This folder contains a repaint for the Douglas C-54 / DC-4 by Flight Replicas. It shows Douglas DC-4 VH-EDM of Qantas Empire Airways. This aircraft was built new for Western Airlines and entered onto the United States Aircraft Register as NC10203 - April 1946
It was sold to Australian National Airways in 1947 and entered onto the Australian Aircraft Register as VH-ANG. The aircraft was named 'Palana' (star).
It was sold to British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines in 1948 and reregistered as VH-BPD and renamed 'Discovery'. It was sold to Qantas Empire Airways in 1949, reregistered VH-EBM and renamed 'Philippine Trader'. It operated the inaugural Sydney - Darwin - Labuan - Hong Kong service as EM202 in June 1949
It was chartered by T.E.A.L. to operate the Melbourne - Christchurch (Harwood) - Melbourne service - June 29, 1951.
The aircraft suffered major nose damage whilst landing at Sydney (Kingsford Smith) on November 08, 1951, when the nose wheel collapsed during the landing roll, but it was repaired and returned to service.
It was sold to Zantop Air Transport Inc, Detroit, becoming N600Z in November 1959. It then went to Trans Mediterranean Airways of Lebanon in 1962 as OD-AEC. It crashed into the sea off Brindisi, Italy shortly after take-off on July 09, 1962, killing all six people on board. It first flew as N9236H with Western newspapers United, before going to Amphibian Airways of new Zealand, becoming ZK-BAY. It was mainly used for flights from Invercargill to Stewart Island. It was taken over by Tourist Air Travel in Auckland in 1961, and continued with Mount Cook Airlines in 1968, before crashing and sinking in Auckland Harbor in 1970. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom.

File Description:
RAF Coleby Grange was a Royal Air Force station situated alongside the western edge of the A15 on open heathland between the villages of Coleby and Nocton Heath and lying 7.4 mi (11.9 km) due south of the county town Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England.
Opened in 1939 and operated as a fighter and night fighter airfield during World War II, it was occupied at various times by UK, US, Canadian and Polish fighter squadrons, the station briefly switched to a training role post-war before being placed on a care and maintenance basis.

Some aircraft reach the end of their useful lifetime and are scrapped at Mojave, while others are refurbished and returned to active service.You can see it miles away from the airport in flight simulator 2004.Its really realistic the airplanes are static airliners there not AI traffic, theres more than 50 planes..

File Description:
KLM FAIB 747 Service Pack 2/27/2019. This is a multi-file upgrade to my FAIB 742/743 releases for KLM and KLM Cargo. There was a global error I didn't pick up that affected all of my post-1975 paints for KLM on this run. There are 23 corrected textures for the FAIB 747-100/200/300 models, all are copy/overwrite. My apologies for having probably the worst month in painting I have had for 21 years in the hobby, but this completes the clean-up. Due to size, I am uploading in two separate FS9 and FSX parts. All FAIB aircraft and paint kits represented designed by Erez Weber, repaints by Michael Pearson.
