JAL Group Pack #16

File Description:
The JALGroup consists of Japan Airlines, JALWays, Japan Asia Airways, Japan Transocean Air, JAL Express, J-Air, Japan Air Commuter, Harlequin Air, and the newly merged Japan Air System. This pack is a part of the sixth release of the JALGroup fleet. This is Pack #16. This release contains the McDonnell Douglas MD-80-series aircraft of Japan Air System and 19 re-registered Japan Airlines MD-81/87/90 air frames. Contents of the packs include textures (one night texture per aircraft type/developer) only. Aircraft models are by PAI and can be obtained on the PAI site. This release completes the uploads for JAL Group.

Piper Comanche PA-24 (N6661P)

File Description:
This is a tribute to my dad's Comanche, bought brand-new in 1960. Over the next 40 years, he flew it all over the U.S., to Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and South America. He had to quit flying a few years before his death in 1999, and sold his share to his partner, who later handed the plane to his son. The plane performed yeoman service until October 2012, when the son experienced structural icing and ended up crash-landing the plane in a field. The pilot was fine; the plane was a total loss.

Textures only for the A2A Piper Comanche.

PNW Landclass Remake A

File Description:
These files are a replacement for all my previous versions of PNW landclass files, which covered the western 2/3's of Oregon, Washington and southern BC, Canada. I'm also including some northern California files I'm working on so these files cover a continuous area from Monterey, Ca to north of Vancouver, BC. I had two primary criteria when creating these files: 1) Get the cites/towns looking as correct as possible and 2) depict the visual "feel" of the real countryside. For minimum load up time and memory usage I have keep the texture type count under 20 for each section. I hope you enjoy them.

CYVR Fictional

File Description:
Vancouver BC CYVR fictional AFCAD. It adds gates and cargo parking to default scenery. The gate numbers are as in real life, however, the layout is fictional as the terminal building is small compared to real one. I have assigned some airlines to gates, but beware that not all airlines may be included. I have tested this AFCAD with project ai and it works very well. I made sure that all minor bugs have been deleted. I would really appreciate your feedback as I am planning on creating other AFCADs soon mainly for Canada! Bob Quinn Lake (CBW4)

File Description:
Bob Quinn Lake, British Columbia - CBW4 (FSX). This is a fictitious RCMP Ranger Station and campground rendition of an actual airport in British Columbia, Canada. (CBW4) I took a boring airport and added some "eye-candy" in order to have something nice to look at in addition to the spectacular mountains. I created this for my own use but thought I would share it. This is the Third scenery creation of my British Columbia series. This is freeware. I hope you enjoy it. Designed with the FS X Sdk Scenery function of the Mission builder and the Abacus Scenery shortcut tool. This scenery is frame rate freindly.

Cessna 185 Float for - Tofino Air - Textures Only

File Description:
. This is a Texture only based on the payware version by Abacus. You Must have the Abacus C-185 pay ware version of the plane for this texture to work. If you are one of the many people wanting to fly the Cessna C185 in the Bush I think this is the best choice at this time. Then cost is really reasonable for a payware plane. Eagle (Bermuda) Viscount 805 VR-BAX

File Description:
Started as V.806 G-AOYI for BEA this aircraft was instead built as a series V.805 for Eagle Airways. A later frame took up the BEA marks and this one was completed as G-APDW. After being transfered to the Bermuda subsidury as VR-BAX it was sold in June 1959 to Martitme Cenral Airways of Canada as CF-MCJ. In April 1962 it joined the other ex Eagle Aircraft with Aer Lingus as EI-AMA and was converted to V.808 standard. Withdrawn in January 1971 it was broken up in May 1972.Requires the FSDS Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper.

Hope Airfield - CYHE (FSX)

File Description:
Nestled in deep wilderness at the base of the Cascade Mountains, Hope sits on a wide sweeping curve of the Fraser River. Fly north of Hope and follow the Fraser River through the Fraser Canyon. Fly west through the pass to Harrison Hot Springs. This scenery was compiled from satellite images and photographs of the area. Acreages north of the field have been re-done. The lumber operation to the northeast is all new. All scenery objects are sourced from FSX Deluxe. Incidentally, Hope is the longest grass airstrip in Canada. You have a lot of room for a soft landing. VANCOUVER PLUS is required for this scenery to work.
