This is a repaint of the C-46 in Fred Olsen Lines 1970 colors. The freeware C-46 by Libardo Guzman and Tom Gibson is needed for this repaint. The famous Norwegian shipping magnate; Fred Olsen, formed his new airline "Fred Olsen’s Flyselskap" in June 1946. It was a nonscheduled carrier, which offered aircraft leasing, passenger and cargo charters, calibration flights, and contract service flights. They started with DC-3s and in 1958 five C-46s joined the fleet. Also, many of the company’s services were undertaken under contract to SAS, the national carrier of the Scandinavian countries. Fred Olsen Lines was focused mainly on cargo flights, and in 1965 their fleet had three C-46s and one DC-6A/B. Two more DC-6s were added to the fleet during 1966-67, followed by a Convair CV-340 in 1968. In 1969 Fred Olsen Lines' emphasis was to offer executive passenger charter services with their new Falcon executive jets. However, this special service did not work for the company, and in 1972 Olsen sold the two Falcons to the Royal Norwegian Air Force. So, the focus was back to Cargo, and in 1974 The first of many L-188Cs joined the fleet. The 1970s and 1980s were quite good for the ailrine and by 1986 the emphasis was shifted entirely to cargo charters. In 1997 Fred Olsen's airline ceased operations.The reasons offered were the loss of maintenance contracts, and difficulties in making a profit in the Central European freight market. This repaint is of C-46 LN-FOR, one of three C-46s operated by Fred Olsen. This repaint was tested on FSX-SE. Textures are 32bit bmp. It should work on FSX, P3D v1-3, & FS2004.

This is a livery-paint for the Leading Edge Simulations Douglas DC3/C47.

This paint depicts (more or less,within the limitations of the model) the DC3 F-AZTE ,flown by
Air France/KLM.
This plane flew under the french registration F-AZTE ( very small font under the H-stab ) .
On the right side of the plane there is a retro Air France livery with the registration F-BBBEwhile on the left side of the plane we see a retro KLM livery registrated PH-PBA.
This plane really existed in this livery and was used for for promotional purposes
The skin-set includes cockpit and cabin textures as well.
Livery dedicated panel and cockpit colors.
Cabin seats and color more or less depicting the original one.
Passenger-cabin-ceiling without airco-units , just the original old Dakota-ceiling.
Night-time navigation trough the dome enabled.
How to install:
Just unzip F-AZTE.zip into a temp. folder , and start reading the readme file.

File Description:
Here is a simple flight plan to be used with AI Malcontent's brand new DC-10-10 fire fighter based at Victorville (KVCV).
I used RPP FP Gen v1.0 and the flight plan covers different airports in California (most of the destinations are generic, as this aircraft is shown in just a few airports on the photos available on Airliners.net).
I'm not able to read flight plans, but there are lots of legs and I think the stopovers during the week are very short.
So keep in mind that this is just something to see the aircraft in the sim and not aiming at extreme realism, to be used until someone makes something more decent.
A user kindly wrote me and suggested to remove flights to KACV, whose runway is too short. Instead of modifying the flight plan I preferred to redo it completely. Check the readme file for more info.
This file replaces the old version (10_tanker_air_carrier_dc-10_ai_flightplans.zip), which is not available anymore. If you down loaded it, please recompile the .txt files included in this zip.

F-4S 157293 (DC 11) of VMFA-122 "Crusaders" stationed at MCAS Beaufort in 1985. This aircraft is credited with shooting down a Mig-21 on June 21, 1972 while operating as an F-4J assigned to VF-31 aboard the USS Saratoga (note the star on the port splitter plate). Pilot was CDR Sam Flynn and RIO (Radar Intercept Officer) was LT. Bill John. Probably not exact, just the work of a Phormer Phantom Phixer from VMFA-321 and VMFP-3 having some Phun. Thanks to John Detrick for allowing me to use his base textures and also Gus Robatto for allowing me to use his Tex2 texture. © ALPHA Simulations 2004\n\n

Add-on textures for for the FFX/SGA DC10 Series-10. United Airlines New Colors with sticker "Fantasy Flight V". You Must have the FFX/SGA Series-10 base pack installed to work properly. Simply unzip directly into your aircraft folder and edit your aircraft's config file as required. Special thanks to Mike Baummann and Takehiro Nakurama for these new wing textures. | Val-U-Prop DC-3 CargoLiner First Flight: Pitchforks to Paducah |

File Description:
Apparently mistaking pitchforks for pick-AXES, the denizens of Paducah, KY, destroyed many a pitchfork while attempting to crush rocks with them. In an extraordinary gesture of humanitarian aid, the Leader of The Great Hoosier Nation commissioned Val-U-Prop to re-supply the Kentuckians with 1,200 pitchforks so they could resume baling hay and slopping manure. Val-U-Prop used this opportunity to inaugaurate its all-4th class cargoliner service to Paducah, where our DC-3 was met by a frenzied mob, eager to get those pitchforks and use them on one another. An ATC controlled VOR to VOR, IFR flight, can be used in fs98 and fs2000 without the ATC. by James Underwood.
