File Description:
YS-11 LITORAL colour scheme textures only for AFG`s YS-11. You must have the AFG YS-11 BASE PACK A for the aircraft jac v2.5a for FS2004 in order for these textures to work. Also included is the aircraft config text that needs to be added to the aircraft.cfg file for the aircraft to show in FS9. The aircraft was painted referencing the only photo I could find on airliners.net, so it may not be 100% correct as I had to best guess the details.

This is a repaint of the AFG Pilatus PC - 12 in the fictional livery of the Real World "Kakadu Air". Kakadu Air is based at the Jabiru Airport in the Northern Territory of Australia and conducts scenic flights over the world famous Kakadu National Park. This is a complete package and no other files are required. Installation, Distribution and my email is contained in the ReadMe file. This plane has been thoroughly tested in FS9 ONLY. Fs2004 Namc YS-11 Combi ALA.LV-JII (c/n JA2086) in ALA 1967-1971 scheme.Aerotransportes Litoral Argentinos SA was a regional argentinean airline that operated Bac1-11s in domestic flights to several destinations to the north and northwest of Argentina.The YS11 flew those destinations the Bac1-11 wasn't able to reach. During 1971, ALA and Austral merged into a new company called Austral Lineas Aereas, and JII received the new corporate colours.Included in this file there's a version of the YS-11 Combi fitted with the external Apu kit, done by Esa Kaihlanen of the AFG team (thanks you Esa!).Textures only for the AFG's Namc YS-11 V2.7 Combi Configuration (ys-11combi.zip).Repaint by Damian Radice based on the original artwork by the AFG group.

LJ in LAPA green livery.When in September 1979 Austral ceased operations with the Namcs, LAPA (Lineas Aereas Privadas Argentinas) an emergent commuter airline, bought the three planes and obtained the governmental license to exploit the forsaken routes left by Austral. With a new livery, and an agressive advertising campaign, the Namcs based at SABE, begun flights to Gral. Pico, Gral. Roca, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Necochea and Pehuajo. Despite a promising beginning, such routes were not profitable at the end, and the planes flew with a coefficient of occupation of only 21%, too low to keep the Namcs on the air. LAPA then, decided to halt the YS-11 and to replace them with the smaller Shorts 330. By the end of 1981, the Namcs were made available to the market, and bought by Mid-Pacific Air, concluding fourteen years of presence of the Namcs in Argentina. Included in this file there's a version of the YS-11 Combi fitted with the external Apu kit, done by Esa Kaihlanen of the AFG team.
