Destinations include many airbases throughout the New England area as well as bases in Canada, Iceland, UK, the Persian Gulf, Japan and many other locales. | Fokker_DVI |
|
File Description:
This model of the Fokker DVI was produced for Ilan Pappinis' Microflight flight simulator. The Fokker D6 is an interesting member of the WWI Fokker stable. It incorporated elements of the Dr1 airframe with the new thick Fokker wing that was made famous by the DVII. Unfortunately, it was introduced and built alongside the DVII and was eclipsed by the DVII. Pilots felt that perhaps they were being "fobbed off" in a sense if their units were asked to fly them. By all reports it was a reasonably good fighter.
