JAL Group Pack #13

File Description:
The JALGroup consists of Japan Airlines, JALWays, Japan Asia Airways, Japan Transocean Air, JAL Express, J-Air, Japan Air Commuter, Harlequin Air, and the newly merged Japan Air System. This pack represents the fifth release of the JALGroup fleet. This is Pack #13. This release contains JALWays. Contents of the packs include textures (one night texture per aircraft type/developer) only. Aircraft models are by PAI and can be obtained on the PAI site. Repaints are by Frank Bass.

Continuing on with our crossing of North America, we have here package #5 and our final set of adventure flights within the state of Alaska! Our flights begin at Hoonah, AK and finish up at historical Skagway. The aircraft used are: DHC-2 Beaver Amphibian, Republic Seabee, Waco float bi-plane, Bearhawk float, Cessna 185 float, Cessna 206 II amphibian, Bellanca Scout float, DHC-6 Amphibian, Lake Renegade 250, Bell 47J2 helo floats. US Navy Super Constellation "Paisano Dos" of OASU/VX-8/VXN-8

File Description:
NC121K BuNo 145925 assigned to US Navy squadron OASU/VX-8-VXN-8 circa 1966. This aircraft flew missions for Project Magnet and has a number of different paint schemes over it's life time (1962-1970). The "orange-white" scheme shown here is the one I saw while serving with the squadron. These repaints are for Mike Stone's original aircraft model with tip tanks and require base pack "sconnie.zip" available on Mike Stone's web site: www.pmstone.com/download.php?f=sconnie.zip

Update for "Sounds" Program

File Description:
Enhanced sound files for the "sounds" program by José Oliveira and Jorge Filipe. This enhancement eliminates virtually all of the background recording "noise" in the original MP3 files used in the sounds program. Prior installation of "sounds.zip" - available at Avsim.com is required. Sounds provides daytime and nightime sounds when your aircraft engine is shut down - excellent for GA aircraft at smaller airfields. Compiled by David Marshall. Unzip to a temporary folder and follow the simple installation instructions.
