This is a repaint of the DC-4 in Pacific Western Airlines colors. The payware DC-4 by Flight Replicas is needed for this repaint. This was one of four DC-4s operated by Pacific Western. It flew with them from 1957 to 1972. This repaint was tested on P3D v3. It should work on FSX & FSX-SE.

Jet Airways (JAI/9W) retro flight plans (Jan-Mar1997). Jet Airways was founded in 1992 and began operations in 1993. By '97 they operated four 737-300, seven 737-400 and a single 737-500. Today it is one of the biggest airlines in the Eastern Hemisphere.
Flights are 100% real, compiled from a timetable effective January-March 1997.

These files are for AFG`s YS-11 v2.7 ONLY,you must have the AFG YS-11jac.zip for the V2.7 in fs9.in order for these files to work.
These files contain the new model files for the barbers pole first flight aircraft,they also contain two texture files for two prototype 1 schemes
one is of the first flight and the other is a later variant of the same aircraft.
I hope you enjoy these additions to your YS-11 fleet,it is the first one i have done with fuselage metal textures,Esa sent me a metal texture file by Rui Christina,for use with the YS-11,but i did not use it,but it did let me discover where i was going wrong on metal finishes.

File Description:
Hi again Flight Simmers. This adventure takes place in the Interior of British Columbia Canada, which is a very rugged and mountainous area. In fact, one of the toughest areas of the World, for any kind of planes to fly regular routes. I flew this route with 2 different airplanes. One with the Dornier and one with the old DC3 Dakota. With the more modern airplane, you can fly in and out of the route in IFR conditions with no problems. But with an aircraft that has a maximum of 500 to 900 Feet per minute rate of climb, you have to fly in VFR condition out of Castlegar to find an area that will allow you to climb to IMC(Instrument Meteorological Conditions) from VMC (Visual Meteorological Conditions). The DC3 I flew is by Bill Rambow, Roy Chaffin and Jan Visser. This, folks, is simply the BEST airplane that I have ever seen for MS Flight Sim, since 1982! This airplane and all the necessary scenery for this article can be found at http://wings.ark.com in the Full Throttle directory and probably at the Flight Simulator World web site. A list of all the necessary or nice to have files are listed on these pages.
