LAPA Namc YS-11 Combi (Launch Livery) |
![]() |
File Description:
IJ in LAPA Launch livery. When in September 1979 Austral ceased operations with the Namcs, LAPA (Lineas Aereas Privadas Argentinas) an emergent commuter airline, bought the three planes and obtained the governmental license to exploit the forsaken routes left by Austral. With a new livery, and an agressive advertising campaign, the Namcs based at SABE, begun flights to Gral. Pico, Gral. Roca, La Plata, Mar del Plata, Necochea and Pehuajo. Despite a promising beginning, such routes were not profitable at the end, and the planes flew with a coefficient of occupation of only 21%, too low to keep the Namcs on the air. LAPA then, decided to halt the YS-11 and to replace them with the smaller Shorts 330. By the end of 1981, the Namcs were made available to the market, and bought by Mid-Pacific Air, concluding fourteen years of presence of the Namcs in Argentina. Included in this file there's a version of the YS-11 Combi fitted with the external Apu kit, done by Esa Kaihlanen. Textures only for the AFG's Namc YS-11 V2.7 Combi Configuration (ys-11combi.zip).

Astraeus/Iron Maiden 2009 "Ed Force One" |

File Description:
My version of the Captain Sim 757 Astraeus/Iron Maiden "ED FORCE ONE" livery is based on the Iron Maiden 2009 world tour paint scheme. I've tried to made the plane as accurate as possible based on various photos found on the internet. The text isn't 100% accurate, but overall I feel it's a very good likeness. I modified the back half of the plane to represent the cargo section of the plane and also modified the night textures to match. Since the paint kit doesn't actually represent the -23A model, I've done my best to give the plane the visual feel of a -23A model.. with that said, the doors located just behind the wings were drawn by hand and are NOT animated. As a bonus I've included a couple extras to make the Captain Sim 757 experience even better. First, I've included the "intelliscene.cfg" file used with the payware utility "AES - Airport-Enhancement-Services" and second I've included the text to add the "ASA 3D Lights" Addon to the external lighting. Both Payware utilities and the payware Captain Sim 757 are required.

KSNA, John Wayne-Orange County Airport |
![]() |
Images related to this file:
File Description:
John Wayne Airport (IATA: SNA, ICAO: KSNA, FAA LID: SNA) is an airport in an unincorporated area in Orange County, California, with its mailing address in the city of Santa Ana, which is also the county seat, hence the International Air Transport Association (IATA) airport code. The main entrance to the airport is off of MacArthur Blvd in Irvine, the city that abuts the airport from the north and east. Newport Beach and Costa Mesa form the southern and western boundaries, respectively, together with a small unincorporated area along the Corona del Mar (73) Freeway. Santa Ana lies just north, not actually touching the airport directly. Originally named Orange County Airport, the county Board of Supervisors renamed it in 1979 to honor the actor John Wayne, who resided in neighboring Newport Beach and died that year. It also became the first airport to be named after an entertainer.
The main runway, at 5,701 feet (1,738 m), is one of the shortest of any major airport in the United States, resulting in most passenger aircraft operating from the airport to be no larger than the Boeing 757. However, some larger cargo aircraft, such as the FedEx A310/300, fly from SNA. Some gates are built to handle planes up to the size of a Boeing 767, which can operate with payload/fuel load restrictions. No wide-body passenger aircraft are currently in scheduled service at the airport.

737NG Normal Procedures |
![]() |

File Description:
Sorry folks but yet another update since I found some additional small issues I wanted to correct. I hope with this version I caught them all so this will be the FINAL version...at least for today ;-) If you have problem fitting the list on 2 A4 pages when printing it from WordPad make sure you have unchecked the option in WordPad to print page numbers.
A flow/checklist for flying PMDG's 737NGX with FS2Crew Voice Edition. Did this mainly for my own use meaning the flow/checklist is adjusted for how I do my flying and with the addons I use like Aerosoft AES for example. Please also be aware this is not the kind of flow/checklist that includes all things you need to perform during a normal flight but instead you are expected to already have a general knowledge of both the NGX and FS2Crew. However I thought others might be helped by this too both newbies to get you going with the "flow" using FS2Crew but also for the more experienced users as a simple to print out and use memory note. It's also easy for you to change whatever you like to suit your own needs better since I created it in common rtf format using the standard Wordpad Windows application. I deliberately made it as compressed as possible leaving out stuff like all the answers to the checklists etc so it would fit on a single A4 sheet being easy to print and maybe also laminate if you like. Hope you'll enjoy it!

737NG Normal Procedures Non-APU version |
![]() |
Images related to this file:
File Description:
After some input and ideas from a fellow FS2Crew pilot here is a non-APU version of my flow and checklist to even closer mimic real world OPs the way many big airlines operate in real life every day at big airports around the world where the use of APU is limited to only a short period of time a couple of minutes before engine start. I also (don't I always ;-)) did some other changes and what I think improvements since my last version so give it a try and see what you think! About fitting the list on 2 A4 pages when printing it from WordPad please set all your margins to 25 mm in WordPad and uncheck the option to print the page numbers. This time I will not ask the AVSIM Library Managers to replace my old version with this one since some of you might still want the version where the APU is used depending on what kind of flights you do and to what kind of airports. Instead this will be uploaded as a new and separate version.
