This folder contains a repaint for the Carenado ATR 42-500 in the colors of N42386 of United Express. Built in 1990 as a ATR42-500 with serial #200, N42386 was originally delivered to Bar Air, but sold to Expressjet Airlines in 1991, both operating for Continental Connection. In 2004 it was sold to Cape Air, who used it for island hopping around Guam, first in Continetal and later in United Express colors. The service stopped in 2018. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the white textures supplied by Carenado.

The team has done a excellent job creating this bird! This texture represents a F6F-3 white 5/BuNo 40315 of Lt Hollis 'Holly' Hills, VF-32, USS Langley, 30 April 1944. Please read the included read me for historical information on the plane and pilot. I have included optional Aircraft CFG entries to allow you to use these textures on the Drop Tank model.

This is an interesting livery as it marked the 20th anniversary of partnership between jetBlue and Dunkin' Donuts
The white wings from my add-on are slightly modified but are from Stefan Bree's "FS2004/FSX Avion Express Malta opb. Eurowings Airbus A320-214 (9H-MLO)" add-on from Flightsim, so credits to him too!!!

This is a repaint for the payware Aerosoft F-16 depicting Holoman AFB F-16C 88-0412 in the special '49 WG Tutor Et Ultor' paint scheme. I pulled out all the stops for this repaint and gave it the kind of attention to detail a CO's jet should get!
To give these textures a nice "HD/Sharp" look, I painted them in 2048 resolution, reduced them (w sharpening) to Aerosoft's "native" 1024 resolution, then saved them with DXT5 and no mip maps. For those of you with high-end systems, I've also included those 2048 textures for you to try!
You'll notice that the all grey markings/decals from nose to tail have been repainted and have a "sharp" look to them now. I also custom painted the P&W engine, pilot, ejection seat, and weapons textures as well. AND, I created special "Specular" files to give the tail surfaces that "high gloss paint" look like the real jet has!

File Description:
The latest addition to the series of MelJet aircraft -777-200ER V2. This highly authentic rendition of the Boeing 777 has many exciting features including "Maintenance Mode", where you can open the engines and look inside, deploy the Ram Air Turbine, open the cockpit window, open the gear bay doors while on the ground - folding wings - flexing wings - full animations - dynamic shine - reflective surfaces - and tons more!. The repaint includes custom vitual cabin textures with each class being completly retextured to match British Airways 3 class interior. My most detailed and accurate work yet!, complete photorealistic textures to give the best possible look as possible both outside and in. (Mip maps are also removed to take the blurry effect away). Sorry about the large file..it's the big texture files..takes longer to download but you get superior quality!.

File Description:
Mark-II Edition. This South African Airlines livery is the second and final version. Thanks to the peoples (POSKY members and E-Mails) who advise me about problems on my previous version. This great paint is now better than ever. I've carefully respected the details, colours and ID numbers. Some improvements have been done to the real life scheme. Only the connoisseurs will notice what I'm talking about. The results... a true great paint. Even professional pilots do like very much this paint! Requested by Ian du Plessi. 100% of the external textures have been repainted and revised from scratch. Due to a lack of realism and precison I've revised entirely the night effects from scratch. I've also haded some new night effects. The realism is now more stunning than ever. I've partialy revised the interior of the passengers cockpit. Rugs and seats are now more realistic.

File Description:
This folder contains a repaint for the A2A/Shockwave Wings of Power P-47D-30 Thunderbolt, representing 44-90447, an aircraft that flew with the NJ National Guard and the Yugoslav Air Force, before returning to the US in a sorry state. She was restored to airworthy status in Shafter, CA, and had her first flight in june 1993. At present, she is with the American Airpower Museum in Farmingdale, NY, and flies from Republic Airfield, home of the original Republic factories where she was built. Repaint for FS9 by Jan Kees Blom, based on a repaint kit by John Terrell. I have included a thumbnail for use in FSX. Although the model is for FS9 only, it works reasonably well in FSX too.

This file contains alternative textures for the A2A/WWII Fighters payware Spitfire Mk.Ia. This repaint depicts the Spitfire Mk.IIa flown by William R. Dunn from RAF 71nd (Eagle) Squadron in August 1941. William Dunn was the first American Ace of WWII, even before the USA had entered the war. RAF 71nd Eagle squadron was one of the 3 squadrons in the RAF which were manned by American volunteers. For this repaint the excellent paintkit from the incredible John 'Bomber_12th' Terrell was used as base.
