File Description:
Ken Rand's small, single-seat, retractable-gear homebuilt, built using Styrofoam and Dynel/epoxy model aircraft techniques. This model was designed using FSDS v3.51, principally for ai use, so there is a relatively low polygon-count main model, with several LOD models and a reduced-detail shadow for optimal fps. Not a short-field aircraft, it's quite streamlined and there are no flaps, so the stall speed is quite high for a small 'plane, 45kts., but as it's such fun to fly I fitted a basic VC with a functional panel using mostly default gauges. This is a "slippery" little aircraft, needing rather more runway to land than you might expect, so line up early and get your speed down if you don't want to have to go around. The flight dynamics were prepared with Gerry Beckwith's AirWrench, but, as is the way with many homebuilt aircraft, the figures I worked from, hence my final result, will probably vary from other published data. Thanks to the highest level of technology available, and very light material, the Sportster has a very efficient direct control system that guarantees the same satisfaction as flying a fighter jet.
The MCR Sportster can be equipped with a choice of different power plants, but may also be fitted with other options such as :
Ballistic Recovery System parachute
Extended range wing tanks.
Toe operated Hydraulic brakes
The MCR Sportster is available in kit form in respect with the CNSK regulation (specific kit airworthiness certificate) or in the "experimental" category depending on the registration country.

| Radio Range System - Version 3 Adaptation for MAAM-SIM R4D-6/DC-3A/C-47 |

File Description:
Complements the Radio Range System (rr_03.zip) developed by By Dave Bitzer, Alex Nicolson, Norman Hancock, Allan Greene and Charles Wood, which must be installed first. This simple gauge enables the Radio Range System to be used with the Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations' R4D-6/DC-3A/C-47 aircraft, by enabling the relevant switches on the Audio Panel. MAAM-SIM aircraft are available from www.maam.org/maam_sim.html.
This gauge supersedes the previous uploads RR_MAAM.zip and RR_MAAM2.zip, both of which included errors. If you have previously installed either or both of these, don't worry; just overwrite the previously supplied gauge file with the one included here and check that your gauge entries are correct as shown in the README included in this package.
Library managers: please discard my files RR_MAAM.zip and RR_MAAM2.zip from your archives, as both are flawed. Many users must have been flying in total confusion as a number of the signals were reversed. Perhaps, they thought it was their error not mine and were too embarrassed to highlight problems! Anyway, hopefully I have it right this time!

LAN Airlines, S.A. was formerly known as LAN Chile and is based Santiago, Chile with its main hub at Arturo Merino BenÃtez International Airport (SCEL) in Santiago. It also operates hubs in Lima, Peru Buenos Aires, Argentina Miami, Florida USA and Quito and Guayaquil Ecuador. LAN Airlines comprises LAN Chile, LAN Argentina, LAN Peru, LAN Ecuador and LAN Express.
I delayed the release of this aircraft after seeing the recent release by Dave Wilkins of high-quality LAN Airlines AI Aircraft using the EvolveAI models. After downloading and installing them myself, I thought it would be a nice complement if the colors of this A320 matched the colors of David's LAN Airlines AI A320's, A319's and A318. I think the result is quite nice and hope you agree.
This full installation package includes the Project Airbus A320 IAE V2 model and air files, a modified FDE (with permission from Peter Binamira of Project Airbus), A320 lighting enhancements and 32-bit textures. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. Please see Install.txt for installation details.

Package includes seven Aircraft models (wheels, floats, amphibs, skis) with 13 textures, a great flight model, authentic and awesome radial custom sounds, custom panels, easy-to-read clickable virtual cockpits, and superbly crafted exterior and interior textures.
This aircraft release is one in series of real world Avia aircraft designed by Czech engineer Robert Nebesar. The first was the Avia 51 and 156. This Avia 56 was a prototype that was changed because of engine availability, and became the 156. The next and last aircraft in the series is the Avia 57, a 14-passenger, 3-engine monoplane currently under development.

IBM PC VERSION ONLY. This file contains DLL's that are not Mac. compatible.
A total of over 1500 aircraft were built. With double slotted full span flaps (drooping ailerons) and 1000lbs payload, its STOL capability, along with having a float version with retracts, made it an ideal "Bushplane" with unparalelled performance from any contempory aircraft. Many Beavers are still in use today.
The model was built using Truespace 4.3 and Chris Wallace's 3ds to S3d converter. Photorealistic interior views are used with auto switching day-time/night-time main panel.
The model requires that you have the Tri default aircraft installed.
A few non-standard features have been included to improve the ease of operation.
1. nose wheel steering (the original uses differential braking and castoring nose gears)
2. an electric pump for hydraulics (optional on the original )
3. a simple GPS that can be slaved to the auto pilot. (unheard of during the production life of the original but very likely to be found on any survivng present day aircraft.
4. a transponder has been added to enable IFR flights
