File Description:
N979AS (cn 53471/2139), version 1. Alaska Airlines McDonnell Douglas MD-83 for the Super 80 CLASSIC version only!! Sadly, Alaska Airlines phased out their Maddog's and today (the 24th of August 2008), their last 4 MD's operate the last revenue flight for the company. This particular plane has a screwdriver tail so this livery was originally created for the recently released Super80 PRO package. With some minor adjustments we were able to convert it for usage with the CLASSIC version as well. Custom specular and normal mapping and as always : worn, torn, weathered and (a little) dirty. Screenshots are unedited. Installation is easy ; just use the repaintmanager. Coolsky / Flight1 Super 80 Classic package required. Instead of the normal Alaska livery, N548AS features a special blue inverted scheme with alaskaair.com titles. This aircraft is painted with the logo of the airlines's website, which was the first in North America to sell tickets online. Model developed by Tenkuu Developers Studio, features high resolution textures, dynamic flexing wings, nose gear steering, rudder lock, ground spoilers, low speed aileron locks at high speed, fully animated control surfaces, fully independent suspension, trim animation, opening passenger doors, rolling wheels, animated thrust reversers with reverser block doors, detailed textures, full night lighting, ground service vehicles and more. Model design by Hiroshi Igami. Flight dynamics design by Nick Wilkinson, with assistance from David Biggar. Master textures and paint kit by Kyle Schurb. Painted on the great TDS model. Enjoy!

File Description:
The airport is referred to by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) using the airport code KNK. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) uses the abbreviation 9K2.
Changes: Increased size of parking apron. Changed runway from 2,900 ft long and 60 feet wide to 3,300 ft. long and 75 feet wide. Also added additional parking and custom models.Changes were based on 2005 construction plans.
Created with Airport Design Editor 9x by ScruffyDuck Software using current FAA documentation and Google Earth measurements, this package offers a replacement for FSX's stock airport. All these enhancements are as close to the real airport as I can get with stock library objects and custom buildings.

King Cove Airport (IATA: KVC, ICAO: PAVC, FAA LID: KVC) is a state-owned public-use airport located four miles (6 km) northeast of the central business district of King Cove, a city in the Aleutians East Borough of the U.S. state of Alaska.
King Cove Airport has one runway (7/25) with a gravel surface measuring 3,500 x 75 ft. (1,067 x 23 m). For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2005, the airport had 1,030 aircraft operations: 71% air taxi and 29% general aviation.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft PBY Catalina for FSX, representing OA-10a 44-3898, of the Alaska Division of the Air Transport Command. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Aerosoft. Though the original aircraft carried a radome above the cockpit, it was not equipped with the large exhausts of the updated Aerosoft model. I've included textures for the large exhausts, but also the earlier model with the small exhausts and the appropriate textures.
