File Description: All former versions of the C-5 have completed the conversion to C-5M, to date. They include more efficient engines with more power, a glass cockpit, longer range and heavier lift capabilities. Other than those aspects, they look the same as before. VERY BIG!!! She is the largest cargo aircraft operated by the U.S. Air Force and several other countries who have purchased her. I suggest reading about this aircraft on-line, and watching a few You Tube videos before your first flight, but do as you wish. She is very easy to fly, and all C-5M pilots agree with this statement. This version is based at Dover AFB, and the callsign is real. The refurbished aspects of this FSX model include extremely realistic engine/aerodynamics as well as payload distribution. The landing gear have also been corrected for realism. What this plane does in the simulator is what it does realistically. The panel is close to real, but takes time to understand and use properly. The sounds used are very realistic, so no need to change that unless you feel the need to do so. Flying her is pretty easy. Northrop F-5B Freedom Fighter Hellenic Air Force

File Description:
This is a superb aircraft I used to fly as a Hellenic Air Force pilot. This repaint is presenting an F-5B Freedom Fighter as it used to fly with 343rd Squadron of Hellenic Air Force, during the '90ties. The F-5 Freedom Fighter was a very succesfull aircraft during its 30 year carrer in HAF as a fighter, bomber, multy role aircraft until the early months 2001 when finaly released by active duty. The project is fully combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions. It is based on a very realistic FS model, with realistic features, made by FSD International. The package contains realistic sounds made by Mr. Angelos Hatzikatakos. A new, based on real photos and diagrams 2D panel, was made by Nick Karatzides who also modified (for FS purposes) the official checklist by Northrop. A VERY completed flight manual (60 pages) which can be read with Adobe Acrobat is included. The panel (combatible with both FS2K2 & FS9 versions) uses plenty of realistic gauges to simulate the real F-5's cockpit. The HUD gauge is made by Mr. Eric Marciano, afterburner flame effects by Mr. Jan Rosenberg and fuel jettison gauge by Mr. Doug Dawson. This "F5B_HAF1.zip" package is for EXPERIENCED FlightSimers and virtual pilots who have a "good feeling" on the controls and do not "kick" the contol stick while flying...It is for people who want to know how it looks to fly with a modern fighter. The package contains visual effects, night lighting, fine looking mechanical parts movement, contrails, realistic gears extracting / retracting etc. Instructions for both FS2K2 and FS9 versions are included.

Nick's Space Shuttle Landing Challenge FINAL RELEASE

File Description:
Featuring the Space Shuttle Discovery and celebrating NASA's return to space! This package contains the most up to date version of my Space Shuttle Landing Challenge (v1.2). I am providing it as a FINAL single installation package to eliminate the need for multiple update files. This package includes the Space Shuttle Discovery redesigned using actual NASA-Boeing mechanical/aeronautical engineering data, a panel, sounds and shuttle landing FX. The space shuttle in the sim (like the real shuttle) has the ability to water 'ditch' and belly land in an emergency or if improperly landed on the suspension system. You can select the sensitivity of the main landing gear struts (less crashes) for those who are novice to flying critical tolerances. This package includes a CHALLENGE FLIGHT ADVENTURE PACKAGE and features a reference list of the flights along with approach/landing procedure tips to the kneeboard (F-10) for you to refer to while in flight. The adventure pack will provide a set of 11 challenge flights spanning the globe for the space shuttle re-entry simulation. A Bonus PACK of CrashBar effects including smoke, fire, explosions and other nasty reminders of landing mistakes is included as an optional installation. The original .mdl file is by Matthew Moxon and a modified for FS9 panel byTom Kellner. Arik Air Bombardier CRJ-900 'C-FHRH' Wings of Nigeria

File Description:
Arik Air is a new startup airline in Nigeria. Part of its fleet includes this and another new CRJ-900, the first new aircraft to arrive into the country for more than 20 years, as well as 3 CRJ-200s and 2 737-300s (formerly of United Airlines.) Arik took delivery of the new CRJ-900 on June 14, 2006 and will use it to fly domestic routes throughout Nigeria and the African continent. I painted this beautiful livery from a single photograph I found on Airliners.net. For this as with all of the aircraft I paint, I paid attention to detail and realism as much as possible and generated this repaint with sharply painted details. This is a complete install; model and air files included. Default CRJ panel included also. Sounds are default Lear45.

Monarch Airlines Airbus A330-243 NC (G-EOMA)

File Description:
I am proud to present the Project Opensky A330-200 in the stately NC livery of Monarch Airlines. Monarch is based in Luton, England and is one of the UK's largest charter airlines, servicing destinations in Europe, the United States, the Caribbean and Africa. It also operates regular scheduled service to several destinations. Its operates princially out of Birmingham, Luton, Gatwick and Manchester. Monarch operates 2 A330-200's. This one is registration G-EOMA. The other Monarch A332 wears registration G-SMAN. I paid attention to detail and realism as much as my talents allow and generated this repaint with sharply painted details. This is a complete install; the Project Opensky updated version 2004.8.3 A330 model and air files are included. Uses default panel and sounds. This repaint is dedicated to Ben Hickford.

USA3000 Airbus A320-214 'Cancun' (N270AV)

File Description:
I am proud to present this Project Airbus A320-214, registration N270AV, of USA3000 Airlines. USA3000 is a FAA Part 121 Air Carrier based in Newton Square, Pennsylvania created out of the idea for the travel company Apple Vacations to have its own airline. Although it does operate scheduled flights, USA3000 is principally a (vacation) charter airline. The USA3000 fleet comprises exclusively the A320. This is one of the current fleet of 10 A320's operated by USA3000. This aircraft appropriately bears the name 'Cancun', as she and the rest of the USA3000 fleet regularly dominate the international gates at MMUN. The textures in this repaint are 32-bit. This is a complete install; Project Airbus A320 CFM model and air files included. Uses default 737 panel and sounds.

P-38L Lightning "Ruff Stuff" N79123

File Description:
This is a repaint only for the SkyUnlimited P-38L Lightning. This airplane, owned by Ron Fagen, just finished an extensive rebuild by Fagen's Warhawks Inc. of Granite Falls, Minnesota and became the fourth currently flying P-38 in the world. Making its first air show appearance at EAA Airventure 2007, the aircraft was completed in the markings of Norb Ruff's P-38G "Ruff Stuff". Norb Ruff, a Wisconsin native, completed 50 combat missions in the original "Ruff Stuff" during WWII, based in the south Pacific, operating with the 80th FS, 8th FG, "The Headhunters". This repaint replicates a wide assortment of details, from a full set of factory stencils to inspection stickers on every removable panel, hand painted nose art and more, matching the real example in nearly every way possible.

This update package presumes the presence of version 1.1 of the Starliner. What does this update do? - New aircraft.cfg and L1649A.air for improved flight dynamics, especially takeoff and landing. - New panel files for modified gauges and basic VC layout. - Three VC texture files - New model file Installation (1) Make a backup copy of your existing "Flight Simulator 9\Lockheed_1649A" folder. (2) Extract the version 1.1a Update files to a separate temporary folder. (3) Copy the files to the required locations, overwriting or adding to the originals. The folder VNConnie1649A has all the necessary files so you should delete the current VNConnie1649A folder first.
