Update! New version fixes WideViewAspect setting not working in the earlier version. It also lets you see the last profile that was applied. Please uninstall the earlier version, and then install this.
FSX Settings Editor lets you create fsx.cfg profiles for different scenarios which you can quickly apply to your fsx.cfg file. Create different settings profiles and switch between them quicker than ever before. Some of the scenarios for which profiles can be created:
- Flying Rural Areas with Light GA Aircraft (Graphics can be set High)
- Flying Dense Urban Areas (Graphics can be lowered to improve FPS)
- Different profiles for flying VFR, IFR, max weather, min weather max terrain etc
- Testing out different settings to achieve max FPS with acceptable eye-candy
I created this tool to help me quickly change my FSX settings to the type of flight I intend to perform. Manually editing the fsx.cfg file, keeping separate copies of fsx.cfg file for different scenarios, or using the limited FSX save config functionality proved cumbersome and time-consuming.
Please backup your fsx.cfg before using this tool. Comments, issues, questions or suggestions are welcome.

File Description:
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) B747-367 Megatop Jumbo, AP-BFY, titled "Ziarat - The City of Flowers". This aircraft, delivered to PIA in 1999, was previously B-HOM for Cathay Pacific Airways. Contains photoreal tail, accurately placed titles and door surround repainted to match the actual airplane. Engines repainted with large yellow stickers on the left side of the casing to match the actual airplane. Being a later model 747, unlike PIA's other 747s, AP-BFY is one without the HF wingtip antennas and a different style wing root and the relevant model has been included. Repainted on the stunning Project Opensky 747v4 Advanced model, with all updates till March 2010. Contains ground service vehicles, stairs,tow truck, catering trucks, luggage loaders and containers painted in standard PIA colors. Luggage containers specially repainted to give a more realistic look. Registration of the aircraft painted on the bottom of the left wing, as on the real airplane. Panel updated to include utility gauge and tow truck gauge. Updated model and fde. Complete pack,requires no external downloads. Textures in high quality 32 bit format to conserve quality. FS2004/FSX PIA Boeing 747-367, registatrion AP-BFW. Pakistan International Airlines B747-367 Megatop Jumbo, AP-BFW, displaying the newly designed livery by PIA. This livery has not officially been unveiled, and according to sources there will be some modifications to it. This aircraft now wears two stripes, one golden and one dark green extending all the way to the tail. The wavy flag style has been enlarged and placed accurately on the tail from real photos. The word 'PAKISTAN' is painted on the belly of the aircraft. Towards the rear, the word Pakistan is written in thin Urdu letters as well. Engines repainted to give a shiny metallic look. Repainted on the Project Open Sky 747v4 Advanced model with all updates for FS2004 and FSX. Contains ground service vehicles, stairs, tow truck, catering trucks, luggage loaders and containers painted in standard PIA colors. Luggage containers specially repainted to give a more realistic look. Registration of the aircraft painted on the bottom of the left wing, as on the real airplane. SkyHigh Audio Simulations is proud to present our new FSX Concorde Sound Package! This add-on will hopefully bring Concorde back to life since the real thing no longer flies and I do not think an Olympus 593 turbojet engine has run since 2003. So to achieve this goal, I have worked to the bone to fine tune this sound and add as many features as possible. The main new feature of this sound is XML Gauge Sound technology, never seen before in a SkyHigh sound release, or on any sound package release for that matter. The XML gauge sounds include a brake sound, sonic boom sound effect, as well as a switch panel that plays various cabin announcements. 3D Sound Cone Technology has of course, been extensively used in this release, as with our other FSX sound releases. You can even hear the ground trembling from the noise when Concorde flies by. I could go for days explaining the features of these sounds but I'd like for you to hear them for yourself. So please give this download a go if you want to bring Concorde back to life with a very realistic sounding Concorde sound package for FSX! AFCAD for Portland International Airport (KPDX) by Rojeet Singh/sunwestdesigns. This AFCAD includes all gates, military, G/A and cargo parking as close to real as it can get. All commercial gates are accurate as well as those for commuter/regional aircraft. Once you install this AFCAD, the airlines that should show up here (if you have the AI traffic installed) include; Horizon, Alaska, Southwest, Delta, American, Northwest, Mexicana, Continental, America West, United, Air Canada and quite a few regional carriers. For military AI fans, I've made the military ramps accurate as well. There is parking for ANG heavies, USAF C-130's as well as for up to 16 fighter aircraft.

for the Just Flight/FS Insider freeware
Cessna 152 for FSX, which you must have
previously installed. If you want to paint it,
there are some vertical and horizontal panel
seams already in place that line up precisely
with each other from texture to texture,
so they can serve as accurate reference
points for quick and easy repaint planning
and painting. Used as a starting point for
a recent repaint, it seemed a waste to just
delete them after finishing, so I offer them
up to anyone who wants to mess around with them.
Have fun! Flies nicely in FSX-SP2.

Here it is! The version 3 (and I think the final version) of my 737NG CFM56-7B engine soundpack. Strongly recommended to use with PMDG 737 but you can use with any other plane you like, although you may miss some sounds such as cockpit environment and packs because PMDG provides such sounds by gauges.
Improved idle sound, amazing roar when full power, changed start up sound (sorry Emil), but more than anything the breathtaking spool up that everyone loves in CFM56-7B engines. I reeeeally hope you like it! **TOTALLY COMPATIBLE WITH FSX AND ANY OTHER VERSION IS NEEDED**. Last version had almost 5000 downloads in less than 3 mounths.

KLM FAIB 747 Service Pack 2/27/2019. This is a multi-file upgrade to my FAIB 742/743 releases for KLM and KLM Cargo. There was a global error I didn't pick up that affected all of my post-1975 paints for KLM on this run. There are 23 corrected textures for the FAIB 747-100/200/300 models, all are copy/overwrite. My apologies for having probably the worst month in painting I have had for 21 years in the hobby, but this completes the clean-up. Due to size, I am uploading in two separate FS9 and FSX parts. All FAIB aircraft and paint kits represented designed by Erez Weber, repaints by Michael Pearson.

File Description:
Formula One team owner and incorrigible BAC One-Eleven collector European Aviation bought G-AVMN in June, 1993. For the next few years it bounced between EAC, Air Belfast and Air Bristol, finally ending up with AB Airlines in these colours by May, 1997. AB used it up to the time they went bust in 1999, after which the plane was passed along to the Bournemouth Air Museum, where it remains today.
Textures only for the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby's DM Flight Sim (available at http://www.dmflightsim.co.uk). The fuselage, engines and tail unit have been rendered in 32-bit textures, with DXT3s used elsewhere. All dreaded mip-maps have been dispatched with extreme prejudice.

File Description:
Ordered as a series 511EY for B.K.S. Air Transport this aircraft was re-assigned on the line as a 517FE for Bahamas Airways. After just over a year in service it was returned to the UK two days after Bahamas Airways was liquidated. Snapped up by Court Line and passed onto LIAT in Antigua it spent a little over a year sunning itself before returning in March 1974 to a somewhat chillier Luton taking up the new identitiy of G-AZEB with the main Court Line fleet.
Requires the BAC One-Eleven 500 model by David Maltby.
Contains extra texture bitmaps for optional coloured wings, and also a set to give the option on the previously published Yellow LIAT
