File Description:
NC86520, c/n 2503, leased to Pan American World Airways on June 6, 1947 and named "Clipper America". Inaugurated Pan American L-749 services in 1947. Returned to Lockheed in 1947 and delivered to Guest Aerovias SA Mexico on January 6, 1948 with registration XA-GOQ. In November 1948 returned to Lockheed and reregistered NC86520. On January 15, 1949 sold to Air France and registered F-BAZR. In October 1960 withdrawn from use and stored at Paris-Orly (France). Bought by CGTM (Compagnie Generale des Turbo-Machines) for use as flying
engine test bed from April 1963 to February 1966 registered F-ZVMV. From February 1966 to December 1974 operated by CEV (Centre d'Essais en Vol). On July 16, 1975 donated to the French Musee de L'Air. Preserved at Paris-Le Bourget (France). Engine test bed equipment removed May/June 2002, still in storage in Air France colors. Textures only. The FS2004/FSX Lockheed L-749 Constellation Base Kit (lockheed749.zip) must be installed.

Reflective textures, extensive markings, and high detail are used in this repaint. This archive includes all source files. Models for the winglet and non-winglet versions are contained. American Airlines uses both the winglet and non-winglet versions. N974AN is currently in American's fleet today. Model by Project Open Sky, repaint by Jim Martin.

Texture update to my previous American Airlines repaint. I've changed the metal finish, windows, shadows, dirt, vc textures, and other small details. I've also added winglet textures for use with the new winglet model. Textures only, requires the POSKY 757 RR engine base model, or (os752_posky_house_livery_winglet.zip) for winglets.

File Description:
Pacific Southwest Airlines was a pioneer developing affordable air service in California and throughout the west coast. Based in San Diego, it was known for its bright colors, humorous staff, and the signature smile painted on the nose. The airline was eventually purchased by US Air in 1988.
To honor the airline's heritage, US Airways dedicated an A319 N742PS featuring the PSA livery in 2006, and it was retitled to American in 2014. This is one of several retro jets representing past airlines that form today's American Airlines. Textures only for the great Project Airbus model; the base pack is available here on AVSIM: pa319_basepack_fs9_2014-09-08.zip. Enjoy!

File Description:
Repaint of the Project Opensky 747SP PBR Model in American Airlines colors. These are 32bit textures and for the PBR model for P3Dv4.5. Should work in P3Dv5 although I have not tested it. They will not display properly in FS2004, FSX or P3Dv1-3 as there is no alpha channel. The PBR model gives off enough reflection for realism. Many THANKS to Carl Lyndon Nepomuceno and his team for the PBR conversion of this model and THANKS Hiroshi Igami for allowing this project to happen!!! These are textures only. You must have the 747-SP PBR model in order to use these textures. Follow the README file for installation.
