IBM PC VERSION ONLY. This file contains DLL's that are not Mac. compatible.
A total of over 1500 aircraft were built. With double slotted full span flaps (drooping ailerons) and 1000lbs payload, its STOL capability, along with having a float version with retracts, made it an ideal "Bushplane" with unparalelled performance from any contempory aircraft. Many Beavers are still in use today.
The model was built using Truespace 4.3 and Chris Wallace's 3ds to S3d converter. Photorealistic interior views are used with auto switching day-time/night-time main panel.
The model requires that you have the Tri default aircraft installed.
A few non-standard features have been included to improve the ease of operation.
1. nose wheel steering (the original uses differential braking and castoring nose gears)
2. an electric pump for hydraulics (optional on the original )
3. a simple GPS that can be slaved to the auto pilot. (unheard of during the production life of the original but very likely to be found on any survivng present day aircraft.
4. a transponder has been added to enable IFR flights

Turkish Air Force Lockheed F-104 Starfighter; aka the Zipper, Coffin Nail, Flying Coffin, or Missile with a Man in It (in untrained hands it resembles a lawn dart). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this hotrod of military jet history. Going into production in 1955, this aircraft was manufactured, directly or by license, by 6 countries, and served the air forces of 17 countries. Late examples served until 2004, nearly fifty years after its introduction. An original 7-LOD model brings this historic aircraft to the flightsim world. This package represents the F-104 and CF-104 in the service of the Turk Hava Kuvvetleri; with a total of 25 models and 70 repaints; covering the hodge-podge collection of Canadair, Aeritalia, Fokker, and Lockheed airframes the Turks collected over their use of this aircraft. I am also including some optional variants with manual install instructions, on a separate document in the zip file. File Description:
The Lockheed C130 J Hercules is the newest version of the trusty military transport aircraft. With its six-blade propellers and more powerful engines, it can fly higher, faster and further than any previous Hercules. This is my second version of this aircraft (with more than 11 000 downloads of the first one) with an all-new FSDS model. It features animation of all control surfaces, landing gear and propellers; full lighting effects; opening front door and rear cargo ramp as well as a pilot getting into- and out of the aircraft as it takes off and a flight attendant opening and closing the front door. The panel is a photo-realistic rendition, designed from photographs downloaded from the Lockheed-Martin website. It includes a Heads Up Display ("HUD"), WORKING radar unit and Multi Function Display ("MFD") for the engine-instruments ("EICAS"). A sound pack is also included. An experienced Hercules pilot checked the flight dynamics to ensure that flying this aircraft is AS REAL AS IT GETS!

JetBlue Airways, the official airline sponsor of the Boston Red Sox, unveiled this A320-232 bearing the Boston Red Sox logos and became the first commercial aircraft to officially wear a Major League Baseball uniform/logo. Here's a description taken from JetBlue's press release regarding the details included on this aircraft; "this special A320 trades its signature JetBlue branding for a gray paint scheme inspired by the classic Red Sox road uniforms complete with blue wing fences with the Red Sox 'B'and a gray tail featuring the team's iconic dangling red socks. The aircraft also includes a banner (below the pilot's windows) commemorating Fenway Park's 100th anniversary alongside the JetBlue and Red Sox logos." I hope all you MLB fans and Boston Red Sox fans enjoy flying this wonderful aircraft as much as I did creating it. Repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete install package. The Project Airbus A320 V2.1 model and air files are included. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. Please see Readme.txt for more details.

This package represents the Lockheed F-104G in the service of the Ejercito Del Aire; with a total of 11 models and 21 repaints. A distinction of sorts, the EdA operated these aircraft for seven years without a single airframe loss, the only country user to do so. I am also including some optional variants with separate manual install instructions. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre.

Re-upload. Dornier Do27 (Germany)
Four to six seat STOL utility light aircraft manufactured in the mid 1950's to 1960 and initially designed for military purposes. A total of 577 Dornier Do27 were produced in their various manifestations.
It has a wide and relatively roomy cabin, wide track undercarriage and excellent STOL performance. The STOL performance in particular suited the Do 27 for use in undeveloped countries, and several have seen service in Africa and Papua New Guinea.
This has been modelled with Gmax v1.2 and has animated ailerons, flaps, elevators and rudder. It has 4 LOD models and a single texture file and is extremely frame rate friendly.
It is designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population and to use with the marvellous GA-Traffic program by Markus Brunner . It is also quite fun to fly as a normal aircraft but you will need to install a suitable panel for this.
Three textures and a paintkit are included.

Douglas DC-7 for AI Traffic. The DC-7 propliner was designed for long-range commercial transport, being one of the first aircraft to utilize the polar routes from Europe to North America. Although the DC-7 was a very advanced aircraft for its time of production, it was produced at the cusp of the commercial jetliner age and was quickly eclipsed by a new generation of air travel. Subsequently the DC-7 was not as commercially successful as its predecessors, and only a handful remain in the cargo and aerial firefighting roles. In conjunction with Jake Burrus, I present an 8-LOD AI traffic model to bring this classic transport aircraft to the flightsim world. This package includes 14 models, 40 repaints, and a Photoshop paint kit. The paints in this package focus on DC-7 use from the 1970s to present day, with a few vintage paints thrown in. Aircraft model and master textures by Jake Burrus and Michael Pearson, flight dynamics and repaints by Michael Pearson.

Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-27 Flogger. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-27, with just under 1,100 built, was a follow-on production variant of the MiG-23BN ground-attack version. The Flogger-D (and later -J), nicknamed the "Crocodile" for its flattened nose, was and still is a dedicated close air support and short-range strike/interdiction aircraft, comparable to the SEPECAT Jaguar. The MIG-27 has served in multiple conflicts in Europe and Asia. The MiG-27 entered service in 1975, was eventually operated by 4 countries, and is still in service in 3 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-27 Flogger-D and MiG-27M Flogger-J in an all-classic AI package; with 16 models and 72 repaints; current aircraft will be addressed in future releases. Republic F-105 Thunderchief (Part 2). This is another Jake Burrus aircraft I have been able to bring to the flightsim world. Originally introduced in 1958 as a low-level nuclear weapons delivery aircraft in the middle of the Cold War, this aircraft became the backbone of conventional bombing during most of the Vietnam War. As a testament to the aircraft's role, the bravery of its pilots, and the ferocity of the North Vietnamese air defense network, nearly half of the 833 airframes were lost in combat operations. Due to the extensive combat use of the Thud, it had a relatively short service life, with limited use after Vietnam, until the aircraft's final retirement in 1984.
This is part 2 of 2 parts, and represents the use of the F-105D/F/G from 1966-1984; to include 35 model variants and 130 repaints. Tupolev Tu-22 Belaja (NATO-code 'Blinder') for AI Traffic. This is an excellent addition to your retro military AI world, a classic Cold War medium bomber. A very mean, sleek design, but not always kind to its crews, with over 70 of roughly 350 production aircraft lost in accidents. This aircraft saw extensive combat in the 70s and 80s, in North Africa, the Middle East, and Southwest Asia. The Blinder also found work as a high-speed recce and electronic warfare platform. This is a complete aircraft package, with with two LOD6 model options and four serials (two -PD and two -RD) from the 341st TbAP (Heavy Bomber Regiment), home-based at Machluschi AB, Minsk; the regiment saw combat service in Afghanistan in the 1980s. This initial release only uses the RD model, but subsequent repaints will use both -R and -RD models. A multi-layer PSP paint kit is also included. Aircraft model by Sergey Bunevich, flight dynamics by Sergey Ivanov, Anglo-Russian diplomacy and Cyrillic spelling lessons by Rysiek Winauer, master textures, repaints, and paint kit by Michael Pearson.
