Douglas DC-3 Mandated Airlines VH-MAL

File Description:
This aircraft was previously 'Betsy', the founding aircraft of Cathay Pacific Airways. Here she is in the colours of Mandated Air Lines of Papua New Guinea, registration VH-MAL, 1955-1963. The thumbnail shows her as at 15 September 1960, when her co-pilot mistook the Captain's raised thumb on the starboard throttle as a signal to raise the gear. She came to an inglorious halt 2,700 feet from the start of her take-off run, severely damaged, but after repairs flew for many more years. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this model includes transparent cabin windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. Includes FS2002 lights fix by Paul Pridmore. Default panel and sound.

P38 v1.1 For X-Plane 6.4-6.6

File Description:
P38v1.1 for X-Plane 6.4-6.6. Improved paint job, panel and other minor improvements. The P38 developed a a result for a fast long range fighter requested by the US; most manufacturers ignored the call for proposals because of the ridiculous requirements. Lockheed, using the brilliant and unconventional ideas of their designer, Kelly Johnson (who later went on to help design the SR-71 Blackbird among others), came up with a plane that was totally unique for the time. It had two engines, used liquid cooled inlines instead of radials, tricycle landing gear, provided staggering operating ranges and payloads yet was able to maneuver capably with single engined fighters. The test models of the P38 made more "firsts" than any other plane both on paper and in the air.

HMS Bounty Update V1.2

File Description: HMS Bounty V1.2 Update for FSX Previous VERSIONS. Built Specifically for FSX - (separate package required for FS9 versions). By Milton Shupe, Nigel Richards, Rob Barendregt, Sasha Rieger, and Rob Ibey. Helmsman by Craig "Full" Richardson. The update simply replaces the Panel folder for the HMS Bounty. WILL NOT WORK IN FS9 as it contains FSX native texture formatting and FSX specific sim interfaces. (Separate FS9 package available.) Version 1.2 upgrades: 1) Further improvements regarding wind effects on yaw and roll based on the confluence of sails deployed, wind speeds and direction relative to ship heading, yard arms angle to the wind, and ground speed. 2) Auto-Skipper greatly improved for high winds and gusts to minimize the showing/hiding of sails and improve roll with gusts.

Piper Cherokee Six-300 v2

File Description:
The PA-32 series began life as the Cherokee Six, a significantly modified six seat development of the PA-28 Cherokee series. While similar in configuration to the Cherokee, the Cherokee Six differed in a number of major areas. Two of the big differences were implied in its name, a six cylinder O-540 or IO-540 powerplant, and the six seat configuration. While the wing was based on the Cherokee's, the fuselage was substantially larger, with strengthened undercarriage and a larger tail. This package includes an updated model from my previous release, which adds opening doors, better flight dynamics, a few texture fixes, aileron movement fix, and a new paint scheme (reflective textures), and panel. This model is compatible with the previous version, so any paint schemes you have will work with this model.

OB-1 Wilder Idaho Low Altitude Flight Plan

File Description:
FSX Flight Plan for OB-1 Wilder Idaho IFR high speed low altitude military training route. This is the first in a series of flight plans I will be uploading in the near future. These are great routes for B-52, F-111, B-1B, B-2 A6, A4, Vulcan and any fighter or bomber enthusiasts. Of course you can fly the route with any aircraft of your choice. Included in this package are two spectacular gauges by Karol Chlebowski for TFR flying and Pave Tack which includes many advanced features for bombing, navigation and reconnaissance. These two gauges will greatly enhance your ability to fly these challenging routes and are a great companion of the flight plans. Another option to download Version 2.1 of my mini panel which has all this functionality and more.

The update primarily addresses some changes in the panel and aircraft configurations, and gauges. It will also install thumbnail pictures for the FSX Select Aircraft Menu in FSX. Later MAAM-SIM updates will address further changes in FSX, including visual and flight dynamic changes. Updates all sixteen aircraft on the latest 9th Edition R4D/DC-3/C-47 CD, but can be used with any past edition of the CD. Includes illustrated installation instructions.
