Greece Airforce McDonnell Douglas F-4F Phantom II Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 E/F Phantom 2 is a two-seat, twin-engined, all-weather, long-range supersonic fighter-bomber originally developed for the U.S. Navy by McDonnell Aircraft. Proving highly adaptable, it became a major part of the air wings of the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and U.S. Air Force. It was used extensively by all three of these services during the Vietnam War, serving as the principal air superiority fighter for both the Navy and Air Force, as well as being important in the ground-attack and reconnaissance roles by the close of U.S. involvement in the war. First entering service in 1960, the Phantom continued to form a major part of U.S. military air power throughout the 1970s and 1980s, being gradually replaced by more modern aircraft such as the F-15 Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon in the U.S. Air Force and the F-14 Tomcat and F/A-18 Hornet in the U.S. Navy. It remained in service in the reconnaissance and Wild Weasel roles in the 1991 Gulf War, finally leaving service in 1996. Phantoms remain in front line service with seven countries, and in use as an unmanned target in the U.S. Air Force. Phantom production ran from 1958 to 1981, with a total of 5195 built. This extensive run makes it the second most-produced Western jet fighter, behind the famous F-86 Sabre at just under 10,000 examples. Drivable and Flyable Grey Van Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The Drivable and Flyable Grey Van is derived from a stationary Euro Van model by the following modifications / additions: -land-vehicle instrument panel -sound files -FSX effects and custom exhaust smoke effects files -modified .CFG and .AIR files The vehicle is powered by a single aircraft piston engine with modified flaps to serve as a gear-shift. High gear allows the vehicle to speed up to 70 Kt on wide highways, while the low gear restricts the speed to about 12 Kt, but enables the vehicle to ascend steep slopes for exploring terrain scenery. At speeds around 65-70 Kt (in gear 4), pulling back on the yoke will allow the vehicle to take off and fly at level-flight speeds around 70 Kt. This is an interesting way to go island-hopping, overcome insurmountable terrain obstacles, or cover larger straight-line distances without using the slew mode. An autopilot with hold altitude and hold heading options is operable during flight only. All dashboard instruments are fully functional, including the Radio-Magnetic Indicator (RMI) during flight. Needles 1 and 2 are activated if correct frequencies are entered in the ADF and VOR radios. The vehicle has lights which are toggled by pressing [L]. Lights are associated with a very thin exhaust smoke effect. Thick exhaust smoke is toggled by pressing [I]. Driving vehicles through FSX scenery in different seasons presents a whole new aspect to the simulation. It allows us to imagine discovering innumerable places on the planet which are in practice beyond our reach. I hope you enjoy!

Black Cat Catalina PBY5/5Av1.1 for x-plane Download

File Description:
This update includes improvements to the fuselage shape, addition of retractable wing floats using wheel farings, an improved but not custom panel, improved prop efficiency and more. The PBY Catalina is probably the best known flying boat with over 4000 produced by Consolidated aircraft and licensees. The Black Cat squadrons all done in flat black played havoc particularly for the Japanese in the Pacific. Fitted with radar, with a 15 hour endurance and 2800 mile range they hunted Japanese naval ships by night and bombed or torpedoed them by the hundreds up. There are 6 engine nacelles used in the model, 2 represent the 1200 HP radial engines driving the props, the others are jets with 5 lbs of thrust, 1 is used for the rear fuselage section, 1 is used for the wing pylon, 1 is used for the flare from the fuselage to the vertical stabilizer and the last is used for the forward observation and gunner space. Two are not used. Wing sections are taken up by the main wing and the support spars so there you go. The fuel tanks are used for the side gunner pods since these can be decorated separately. The plane flies very well and is stable as a rock. Takeoffs from water are quite easy as long as you don't dip a wing tip (no floats remember). The Black Cat squadron logo used in the paint scheme is courtesy of http://www.daveswarbirds.com/blackcat/logos.htm and is from the VP-71 Black Cat squadron.

CH-47D Chinook Hellenic Army Aviation Download

File Description:
Greece has 15 CH-47D. The 9 of them are upgraded CH-47C to CH-47DG in 1995. The other 6 are CH-47SD. In 1980 Greece ordered 10 CH-47C Chinook. The first arrived in Greece in 1983. The first Greek Chinooks formally were belonged to Iran but after the fallen of Shahs, they were given to Greece. In 1984 took place the first accident of the Greek Chinooks when the ÅÓ-006 had a heavy landing in Samos Island, during the transportation of a radar. After that the 006 was used as a source. The other 9 in the period of 1992-1994 were upgraded to D (Super D). After the Imia night, the Greek Government wanted to order 11 Chinooks helicopter, 9 SD and 2 SD for the Special Forces. Later 7 Chinooks were ordered. They have analogue cockpit and not glass cockpit in order to be same with the old DG. Also they have the better engine T55-L714A (4.868hp). This Chinook package is only for the FSX, but in case you want to fly it on your FS2004,then the majority of the Gauges will not be appeared. The package is complete. Piaggio P-166DL3 SEM Patrol Version Download

File Description:
Thanks to Andrew Spring of www.p166.com!! The seventh of the coming P-166 aircraft series. I'm going to built the whole family of these graceful twins. The Piaggio P-166A is a light small twin. An Exotic two-engined prop that sold all over the world including America, UK, and Australia. The P-166DL3 is the actual production version of a plane that firt flew in 1957, now with turboprop engines, new avionics, increased fuel capacity, and completly new hydraulic and electric system. Its origin is traced Back to the Piaggio P-136, a light anphibian, which the P-166 keeps the wings, the engines and the tailplanes. The first P-166A flew in November 1957, and the DL3 is dated 1976. The APH version (Aero-PHotograammetric) was originally built featuring a flat bottom with opening holes for cameras and orher devices, planning to use the unit for logistic squads, that never formed. So the APH internal features were generally limited to Military high density transport, paratrooper transport, or Cargo. Units fitted with APH original projected photogrammetric capibilities are very rare. he SEM version can be esily identified by the big sonar under the nose, the FLIR under the left wing and a search light on the right wing. It' a maritime antismuggling patrol aircraft, and it's used by the italian Cost guard and "guardia Di Finanza (Finance Guard). The aircraft waits to be repalced by a new version, the P-166DP-1, with PT-6A engines. This model is 740 Kbs with c.a. 21000 polygons in c.a.160 assemblies. Features Clickable Dynamic Photoreal VC with non-planar throttle quadrant. New here is the photoreal panel. Detailed internals.

Dassault Falcon 7X Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This aircraft is the advanced upgrade from the previous version. The paint is realistic. All authors credited, other than myself, are not involved with any of the engine/aerodynamic or detailed corrections. I even enhanced the parking data, callsign used, lighting effects, gear, MOI, weight & ballance, flaps and engine locations for realism. There are no known issues with this model as it stands, and it is now possible to easily achieve FL510 and cruise over 8,500 nm, even with 16X simulation speed activated using auto-pilot. This perfection is based on real world aero/engine dynamic data and formulas employed within the aircraft.cfg and .air files. Flight Tuning is no longer used in this model. There is no other FSX Falcon 7X available anywhere (Free or Payware) that includes all of this realism to my knowledge, but if there is, I have a twin brother from another mother out there somewhere. Don't be fooled. I don't expect any world-wide awards or the "Nobel FS Prize" for any of this, but your comments related to the results will be appreciated, and acknowledged. Please understand that this work required many hours of study and testing, and is offered free for Educational Purposes only. The results illustrate the realism of the Falcon 7X in almost every aspect imaginable, which is possible with all FSX aircraft when you know how and what is needed. Original Model by Bob May and Danny Crance (2009). Panel by Jean-Pierre Brisard, Don Kuhn and Rob Barendregt. Sound by Aaron Swindle. Real World Aero/Engine Dynamics and Data by Douglas E. Trapp, [email protected], January 2018.

B-26K (A-26A) Counter-Invader Download

File Description:
In the early 1960's, meeting the need for a "counter-insurgency" aircraft, the USAF chosen On Mark Engineering Company of Van Nuys, California proposed the following major modifications to the already existing B-26 airframe: a complete remanufacture of the fuselage and tail assembly, an enlarged rudder, rebuilt and strengthened wings, re-engining with 2,500 hp P&W R-2800-52W engines, larger, fully reversible propellers with automatic feathering and clipped tips, full dual flight controls, two 165 gallon wing tip tanks, a full compliment of airborne electronics and more. This new aircraft was first delivered to the USAF in June of 1964 under the designation B-26K. Later aircraft had their cowlings revised with the air scoop being relocated further back on the cowl. By April of 1965, all forty B-26K Counter-Invaders had been delivered to the USAF. For all effects, gauges, and the excellent A-26 sound package by David Copley, the original SOH A-26 Invader is required to be installed before installation of this aircraft. Included in this package: model by Milton Shupe with K model modifications by John Terrell, textures by Russel Smith, Henry William, and John Terrell, 2D panel and gauges by Rich Murray, flight dynamics by Jerry Beckwith and Tom Falley modified by John Terrell, pilot figures by Jan Visser. A special thanks goes out to Milton Shupe who generously provided me the original source model to work with as well as a great amount of help whenever I ran into a tough spot. Also I'd like to thank Cliff Presley for all of his excellent resources he has provided to this project.

FIP - 5 Gauge Display - 2 Engine Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This set of gauges is for use in the Saitek FIP and has been developed specifically for the Baron 58 and variants but should work with other twin prop aircraft. There are 3 options- option 1. a pair of gauges for displaying on 2 FIPs (layout is similar to the fsx BB58 layout) option 2. One gauge for displaying only on 1 FIP (left and right eng needle on each of the 5 main instruments ) option 3. a pair of gauges for displaying on 2 FIPs with larger diameter gauges and more user interaction than in 1. above. 1,2, & 3 all have the 5 main engine instrumentation ( RPM, Manifild Pressure, Fuel Flow rate, Oil Temp and Pressure, CHT/EGT Temp.) Additional features are added .e.g Marker Beacon indicators plus indicator of left / right fuel tank selected for each engine, NAV 1 & NAV 2 with DME data. Option 1 & 3 also has fuel pump switches, alternator switches, starter buttons, cowl flaps and Amps (total load) gauge, and Battery volts gauge. Option 3 also has additional avionics data and avionics and battery switch buttons. All this enables the aircraft to be started from cold and shut down to cold. The avionics data is useful if you only have one Saitek radio panel. i.e. dont have to keep clicking / rotating switches all the time. This option also gives user ability to alter NAV 1 standby frequency and swap to active. With the 2 gauges in option 3 above plus my earlier FIP gauge containing a working Auto pilot and fuel levels / flaps and landing gear indicators (refer "FIP-AP Multi Fuel Gauges") there is everything required (not the primary flight display instruments) for flying a single or twin prop aircraft displayed across either 2 or 3 FIPs.

File Description:
X-Plane 6.40 The PBY Catalina is probably the best known flying boat with over 4000 produced by Consolidated aircraft and licensees. The Black Cat squadrons all done in flat black played havoc particularly for the Japanese in the Pacific in WWII. Fitted with radar, with a 15 hour endurance and 2800 mile range they hunted Japanese naval ships and bombed or torpedoed them by the hundreds. This a fairly accurate rendition of the PBY except that the retractable pontoons are missing. Why? Well basically after using all the tricks I know I ran out of parts. The Black Cat squadron logo used in the paint scheme is courtesy of http://www.daveswarbirds.com/blackcat/logos.htm and is from the VP-71 Black Cat squadron. E mail me with any good panels or paint schemes and I will give full credit if used.
