Re-uploaded Republic P-47-D-2-RA,"Beetle". The plane was lost when the pilot, Lt. William e.Roach, thinking he was over southern England, mistakenly landed at Caen, France on 7 November 1943. "Beetle" was examined and tested by the Germans. The camouflage scheme ,nose art and fuselage codes were left intact, but the national markings were replaced by oversized German crosses. The Jug also received a red cowl.
This package only contains the red Luftwaffe test repaint. For the original and yellow Luftwaffe test repaints, search for wopp47bee.zip. Requires prior purchase/installation of Wings of Power P-47 Thunderbolt pack available at www.a2asimulations.com

Re-uploaded Wings Of Power P-47D Thunderbolt Mk.1s HD154, #18 42-26190, No 73 OTU, Fayid, Egypt, 1944. Most of the 240 Thunderbolt Is and approximately 600 Thunderbolt IIs supplied to the RAF through Lend-Lease arrangements in 1944-45 were shipped directly to India, where the type entered service in August 1944. Replacing Hurricanes in a dozen squadrons, the Thunderbolt saw extensive action over Burma in the final stages of the war. All replacement pilots for the Thunderbolt squadrons on active service were trained by No 73 OTU at Fayid in the Suez Canal Zone, Egypt, the aircraft of this unit sporting a distinctive "Skull-in-Ace-of-Spades" marking.Requires prior purchase/installation of Wings of Power P-47 Thunderbolt pack available at www.a2asimulations.com

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A Spitfire in the colors of Spitfire Mk IIa P7849 QV-J, which was flown by Flt Lt Walter Lawson of 19 Squadron, based in Fowlmere in june 1941. He used this aircraft to shoot down two Me109's. The aircraft was later converted to a Mk.V and flew with the USAAF. Flt Lt Lawson disappeared during a mission to Rotterdam in August 1942 Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

This folder contains a second repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D-5-NA 44-13905 KI-Y "Joe", the aircraft assigned to 1st Lt William J. McGee ('Maggie') of Peekskill, New York. He flew with the 55th FS, 20th FG, based in Kingscliffe, UK from 28/10/1944 until the 20 February, when he was shot down over Germany and made prisoner. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D-15-NA 44-14140 CY-O "Wings o'Morning", one of the aircraft flown by Captain Robert E. Welch of the 343rd FS/ 55th FG. During his tour with the 55th FG, he claimed 7 german aircraft destroyed in the air and 11 on the ground, hence the 18 victory markings on the nose. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A WoP3 P-51D Mustang, in the colors of P-51D-15-NA 44-1587 SX-U "Stasia II", which was assigned to Capt Anthony R Rosatone of the 352nd FS/ 353rd FG, based in Raydon UK.Capt. Rosatone was lost in this aircraft on 18 January 1945 during the Ardennes offensive. The crash site has never been found and Capt. Rosatone is therefore still officially MIA.
Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the A2A paintkit.

This folder contains a repaint for the A2A North American T-6 Texan/Harvard in the colors of F-AZBE, an AT-6C c/n 88-13399, serial 41-33726. It went to the RAF as EX753 and in 1953 to the Belgian Air Force as H-210. It was armed and used in the Belgian Congo, where it was shot down near the bridge of Inkisi on 17 July 1960. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by A2A.
