro and the VLA. It
serves as a nice staging area for flights to the VLA. Includes a helipad startup

File Description:
The tool (a 50 kb Java application) provides a GUI where you just click and place bases, rivers, blocks, churchs, parks, runway, solarplants etc.
Then you click "produce" and the tool writes your My_Cool_Base.cfg file for your
OrbiterConfig folder.
In this way I build my home town, with parks and churchs,
and I take off from there, now ...
Note: this is an alpha version from the "features point of view", but it is almost a beta release from the "testing point of view".
In other words (I know Avsim requires at least beta's) the tool works well, simply it is not completed (some features are missing).
I made this tool just for fun. So, if you really think is worthy going on with it, or that it's a funny/useful tool, please let me know.
If I see that the tool is useful for the Orbiter community, I will complete it more quickly and I will post a real beta release in a couple of weeks.
REMARK: you need Java to run this tool!

If you have ever driven an automobile addon in the FSX scenery, you may have felt
that a few things were missing. If so, try this addon ..... It adds a whole new driving experience.
This version is for Hama's BMW 760li visual model (not included), and adds:
- Accurate max speed, acceleration and braking, according to real-word specs.
- A transmission gearbox: 6-gear Forward, Neutral and Reverse.
- Manual and Automatic gear switching, with kickdown function.
- Revup/down sound, depending on engine RPM (so dependant on speed and transmission gear).
- Accurate steering, at low and high speeds. This includes a non-lineair control of the steering wheel and control axis assignments; both configurable via an .ini file.
- ABS, TractionControl and CruiseControl.
- Several coded "tricks", like: Spinning wheels and "doughnuts" at high throttle in 1st Gear, Drifting/spinning at high speed when steering angle too large, A visual/audible TireSmoke effect if the above applies, Brake lights.
- New engine-RPM and speed gauges.
- A horn (claxon) sound.

Prepar3D Scenery--John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK), New York (NY), USA. This file updates Ray Smith's KJFK scenery previously uploaded for use with FSX. Ray has given me permission to adapted his scenery for Prepar3Dv2 and replaces file Prepar3d_rwc_kjfk.zip This airport update incorporates two optional files, one version with the Crosswind runways activated and in full operation where all 4 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default runway operation: assigned parking now updated as per their website including gates for the A380, Terminal 3 demolished, Delta has now moved much of its operations to T4 as well as using T2, the new terminal extension added to T4 concourse B and allocated only for Delta connection, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, the freeway traffic that crosses taxiways A and B now ends before these taxiways, Autogen around the water edges of the airport removed, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other improvements, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation. The 400 Series Trainer provides a completely functional simulator for the unit of your choice. In addition, you get the capability to simulate the plane’s location, speed, altitude, heading, and selected course input. -textured all small parts visible in VC for better FSX compat;
-Night textures now stay reflective at night;
-new gauge, needle mappings and parts so night lighting much improved;
-fixed the corruption in VC parts due to 4mm weld in makemdl;
-supercharger gauge added, updated airfile and aircraft.cfg;
-switching the Pilots hat off now switch's to leather flying cap;
-added a supercharger high blower setting light and a supercharger switch to VC, please note the switch is inop as the sueperchargers in normal operation was set to auto, supercharger will switch to highblower at 17700+ feet;
-added more polys to rudder and prop boss, tailwheel now turns, prop pitch on still blades has much more pitch when moved with pitch lever;
-sundry texture fixes and hole filling.
