AVSIM 2006 Convention B787 Aircraft

File Description:
This aircraft and texture set is for fun flying. It sports a very unique AVSIM Convention 2006 livery as the specific mascot for the AVSIM Convention in Washington DC in September 2006. Visually a pleasure to fly and has a rather interesting Night Texture effect which should add to your flying pleasure. Be sure to also get the A380 Generic AVSIM Convention aircraft that is available in the AVSIM library. I recommend that you take the opportunity to go to the AVSIM Washington DC Convention as there will be lots of interesting Flight Sim paraphernalia and information available there. FSX Aircraft - Beechcraft Starship Update

File Description:
FSX Aircraft-The Beechcraft Starship version 5.1. Beech was looking for a new generation of corporate transports. They looked to Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites Inc. to design and produce the SCAT1, an 85% scale technology demonstrator of a conard-configured aircraft. Successing in testing led to the Model 2000 Starship 1. The first of 3 flying pre-production Starship 1s flew on Feburary 15, 1986. After flying and statice tests, the first production machine flew on April 25, 1989. Created with FSDS 2.10. This model features reflective textures. This FS9 model has been modified to work in FSX. FSX - Aircraft Beechcraft Beechjet Update

File Description:
FSX Aircraft-The Beechcraft Beechjet 400A version 2. The Beech Aircraft Corporation acquired the Diamond II executive jet from Mitsubishi in December 1985. It was then marketed as the Model 400 Beechjet. The first Beech assembled aircraft rolled out on May 19, 1886. It wasn't until 1989 that the Model 400A was introduced featuring increases in payload and ceiling. This version is visually a model of the 400A Beechjet, my first version was visually that of the Model 400. There are two added features in this version. That's reflective textures and visual thrust reversers. It's a great plane to fly. Model, originally for FS9 has been updated to work in FSX. By John B. Loney, Jr.

Puzzle - French "Antoinette" pioneering aircraft.

File Description:
One of the pioneering aircraft, a French Antoinette. This is a model as colour photographs of the real thing are very scarce. A puzzle of this aircraft type was requested by Matthew Paine. 204-pieces. No installation is required - the puzzle runs straight from the file. ReadMe with the simple instructions is included.

FS2004 Simulated Aircraft Bubble Sextant

File Description:
As travel by air developed and matured, navigation over long distances also developed and improved. In the early days, however, air navigation essentially used ship navigation techniques adapted for aircraft. Without "landmarks", the navigators used Ded Reckoning (DR) and the stars. Celestial or Astronomical Navigation provides a means of obtaining Lines of Position (LOPs) from the stars. Crossing LOPs will fix a position. It requires a chart, and a planned course on that chart, with waypoints specified by Latitude and Longitude, an assumed time of arrival at each waypoint, and stars (including the Sun, Moon, or planets) in view. In the 1940s, extensive tables of star positions were made available to air navigators to be used with sextants to obtain these LOPs. In the tables, all times involved are GMT. This data is available from the Internet in "ready to use" form. This gauge simulates the sextant, and the process by which one obtains a LOP, or crossing LOPs to obtain a position, or fix. Can be used with any FS2004 aircraft. Includes comprehensive browser-based manual and references.

Two files that will add catapult and landing zones to all 18 carriers included in car2004a.zip, by Rich Hogen (packaged for FS2004 by Alejandro Villa) and the default carrier in San Francisco. You must have rcbco-20.zip Carrier Operation Package V2.0 by Rob Barendregt and Doug Dawson with special input from Nick Needham installed to use these files.
