Braathens SAFE Douglas C-54A

File Description:
In 1946 and 1947 the newly established Norwegian airline Braathens South American & Far East Airtransport A.S. purchased for its medium- and long haul operations on charter basis four ex-USAAF Douglas C-54A Skymasters. Three of them had been converted to DC-4 standard by Texas Maintenance Company (Temco) at Fort Worth, Texas, and featured on the starboard side an enlarged emergency exit. The fourth C-54A was purchased from KLM. Around 1950 the Norwegian authorities concluded that Braathens' operations got increasingly a structural character, read: scheduled, operations and as such became a threat for Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) which was a conglomerate of "state" airlines of Denmark, Norway and Sweden. SAS received all concessions for the international scheduled routes, which meant the end of the use of the Temco converted C-54A's. These are textures only. You will need Jens B. Kristensen's FS2004 Douglas DC-4 & C-54 (DC4_V30.ZIP). Repaint by Maarten Brouwer.

USAF C-35 (Boeing 727-35)

File Description:
FS2004/FS2002 USAF C-35 (Boeing 727-35) Repaint of the USAF Washington, DC Air National Guard, 121st Fighter Squadron, 113th Tactical Fighter Wing, Andrews AFB, Camp Spring, Maryland. The 121st is attached to the 201st Tactical Airlift Wing. Their primary mission at present, is to protect the Washington, DC area air space. Two "alert" pilots are on 24 hr. duty, only a few feet from thier fully loaded F-16C Fighting Falcons, to respond to intruders vilolating the restricted air spaces over the metro area. Their other duties include transportation of troops and government VIP's, which is what this plane is used for here. The wing is also responsible for transportaion of the President of the United States aboard Air Force One, which is hangered at Andrews. - Maj. Gen. David Wherley Commanding. (If you look on the tail of the aircraft near the upper stabilizer, you will see 4 stars arranged in a 1-2-1 configuration. This marks the aircraft as belonging to the 121st.)

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade - The trans-Atlantic flight from New York to Venice.

File Description:
This flight is based on the trans-Atlantic journey depicted in the movie, "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". So of course, it is completely fictional. In 1938, the year in which the movie is set, there was no trans-Atlantic passenger service. Trans-Atlantic passenger services did not arrive until mid-1939 and the schedules were disrupted and dropped after war broke out in September of that year. So for Indiana Jones to fly from St. John's to Lajes in 1938, poetic license was used by Mr. Spielberg! Therefore, I have added to that fiction by bringing forward the development and introduction into PAA service of the Douglas DC-4 passenger aircraft. In this Flight Simulator journey, you will fly the DC-4 between La Guardia and Lisbon, where the PAA service terminated. The remainder of the trip, from Lisbon to Venice, will be undertaken by Imperial Airways, using one of their new De Havilland DH-91'Albatross' four-engined passenger aeroplanes.

Flying Tiger Line - Flight #152 - Los Angeles to New York, May 1955

File Description:
Three separate IFR flight-plans covering the scheduled Flying Tiger Lines service #152 from Los Angeles to New York as at 1st. May 1955. The aircraft used on "Daybreaker" Flight #152 was the Douglas DC-6A. This particular flight commences in Los Angeles at 23:00 Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), arrives in Chicago at 07:15 Central Daylight Time (CDT) the next morning, departs Chicago at 08:30 CDT, arrives in Detroit (Willow Run) at 09:45 Eastern Standard Time (EST), departs Detroit at 11:00 EST and finally arrives in New York (Newark) at 14:10 EDT. Talk about a confusion of timezones! To make the most from this package you should download and install the CalClassic DC-6B model and also the Flying Tiger Lines livery created by Wayne Tudor. The latter is available from www.avsim.com and is file ftl_dc6a.zip. The aircraft itself is available from www.calclassic.com/dc6b.htm. Note that it must be a small-spinner model, not the aircraft with the larger streamlined spinners.

Douglas DC-3 and PBY Catalina/Canso P&W R-1830 Twin Wasp Radial Engine

File Description:
SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our brand new radial engine Douglas DC-3 Pratt and Whitney R-1830 sound pack for FSX! This sound could also be used for other twin engine P&W R-1830 powered aircraft such as the PBY Catalina/Canso.

FSX's sound cone technology has been extensively used to provide as much of a realistic sound experience as possible in the exterior view. Features include propwash sound effects from immediately behind the propeller, realistic radial engine start-up sounds, and a very realistic sounding fly-by! KLAX Fs Dreamteam

File Description:
This AFCAD is for the FS Dreamteam KLAXV2 scenery.Must install the latest version or it may not work correctly. All parking has been updated per the KLAX website as of March 4 2020.If you use AIG traffic some airlines still fly into LAX so I coded those as well. For example, Turkish Summer 2018 even though they are not listed on the website. I also closed the east runway operations. Only 24L for departures, 24R for arrivals and 25R departures and 25L for departures(CARGO OPS) and arrivals will be in use. Just drop into the scenery for KLAXV2 folder after backing up the original. Please let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement! Happy Flying!

TACV Cabo Verde Airlines Boeing 757-200 (P&W) fleet important update

File Description:
TACV Cabo Verde Airlines Aardvark Boeing 757-200 (P&W) fleet repaints for AI traffic utilising Garry Lewis' enhanced paintkitv2. I had to make this update as I was informed by "Oli" who painted the "AIG" version that 'D4-CBP' now sports a different tail logo from 'CBG'. I have ammended this now and also added the flags to the rear starboard side of each aircraft, which I had ommited. Well, we all make mistakes! Sorry for the inconvenience and please overwrite when prompted to do so in whichever format you have chosen. Now what would be amazing is if they applied the new ATR livery to the 75's mmmmm!!!!! Billy.

File Description: This is an update to a file issued in the fourth round of Afcads issued by Alpha India Group and fully replaces the original file. AIG Ground aims to create high quality Afcads for both FS2004 and for FSX default and Add On Scenery airports. Our Afcads are created drawing on a number of resources and aim to simulate the real world airport as closely as possible but also to take account of FS constraints and to ensure good levels of traffic and realistic traffic parking and flow around the airport.
