Seven African Airports (Default)

File Description:
FS2004 modified stock airports for: Lagos (DNMM), Accra (DGAA), New Kaduna (DNKA), Abuja (DNAA), Port Harcourt (DNPO), Owerri (DN0C), and Luanda (FNLU). These are not based on real charts, they are merely to add more gates and increase the traffic flow for those of us with very large AI traffic databases. All of these airports have added ILS frequencies, as well as fully lit taxiways for easier navigation after dark. These AFCAD's were done with an aeu7 (Airport Environment Upgrade) equipped FS, so they work best with that addon which is available here on Avsim.

The .AIR file had a line modified (using William Roth's "AirEd" program), making the MD-83 flyable in FS2004 or FS2002. Also, the max. speed value to lower the gear is corrected to 220 knots (original setting was 120 kts). Includes: .AIR files for FS2004 and FS2002 MD-83, checklists and aircraft specifications. Really worth having, specially if you want to fly the default MD-83.

Default Piper Cherokee Fix

File Description:
A fix for the default AI Piper Cherokee. After watching some AI traffic I noticed that the default Piper tends to drop like a stone on landing - so I have tweaked the supplied flight dynamics file to correct that. I have tested it and the default Piper will now land alot more realistically when used as AI traffic. No model supplied, for FS2004 only!
