File Description:
A Bf109E-1, W.Nr. 4048 Yellow 7 of 3/JGr.101 based at Hoya in Nordrhein-Westphalia. JGr.101 carried unusual codes which were simply an outline in the staffel colour. This aircraft carries the staffel's running fox emblem on the cowling and a name, Schlangenfuß! (Snakefoot!), under the port windscreen. The balkenkreuzen are typical of a pre-war aircraft, so it should make quite an interesting scheme. TEXTURES only. Included are textures for a non-Swastika version. Repaint for the Shockwave (A2) Messerschmitt BF 109 for FSX. The aircraft works without issues in P3D. Just copy aircraft the installation folder from FSX to the P3D Simobjects folder.

Swiss Fliegerkompanie early 1940. Switzerland went to great lengths to ensufe aircraft were easily identified in the air. Large red and white stripes and white cowling all but covered the original RLM79/65 scheme. Bf-109E-3 "J-371", Werk.Nr. 2352. TEXTURES only. Included are textures for a non-Swastika version. BF 109 E4, Major Helmut Wick flew this BfE-4 while assigned to 3./JG 2 (Richthofen) at Cherbourg-West, France in October 1940. 45 white victory bars are apinted on the rudder. Wick scored 56 kills before he was shot down over the English Channel on 28 November 1940. TEXTURES only. Included are textures for a non-Swastika version. Repaint for the Shockwave (A2) Messerschmitt BF 109 for FSX. The aircraft works without issues in P3D. Just copy aircraft the installation folder from FSX to the P3D Simobjects folder.

Messerschmitt Me 109 E-4 WNr. 1480 von Oberleutnant Fritz von Werra, Gruppen-Adjudant II./JG3 Udet. Paint before crashlanding at Marsden, Kent UK during his 10th sortie of England. Franz von Werra - fighter pilot for the German Luftwaffe during World War II, gentleman, favourite of the Nazi media, and the only German ever to escape British captivity. During the mid-50's, the spectacular escape to Canada and the USA was made into a film with Hardy Kruger in the leading role. Once again, von Werra became an important role model for young Germans: a courageous man who fends for himself to fight for his own well being - but not on behalf of National Socialistic ideas. In 1941, von Werra lost his life in a mysterious crash. Numerous rumours regarding this incident, as well as his origins - for he was Swiss - developed. Using the feature film "The One that Got Away" as the starting point, film director Werner Schweizer, together with Hardy Krüger, follows the traces of this historical anti type. TEXTURES only.
