This package contains TWO Kunsan AB 8th Fighter Wing F-16C HAVEGLASS 5 repaint textures for the Aerosoft F-16! The first jet is 89-2058 from the 36th FS, and the second is 90-0745 from the 80th FS.
I originally posted these repaints in July '23, but I recently noticed an error with the nosecone and pilot textures in that posting (the "save flipped vertically" .dds-thing got goofed up...Oops!), so this is an update/replacement to correct that! In addition, for this posting I've included upgraded/repainted AA and AG weapons in both LIVE and INERT colors, plus Haveglass-painted external tanks, underwing pylons and missile rails.

File Description:
This is a repaint of the special paint scheme for 8th TFS F-2A 13-8508 with the black and yellow "Panther" on the tail. I was able to re-create the "look" of the F-2 on the F-16, complete with custom painted decals, blue external tanks, and a grey cockpit interior. I also made sure the textures will work with all the Aerosoft versions (A, AM, C), with a drag chute or without a drag chute.

This repaint depicts the Arizona ANG 152nd Fighter Squadron Commanders "Los Vaqueros" F-16C 88-0417. I saw this jet on static display at the Davis-Monthan airshow here in Tucson last month and knew right away that I HAD to paint it for the Aerosoft F-16! Also, while painting that jet I discovered on F16.net that the AZ ANG texture that came with the Aerosoft package, "texture.AZ_162 FW" tail number 84-318, depicts an F-16 from the 195th FS that's since been retired and is now sitting out in the "boneyard". So I decided to paint an "active" jet from the 195th to replace that one and included it in this package as a "bonus"!

| Aerosoft F-16C HO 88-0412 49 WG 'Tutor Et Ultor' Repaint Textures |

This is a repaint for the payware Aerosoft F-16 depicting Holoman AFB F-16C 88-0412 in the special '49 WG Tutor Et Ultor' paint scheme. I pulled out all the stops for this repaint and gave it the kind of attention to detail a CO's jet should get!
To give these textures a nice "HD/Sharp" look, I painted them in 2048 resolution, reduced them (w sharpening) to Aerosoft's "native" 1024 resolution, then saved them with DXT5 and no mip maps. For those of you with high-end systems, I've also included those 2048 textures for you to try!
You'll notice that the all grey markings/decals from nose to tail have been repainted and have a "sharp" look to them now. I also custom painted the P&W engine, pilot, ejection seat, and weapons textures as well. AND, I created special "Specular" files to give the tail surfaces that "high gloss paint" look like the real jet has!

Liveries: Euro Link VA NC & OC (inc winglet model), Air Europa "Disney", Excel Airways, KLM, Lufthansa (inc winglet model), Ryanair, ThomsonFly, XL Airways. All aircraft are equipped with professional sounds and a professional panel. He also integrated the up to date Server Info gauge into all aircraft for use with VATSIM. The usual push back gauge is also included along with the crew announcements. A new added feature to this package is V Speed readouts, which were not included in the last release. Repaint of the Flight1/Coolsky Super 80 in Northwest Orient N277US livery. Northwest Orient didn't fly MD-80's and N277US is actually on a B727. But I love retro liveries. Package contains both Classic and Professional Liveries. You must own the payware Flight1/Coolsky Super 80 in order to use these textures. Specular files included. Installation requires the free FSX Repaint Manager from Flight1.
