This folder contains a repaint for P3Dv4.5 PBR version of the Douglas C-47 by Manfred Jahn and colleagues in the colors of C-47 #36 of the French Navy (Aeronavale). Originally c/n9798 42-23936 it flew with the USAAF in North Africa and later in the ETO. It took part in D-Day, Market Garden and Operation Varsity, dropping parachutists. After WW2 it went to Ceskoslovenske Aeroline as OK-WDU and between 1958 and 1983 with the French navy as #36. It later went to Stellair and Transvalair in France as F-GEOM, before going to the UK as G-OFON with Classic Airways and later Air Atlantique. After a stint with South Coast Airways, it went to the Aviodrome in the Netherlands in 2006, where unfortunately it was left outside without protection. When the Aviodrome went bankrupt it went to Classic Wings, who are currently restoring it for static display in the Museum in Overloon. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom for Manfred Jahn's C-47 for P3Dv4.5, with PBR, Rivet and bump detail by Ted (Tufun) Wolfgang."

| Iran Air (circa 1962) default Douglas DC3 |

File Description:
This is a repaint of the FS2004 default DC3 in the Iran Air early days livery. Iran Air came about in 1962, after Iranian Airways and Persian Air Services were joined together, taking the name of Iran National Airlines (internationally known as Iran Air). Iranian Airways had been the first Iranian flag carrier, when it was formed in 1944.
In a few years, with a fleet of 17 mostly DC-3 aircraft, Iran Air had both domestic and international routes covering many major Middle East cities.It soon built a large route map consisting of flights all over the Middle East, to Northern Africa, Europe and New York, and including a dense domestic flight schedule.
The first planes used by the company were the Avro York, DC-3, DC-6 and Vickers Viscount types.
Since I only had two very small B&W (or rather Brown and Yellow!) photos of IR DC3's, I've done my best to make the repaint look
as real as possible, hope that you'll like it.

Douglas DC-3D, (c/n 42969) Bought by Commercial Air Services on 6 September 1964 and registered as ZS-DXW. Operated schedules and charters until sold in November 1982 to Ethiopian Airlines and registered as ET-AIB. Douglas C47A-30-DL, (c/n 9628) USAF 42-23766. Used by USAF, SAAF, BEA, Autair, Arika, Continental, Air Links, Skyways, National Airways, Protea Airways and Swazi Air. Bought by Comair in February 1974 and registered as ZS-IWL. Sold to Ethiopian Airlines in November 1982 and registered as ET-AIA. Douglas DC-3D, (c/n 42963) USed by Det Danske Fultfartselskab, SAS, Dagens Nyheter, Linjeflyg and Austrian Airlines. Bought by Comair in September 1968 and registered as ZS-FRM. Used in scheduled and charter operations until February 1987. Sold to MIB Aviation in November 1988 and operated in Mozambique on behalf of the Red Cross. Destroyed at Wilson Airport, Kenya in January 1996.

Euro Link POSKY B767 Package (Final). This is an exceptional package (one of many) Project Opensky Boeing 767. Liveries: Euro Link VA OC & NC, DHL, Air Europa, Air Holland, Air Portugal (TAP), Alitalia, Britannia, British Airways 'Landor', British Airways 'Union', Condor, Icelandair, KLM, LOT, LTU, Qantas, Varig. All aircraft are equipped with professional sounds and a professional panel. He also integrated the up to date Server Info gauge into all aircraft for use with VATSIM. The usual push back gauge is also included along with the crew announcements. A new added feature to this package is V Speed readouts, which were not included in the last release. This is a repaint of the DC-9-32CF in Overseas National Airways - ONA 1972 colors. The freeware DC-9-30 by SGA is needed for this repaint. ONA operated 9 DC-9s over the years. This aircraft was purchased new in 1967 and after a handful of years in service, was sold to Air Canada in 1973. Textures are 32bit bmp. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. It should work on FSX, FS2004, & P3D v1-3.
