This is a comprehensive flight dynamics and engine modernization package for the freeware McDonnell Douglas MD-83 by Randy Rojas (SGA) for Flight Simulator X.The original package suffered from a generic B737 flight model, causing the aircraft to "stick" to the runway on takeoff, pitch up heavily in cruise, and consume an excessive amount of fuel. This update completely re-works the airframe geometry, weight distribution, and upgrades the propulsion system to modern MD-90 standards (IAE V2500-D5 engines).KEY CHANGES & BUG FIXES:
1. Airframe Geometry: Fixed a critical syntax typo in the [geometry] section (wing_pos_apex_lon). The simulator now calculates the wing aerodynamic center correctly. Fixed the excessive nose-up pitch in cruise — the pitch trim now holds an ideal 2.2 units at altitude.
2. Weight & Balance: Fully redistributed the payload (passenger stations and baggage compartments). Fixed the severe nose-heavy center of gravity (CG) that caused runway sticking on takeoff. Autopilot pitch commands are now smooth and accurate.
3. Engine Modernization: Powerplant data has been upgraded to match modern IAE V2500-D5 specs (static_thrust = 25000 lbs, TSFC = 0.55). Empty weight has been adjusted to compensate for heavier engines on the tail.
4. Fuel Flow Calibration: Completely recalculated the non-linear fuel flow matrix (Record 1505 in the .air file). Fuel consumption at normal working N2 RPM (above 60%) has been reduced by 32-35%. Total cruise fuel flow at FL370 (Mach 0.74) is now down to a highly efficient ~3.5–3.8 tons per hour. The center fuel tank has been resized to 2882 gallons to stabilize CG.INSTALLATION:

You need to download and install the latest Douglas DC-7C base pack with model, sound and panel from calclassic.com.
These textures depict N9000T (c/n 45119) originally delivered to BOAC as G-AOII and later served with SAS and some freight companys. The well-known Cpt Steven Quinto (once founder of Sagittair) bought the aircraft in 1978 and operated her as Air Freighter Leasing intensive in the Caribbean and South American region until 1981.

Project Airbus A320-232 Hainan Group package for Flight Simulator X. Aircraft model and texture of Capital Airlines,Tianjin Airlines and West Air are included, along with Panel,Sound and Virtual Cockpit from the Default A321. Original aircraft by Project Airbus, texture by He Lingyuan,China. This package still uses A320 V2 model as it is the only FSX based version offered, however the texture is created on A320 V2.1 paintkit and works fine. Delivered new to Spring Airlines in 2012 this airframe was originally in the classic green tail and titles livery but was repainted in this special "Bosideng" blue livery in December 2024 which it still wears as of December 2025. The livery is a promotional design as a partnership with popular Chinese clothing brand Bosideng. Original model for the Project Airbus A320 for FSX/P3D can be found at most of the major sharing sites, along with panels and sound packs to suit the Airbus.

This package includes one mission, two repaints (default OH-58 Saifan and DodoSim OH-58 Saifan) and multiple versions for different helicopter types (choose between default Bell 206, Alphasim S-70 Yanshuf and DodoSim Bell 206). Choose between Hebrew/English with English/German subtitles. More than 150 sound files, depending on aircraft model. Different rewards for different models and pilot attitude.
