| ILS and GPS Approach Creator v1.0 for FS9 and FSX |

File Description:
This easy-to-use program allows the user to add an ILS and/or a GPS approach to any airport in FS9 or FSX. The user will be able to select the approach in the GPS unit, and request the approach from ATC. The ATC will then vector you to make an ILS or GPS approach. The AI will also be able to use the ILS approach, and you will hear them say so over the radio. The program was designed with the non-expert user in mind, and no familiarity with XML coding is assumed. The program supports up to four FS installations. The program needs to be run in conjunction with AFCAD (or a similar utility for FSX). You will also need the .NET Framework 2.0 and MSXML 4.0 installed on your computer. Tested with XP Home and Pro. | Van Halen Lear Jet 45 |

File Description:
This is a repaint of the default lear45 in fs2004 for the rock group Van Halen.
Two different repaints are included which are the red white and black scheme
and the early VH black and gold scheme. For a bit of history Eddie van Halen would
take black and white tape and stick it on his guitars in criss crossing lines over a red
strat guitar with a kramer neck which ended up as a symbol of the band,Probably got the idea
with the tape using it to hold guitar picks as you throw them out to the girls.
Now its all over a lear jet, I remember seeing one of their jets done like this for promotion.
The new collective album featuring 3 new songs is jewel cased in the red,white,black desighn and is out now.

FSX Mesh South America Project:
This terrain mesh file is a part of a whole project covering all the Continent of South America and some islands, divided in tiles identified in a map by its column (letters) and rows (numbers).
Those files were multi-LOD compiled from 90m SRTM2 source data, reprocessed with 3DEM to remove voids and spikes, providing a 76.4m (LOD9) horizontal resolution topography intended for use only in FSX updated with SP1.
Although not well documented, to improve performance, the updated FSX loads DEM files in threads and only the closer terrain (about 5 NM from the point of view) is rendered in high detail, while at far distances FSX shows up its default low resolution mesh, when there is not a third part terrain mesh compiled in all others intermediate level of details (multi-LOD).

In 1938 Imperial Airways (IA) and Qantas Empire Airlines (QEA) operated the extended Empire Air Mail Scheme (EAMS) between England and Australia using Short S.23 'C' Class "Empire" flying-boats. (Up to 1938 the EAMS service effectively terminated at Singapore).
This flight gives you the information needed to operate the time-tabled route together with the variations that often applied between Southampton and Alexandria.
"EAMS 1938" is an update to the original London to Sydney Flight created and uploaded in 2005.
This new version has been made possible by additional route details discovered in Brian Cassidy's book "Flying Empires" (1996) and provides for a more accurate representation than did the original. The package contains PDF files for the documented info, some JPG files = one quite rare (the plan for the Groote Eylandt base) - and the BGL files for all the stopping locations.

Easterwood College Station Texas Airport for FSX. Several improvements have been made to the default airport. The default terminal building has been replaced with one created in FSDS; aircraft gates have been correctly coded using Airport Design Editor 1.70.6042; a new airport vehicle network has been built to prevent airport vehicles from entering the taxiways; extra fuel trucks have been added throughout the airport; the tower view has been changed to display from the roof of the control tower; all taxiway signs are correctly placed and all taxiway designators are correctly named; there is the option to open all runways to AI traffic; optionally, a set of GA flight plans is included using all default FSX aircraft to liven up the GA area; and Jim Dhaenen's excellent ramp lights are also included. Please refer to the README.txt file to insure proper installation of all files.

Azerbaijan Airlines is one of dozens and dozens of airlines formed from the fall of the "Iron Curtain" after the break up of the Soviet Union. Initially operating with Russian equipment, the airline had already added 727-200s for some of it's Western European services by 1998. Still, the Russian metal was going strong, with the Yak 40, Tu-154M, and Tu-134A still active in the fleet. Unlike most post-Soviet start-ups, the airline is alive and well, operating modern aircraft like the 787 today. Included are repaints by Christian Gold for TCAI Tu-154M, SBAI Tu-134A, and the Maxc-Sim YAK-40. The 727-200 is in the Avsim library as "aia_b727200_azal.zip".Flightplans by Vadim Stepanyuk. The Rockwell Aero Commander began life in 1948 and evolved through numerous models up to turboprop.
This is the 500S as used by NOAA, and has twin Lycoming piston engines and seats four passengers.
While it has been made for AI purposes it is actually a pleasant aircraft to fly so there is a link to a panel to allow you to gain some flying pleasure from it.
This has been modelled with Gmax v1.2 using a mininum number of polygons (1980 for the main model), and is fully animated - landing gear, ailerons, flaps, elevators and rudder. It has 5 LOD models and a single texture set and is extremely frame rate friendly.
It is designed specifically to enhance the AI aircraft population and to use with the marvellous GA-Traffic program by Markus Brunner .
Three textures and a paintkit are included.

E-tailer Mercado Libre secures dedicated cargo capacity
Following in the footsteps of Amazon, Latin-American e-tailer Mercado Libre is securing dedicated cargo capacity from third party carriers in order to speed up deliveries to their customers. Previously, Mercado Libre solely relied on belly-cargo with scheduled carriers.
The company has founded logistic platform Meli Air, which will contract other carriers to carry out the operations. The first airline that has been contracted is Brazilian carrier Sideral Linhas Aéreas, which will operate four of their B737-400SFs for Meli Air in Brazil A first one, PR-SDM, has now been painted in a bright Mercado Livre-livery.
