| French Air Force Fouga Magister EAM 09.102 Dijon 1994 |

A repaint of the magnificent freeware Fouga Magister by A. Chancel, J-P Langer, J-P Bourgeois, B. Dube and M. Hardouin which can be downloaded from http://restauravia.com. The aircraft is a true "must" for any FS addict and comes complete with a thorough documentation both in French and in English. This is yet another Dijon aircraft; it is depicted this time near the end of its service life, as flown by EAM 09.102 - as the Communication Flight of BA 102 was then named - during 1994. The fuselage roundels no longer have their usual yellow outer rings, service markings are rather derelict, and despite the painter's efforts the aircraft still shows signs of its earlier assignment with GE 315 in Cognac. Two sets of textures are included featuring two different levels of shine, so you can install whichever you prefer according to your own taste. An alternative layout for the rear 2D panel is provided too. See detailed instructions in the ReadMe.txt.

File Description:
Cache Creek is a small village of around 1,000 folks on the eastern side of the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, around 70 miles northeast of Pemberton and 40 miles west of Kamloops. The village is in a valley bottom and recently suffered from severe flooding due to the overflow of the river. The airfield is high above the town, with a runway aligned 15-33 and 3,280 feet of asphalt, without runway or taxiway lighting; hence "airfield" as opposed to "airport". I have posted it as Cache Creek CAZ5, but I suggest that you revise the name to perhaps "BC airfields" and just load my future airfield posts into the same scenery and texture folders to avoid the inevitable doubling up of common textures etc. Plus that way you will have just one FS9 library post to do and new airfields will not need yet another posting. This airport has been undergoing frequent change ever since I first landed there in 2005. Fortunately, the core buildings have remained essentially the same, but runways have come and some have gone.
I got very close to releasing a 2016 version, but held back for more data. Then I looked again this year and discovered another runway gone, new ones in construction etc.
So, what I have decided to release is basically as up to date as I can make it, using Google Earth to judge the state of things in March 2018, and Charts from August 18th 2018. A lot of Taxiway labelling has changed yet again, and I dare say I've missed some of the taxi signs. One taxiway isn't on the March image, but is on the chart, so I've added it as best I can.
I think this will always be a work in progress.
