Boeing B-17G 91st BG (OR-R) 'Nine O Nine' Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors of B-17G-30-BO 'Nine o nine". Nine-O-Nine was a Boeing B-17G-30-BO Flying Fortress heavy bomber, of the 323rd Bomb Squadron, 91st Bomb Group, that completed 140 combat missions during World War II, believed to be the Eighth Air Force record for most missions, without loss to the crews that flew it. The original aircraft, a block 30 B-17G manufactured by Boeing, was nicknamed after the last three digits of her serial number: 42-31909. Nine-0-Nine was added to the USAAF inventory on December 15, 1943, and flown overseas on February 5, 1944. After depot modifications, she was delivered to the 91st BG at RAF Bassingbourn, England, on February 24, 1944, as a replacement aircraft, one of the last B-17s received in factory-applied camouflage paint. A former navigator of the 91st BG, Marion Havelaar, reported in his history of the group that Nine-O-Nine completed either 126 or 132 consecutive missions without aborting for mechanical reasons, also believed to be a record. M/Sgt. Rollin L. Davis, maintenance line chief of the bomber, received the Bronze Star for his role in achieving the record. Her first bombing raid was on Augsburg, Germany, on February 25, 1944. She made 18 bombing raids on Berlin. In all she flew 1,129 hours and dropped 562,000 pounds of bombs. She had 21 engine changes, four wing panel changes, 15 main gas tank changes, and 18 changes of Tokyo tanks (long-range fuel tanks). After the hostilities ceased in Europe, Nine-O-Nine was returned to the United States on June 8, 1945, and was consigned to the RFC facility at Kingman, Arizona on December 7, 1945, and eventually scrapped. B-17G-85-DL, 44-83575, civil registration N93012, owned and flown by The Collings Foundation, Stow, Massachusetts, flew marked as the historic Nine-O-Nine until its crash on the 2nd of October 2019. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

Antonov AN225-210 "Colossus" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The AN225-210 is the result of a proposed 1 to 2-year projected modernization program which will convert the current AN225 into a much more useful and capable aircraft than the already infamous Мрія (Mriya) . The latter First flew on December 21, 1988, and is currently 33 years old. There have been a few maintenance periods and 1 major avionics modification, but otherwise is too old for reliable future use. The 2 year process involves reconstructing the landing gear system to support much more weight. The new engines are much more powerful, but lighter in weight, and much more fuel efficient. The wings are replaced with similar wings with more wing-area built of modern light-weight material which gives her higher lift capacity. The cargo hold area is reinforced for heavier weight limits. The crew areas (upper deck, fore/aft main wing) are modernized for long duration flight, and two galleys are included. The fuel tanks (9) now also involve 3 tanks in the upper center portion of the fuselage in order to put less stress on the wings. The pressure system is modernized to achieve 6,000 feet cabin pressure up to FL470. The internal and external lighting is fully modernized, the former for a pleasing effect and the latter for distinct recognition during flight. Overall, the aircraft does not appear different to the common observer. Hellenic Air Force Republic Aviation F-84F Thunderstreak Download

File Description:
This is one of the first jet age aircrafts served in Hellenic Air Force, almost 50 years ago (!!!). There are three (3) repaint versions of Royal Hellenic Air Force in the zip package: The first one, represents an F-84F, as placed in front of 113rd Wing's main entrance as a "gate guard monument". The aircraft was placed there during early '90ies and the idea was captured by Brigadier General Vlachandonis who used to be the 113rd Wing's commander at that time. The second, shows an F-84F, as it was painted from 1957 to 1967. The specific aircraft used to belong to 339th Sqdr.with a white-blue-white stripe painted close to the nose as a squadron's ID mark. Additionaly, the "Mighty Mouse" official Sqdr's badge was placed on the left part of fuselage, just behind the cockpit. The thrird repaint is representing an F-84F, as it was painted from 1971, until the "retirement" on 1984. The aircraft which is presented into this "VietNam typed" repaint version used to belong to 338th Sqdr. operating from Larisa AB. This "F84F_HAF.zip" package is full compatible with FS2K2 and FS9 too and contains realistic sound made by Angelos Hatzikatakos, new panel made by Nick Karatzides, helpfull checklist and a VERY completed (as always...) flight manual (46 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat. This repaint was based on the original model made by Kazunori Ito. A total NEW flight model ("air" file and aircraft.cfg file) have been created by Nick Karatzides and have been tested hard, to ensure that the aircraft flies as close as possible like a real fighter! This "F84F_HAF.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the stick and do not "kick" the contol stick while flying. The package contains new visual effects, night lighting, fine looking mechanical parts movement, contrails, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc.

Airbus A359ULR Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Sinapore Airlines is the launch customer for the A359ULR. The aircraft is configured in a two-class layout, with 67 Business Class seats and 94 Premium Economy Class seats. She is designed for long range flights of over 9,700 nm. Fuel has been increased at the expense of souls on board. The primary use will initially be for routes between WSSS and KJFK (or KLGA), but many others of similar distance can be added later. The flight number on this aircraft reflects the first flight from KJFK-WSSS which is only 8,275 nm (Contrary to media reports of over 9,000 nm) and about 17.5 hours duration (see You Tube video on this flight). The aircraft follows normal flight rules with a higher flight level and longer range. Almost everything is computer controlled and monitored throughout the flight, from take-off to landing. Two of Four pilots monitor the flight at all times, and shift changes occur on a schedule that allows appropriate rest for the crew. The passengers enjoy accommodations unlike provided in any other aircraft or flight, with plenty of meal servings and entertainment options. To see the seating chart, enter the Airbus A359ULR Singapore Airlines folder and click the icon named “SeatGuru Seat Map Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 ULR.html” and the seating map will appear. The model here has ground servicing animation. Please review the ReadMe_FSX.txt document for further info on this. Read A359ULR details.txt for aircraft details. VC-25A (Air Force One) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The VC-25A is a modified Boeing 747-200F used as a dignitary transport by the Air Mobility Command's 89th Airlift Wing, Andrews Air Force Base (KADF), Maryland. There are two twin sister aircraft with tail numbers 28000 and 29000. Both are used by the President of the United States (POTUS) and the First Lady of the United States (FLOTUS) and as a dignitary transport for high level personnel for special missions. When carrying the President, the call-sign is “Air Force One”, but otherwise uses a variety of call-signs when the President is not on-board. Each sister aircraft is nearly identical to the other, with all of the same accommodations. One can fly as a “Mask” when the President is on-board the other. The aircraft is modified with many secret aspects, and is heavier at Empty Weight than a normal 747-200F because of this. However, she normally only carries 102 souls on board with enough supplies to last for any long range flight, so she operates at a lower weight than the normal 747-200F. Due to the fortifications employed within the design, her MTOW is lower, as well. The engines are a bit more powerful than normal, and have better fuel efficiency. She has specialized equipment on-board for communications, a weather/recon radar dome (not shown in this paint scheme), and missile/aircraft countermeasures if needed. The interior is almost silent due to the high pressure cabin structure and fortified frame, including bullet-proof windows. With all of the above, she is still the most powerful, efficient, and the fastest 747 ever built. Original Model Designers (FS2004): C. Vincent Cho, Yosuke Ube, Nick Peterson, Warren C. Daniel, Simon Ng, Hin Tat, BIll Kovatchev. Sound: Emil Serafino. Panel: Philippe Wallaert. Real World Aero/Engine Dynamics and Modifications by Douglas E. Trapp ([email protected]), June 2018.

Ansaldo S.V.A.-5 (V.01) Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
One of the faster airplane of WWI thanks to an innovative design, the S.V.A. was the first airplane conceived and built entirely in Italy. The initials "S.V.A." stand for the names of Savoia and Verduzio, the two engineers that designed it, and of Ansaldo, the firm that built over 2000 of them starting from 1917. The Ansaldo S.V.A. was an entire family of Italian reconnaissance biplane aircraft of World War I and the decade after. Originally conceived as a fighter, the S.V.A. was found inadequate for that role. Nevertheless, its impressive speed, range and operational ceiling made it an excellent reconnaissance aircraft and even light bomber.

The S.V.A. became legendary among pilots for some of its memorable flights; first, above all, the one over Vienna: this flight was an epic action performed by Italian poet and nationalist patriot Gabriele D'Annunzio on 9th August 1918. After the war, thanks to the strong determination of Arturo Ferrarin and Guido Masiero( the pilots), two S.V.A.9s (the two seater version of the S.V.A.-5) flew for 18000Km from Rome to Tokyo (14th February / 31st May 1920). Another S.V.A., piloted by Antonio Locatelli, first flew alone across the Andes (30th July 1919).
Production of the aircraft continued well after the war, with the final examples delivered in 1928. In 1919 some S.V.A.s were used in airmail routes by "Gruppo Sperimentale Comunicazioni Aeree", a group formed by the Italian Army in order to prove the feasibility of commercial air services. The Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force, since 1923) employed the S.V.A. in operational units in Italy and North Africa (Lybia) as well as for pilot training. Many war-surplus planes were employed by commercial flying schools.

Complete aircraft, 5 Different Hi-Res GMax models (5 different versions, three S.V.A.-5 and two S.V.A.-9), features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls. Five different liveries (three WWI and two post-war). VC and 2D Panel. Models, panels and paints by Manuele Villa, Flight dynamics, Handling notes and tutorials by FSAviator. September 2008. Installation instructions included.

AN-22 Antheus Mastered Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
THIS IS MY FINAL AN-22 VERSION: Unveiled to the West in 1965, the Antonov An-22 was the world's largest aircraft, until the advent of the Lockheed C-5A Galaxy. Powered by 4 contra-rotating turboprops, the design remains the world's largest turboprop-powered airplane. The An-22 was originally built for the Soviet Air Force and Aeroflot, the state airline. A total of 68 aircraft were built during 1965-1975, from which 2 never flew, 19 have been preserved, and 33 removed from service. Currently only 7 are in service. Six of them are used by the Russian Air Force and one (UR-09307) belongs to Antonov Design Bureau, used for civil needs, and operates out of UKKM. The AN-22 is designed to carry heavy loads of 80 tonnes over a 3,000 nm range at high speed and moderate altitude. The civilian model is used for long and medium range flights with updated avionics and flight controls. The wing has a forward and rear sweep effect with a low taper ratio and moderate wing area for it's size. The tail includes twin vertical fins that help maintain stability. The engines are constant speed turboprops that include 2 four bladed contra-rotating props with auto-pitch, and this gives her a thrust rating of 15,211 shp and a fuel efficiency of .353 lb/hp/hr. The cargo area is 14 ft high and wide, and 108 ft long. All fuel is contained within the wings and in the upper fuselage (7 tanks). She has 12 wheels that carry most of the weight, and two steering wheels located behind the crew cabin. Cargo is loaded through the rear loading ramp. The cockpit is located high, as well as the crew quarters. Additional passengers (when present) are seated below the cockpit forward. Original Design and Textures by: Enrique Del Rosario; Sound by: Aaron R. Swindle; Panel by: Marco Spada; Auto Smoke Effects by Richard Wisman; Engine/Aero Dynamics, effects and data by: Douglas E. Trapp. Please Read the Readme AN22.txt file before operations.

B-52J Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Since it became operational in 1955, the B-52 has been the main long-range heavy bomber of the U.S. Air Force. It first flew on Apr. 15, 1952. Nearly 750 B-52s were built when production ended in Oct. 1963. This "J" model is the future re-engined "h" model 60-0042 of the 917th Wing AFRC based at Barksdale AFB (KBAD). She flies higher, further, and faster than any previous version. The aircraft can cruise at 380 KIAS at 500 ft agl over about 5,000 nm which makes her capable of reaching targets within enemy airspace anywhere on the globe without being detected by radar until it's too late. Her normal high altitude cruise speed has been increased to Mach .88 above FL550E over 9,000 nm without refueling, and her service ceiling has increased to FL570E. The 50,000 lb payload is still nominal, but due to the lighter engines she now has more accomidations for the crew, and does not require refueling very often. She can range much further with less speed (i.e., Mach .85), but there is normally no need for that. This aircraft is designed to fly like the real thing. It is likely one of the best B-52 models available at this time. I have test-flown this aircraft around the globe several times to reassure myself that all is well. You will not have a bouncing effect occur when cruising with 16x speed acceleration and autopilot engaged because all aerodynamics and balance are perfected to a very low margin of error, or no error margin at all. Please be sure to read the INSTRUCT.TXT file for extended details. Boeing B-17G 91st BG (LL-E) "Shoo shoo shoo baby" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP2 B-17G in the colors B-17G-35-BO 42-32076, which rolled off Boeing's production line in Seattle in march 1944. This was around the transition from camouflaged to bare metal aircraft, which led to the odd situation that the datablock was stencilled onto a OD panel, while the rest of the aircraft was left bare metal. This was because the datablock was sprayed on right at the beginning of production. The aircraft was assigned to the 401st BS of the 91st BG, and was collected at the depot in Burtonwood by Paul McDuffee, who was so impressed with its smooth handling that he asked to be assigned to it. The aircraft was named by its crew chief, Hank Cordes, and was named after a popular song by the Andrews Sisters. Originally, the name was 'Shoo shoo baby', applied in gothic letters, which was later replaced by a Vargas girl and an additional 'shoo', painted by Cpl. Tony Starcer. McDuffee flew 13 missions with 076, before completing his tour of duty. On completion of his last flight, he buzzed the airfield and flew so low that fencing wire became entangled in the tail wheel. On the plane's 23rd mission, on 29 may 1944, Lt. Robert Guenther was flying 076 on a raid to Poznan when he suffered engine failure on one engine, and a while later, flak knocked out a second engine. 'Shoo shoo shoo baby' started to fall behind, and when a third engine started to falter, Lt Guenther decided to turn to neutral Sweden, with the crew jettisoning all loose equipment. A group of FW190's closed in, but did not open fire, peeling away. By the time 076 reached Bulltofta airfield near Malmö, it had only one engine left, but it did manage to perform a safe landing. The crew were interned, and the aircraft was impounded. The crew returned to the UK in October 1944, and 'Shoo shoo shoo baby' would later tour the world... Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

Reality XP 737-500 ADI True Display XP Unlocked Demo Download

File Description:
Not to be redistributed in any form without prior approval from Reality XP Reality XP 737 ADI in True Display XP Demo Important information This is the readme for the fully unlocked version 1.1 Dear Flight Simulator Enthusiast, we thank you for flying with Flight Line Avionics, and are pleased to offer an example of our unique technology: True Display XP. As you might have been aware off, we are currently designing the overall systems and avionics of the upcoming Flight1’s Piper Meridian. This extraordinary aircraft features an advanced cockpit panel, with Glass Cockpit Meggitt Avionics EADI, EHSI and EDU, coupled with a state of the art S-TEC Autopilot System and a full featured Garmin Radio Stack and Navigation System. Rest assured that our rendition of the Meridian avionics far above the standards of the Flight Line Avionics depth and accuracy, and even more! To let you prefigure what our unique technology brings to the overall simulated experience, we have especially designed this 737 ADI Demo to showcase a small fraction of the overall design techniques and tools we have built: True Display XP. True Display XP is meant to provide enough visual cues and precision, while not sacrificing the accuracy at any resolution. This is achieved with both a high refresh rate and a highly sophisticated rendering engine, while virtually having no impact to the FS2002 Frame Rate. With this technology in any aircraft product, you’ll be able to precisely hand fly any ILS approach to a level of precision you’ve never been used to with any other FS2002 add-on. Seeing is believing! Unlike the other “vector gauges”, our unique technology not only resembles and feels like a real CRT/LCD, but is more elaborate than an Anti Aliasing Line Drawing system. This prevent any “jitter” in effectively rendering all the display at a sub pixel resolution. We are glad to let you share our excitement for the Flight1’s Meridian with this demo which showcases our unique technology. We thank you for your fidelity to Reality XP. Best Regards, Reality XP www.reality-xp.com
