| WASP PT-17 Stearman (N59293) |

File Description:
This is a repaint only, for the payware Vertigo Studios Stearman Vol.1 set. This repaint depicts the restored Stearman PT-17 N59293, owned/operated by Andrew and Mike Porter, based at Spring Lake, New Jersey. The aircraft was manufactured as USAAF 41-25714 and was used continually from June 1942 until June 1945. During WWII the aircraft had multiple assignments, one of which included Avenger Field in Sweetwater, Texas, home of the WASP (Women's Airforce Service Pilots), where it was based from February 1943 until August 1944. Sold surplus after the war, the aircraft was used as a crop duster in New Mexico all the way until 1981. Starting in 2006, the aircraft was restored to factory-original award-winning condition, and painted in the same markings it wore while stationed at Avenger Field, flying as a tribute to all of the WASP pilots. (In one of the aircraft's other WWII training assignments, Donald Strait flew this aircraft during flight training and would go on to become a double-ace flying P-51's with the 361st Fighter Squadron).

File Description:
Ghana Airways was only 6 years from the end of a long history in 1998. A pair of DC-9-51s flew around West Africa, sometimes on 6-stop flights, while the 2 DC-10-30s(one of which was still in the old livery) flew to New York and the 3 routes remaining in Europe. Though based in ACC, ABJ seems to have had more flights and destinations from the DC-9s. One of the DC-9s was destroyed in a crash landing 2 years later and the airline never recovered, shutting down in 2004. A single Fokker 27-600 was operated by the Ghana Air Force as "Ghana Link", a regional subsidiary of Ghana Airways, in full Ghana military colors. I have included that aircraft with representative domestic flights as flights were not listed on the schedule. Links to repaints included. Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project. The North American B-45 Tornado was one of the most important American aircraft of the early Cold War period, and one of the least remembered today. It was the first bomber-sized jet bomber in service anywhere in the world, first jet to drop a live atomic bomb, first jet to cross the North Pacific non-stop (Alaska to Japan,) first jet to fly the North Atlantic (with stops), NATO forces’ first and for some time only nuclear deterrent, first reconnaissance plane to fly deep penetration missions over North Korea, the People’s Republic of China, and the Soviet Union, and first aircraft to routinely use in-flight refueling on combat missions. The package includes twenty models and three dozen authentic skins depicting every major variant and numerous minor and sub-variants as they appeared throughout the type’s service life. A detailed manual explains some of the type’s unique operational procedures. Mostly by David Wooster with some help and skins painted by Mick.

Repaint for the FSHELI.CH Aerospatiale helicopter for Microsoft FS2004. This package contains the additional textures for the SA315B Lama HB-XTM operated by BOHAG, Switzerland, for the FSHELI SA315B Lama V3.0 (required, payware, EUR 15.00, USD 19.50) The original package contains one animated model created in Abacus FSDS Pro 2, one set of reflective textures, 2D and 3D panel and custom made gauges and a custom sound system with realistic start-up and shut-down.The panel also uses some default gauges (not included). The equipment of the Lama is very accurate and gives a realistic feeling inside and outside the cabin. It contains also accurate flight dynamics (in the limitations of the FS2004), tested with real world pilots. Works also in FS2002.This helicopter feautures:Passenger flights;Sling cargo:net,cow rescue,pylon,concrete,cross bars,aggregate; Fire fighting with a bamby bucket, Winch operations. A repaint of the Project Open Sky Boeing 747-400D GE model into the colors of one of All Nippon Airways' first Pokemon Jet design unveiled in 1998. Hand-painted in Photoshop. Aircraft is registered JA8965 however no longer wearing it. ANA used this for international flights. May work with FS2004 however there are no guarantees. Requires POSKY's base 747-400D package (links to the package can be found at the readme file). Note that this is different from the International version; this one has the writings "Pocket Monsters" in the middle with the tail having their own design, not the airline logo and this one has no winglets, unlike the standard -400. This is a very close approximation of a real world Embraer Phenom 300. The home base of N900HT is not known for sure, but is occasionally seen coming and going from Big Bear City airport in Southern California. Daytona Beach, FL is also frequented by this one. Big Bear City is one of those high altitude airports in the mountains West of twentynine Palms and East of LAX and North of Palm Springs. N900HT was delivered in September, 2011 and was featured in a sales video by one of the active private jet dealers in sunny Southern California. You will need to own a copy of the Carenado EMB-505 Phenom 300 for FSX, P3D or FSX:Steam to use this repaint. Enjoy.

File Description:
Constant additions of scenery for FS2002 have resulted in the neccessity of two separate catalogs (Microsoft Word format), one covering the US northwestern states and one for Canada; rather than my old editions that covered both. This one for the Canadian western provinces has over 60 files of scenery for British Columbia, Northwest Territories and the Yukon Territories. Updated links. Plenty of screenshots. Unless the sim community is overwhelmed with new scenery developments for this area over the next few weeks, this should do it for awhile. Although I have been meticulous in searching these files out, there is bound to be a few I missed. If you are or become aware of them, I would appreciate your bringing them to my attention.

Repaint of the B1900D Raytheon/Beechcraft ZK-EAG as operated real-world by Eagle Airways (a subsidiary of Air New Zealand) for the PMDG payware model in FS2004 or FSX. ZK-EAG is the latest aircraft in the airline fleet to get an all-black makeover and the first of three B1900Ds to be painted in this way. In 2011 the airline painted one of its domestic A320s in the same style and has since painted a new 777-300 aircraft likewise. There are currently seventeen B19Ds in the Air New Zealand fleet which are used on domestic routes up and down the country. Two Texture-sets are included, one with a gloss-alpha layer, and one without.
