| FS2004 Scenery Design – Airport Beacon Towers, a Rwy12 Object Placer Library |

File Description:
For users of Rwy12 Object Placer only. The package allows the user to place
6 beacon towers of different sizes, with or without beacons and strobes,
anywhere in FS2004. One tower was made in high-resolution and the others
are low-polygon for friendly frame-rate, all very superior to the default
FS airport beacon towers. The towers were originally uploaded in XML
format (airport_beacon_towers.zip - 24th August 2005) and have been repacked

Covers the area between St. George, Utah and Mesquite, Nevada. To the north of St. George
the Pine Valley Mountains with their foothills of scenic red sandstone loom over the city.
St. George Municipal Airport (KSGU) is mostly used for general aviation but is also served by SkyWest Airlines
on behalf of Delta Connection. Because of it's location on a mesa this airport can't be expanded and so a new
airport is currently being built southeast of the city at the site of an abandoned airfield. The opening
is expected in 2011. To the south of the city make sure, you don't miss the Virgin River Gorge where the
Virgin River winds thru a long winding canyon in the transition zone between the red rocks of southern Utahs
Colorado Plateau and Nevadas Mojave Desert. Shortly afterwards you reach Mesquite which is situated just
west of the Arizona stateline. Like nearly all Nevada cities near the stateline Mesquite is home to several
Casinos. Mesquite Airport (67L) lies just north of the city.

This library adds a large number of US Air Force Alert hangars used for fighter planes in the late 1950's and 1960's to the 48 custom made FS2004 military style hangars, buildings, and objects from various locations in Vol 1 and 2. Many still exist on current bases. 3 types of Alert hangars are modelled in the new addition: Butler hangars, Strobel and Salzman, and Luria, all in open and closed versions. The "new" airport built in the late 50's is modelled here
with the iconic hotel/ control tower complex, the new terminals and air cargo center, and some custom built hangars for
Caribair and others. A flight line for the F-86's stationed there is provided. A few custom built high rises are tossed in.
There isn't much eye candy included, so you can add your own! Approaches are designed on old Jeppeson charts of the period.
The usual additional libraries required. Some AI thrown in, too. Recommend CalClassic AI.

This is a re-upload of a package that was corrupted during the crash of the AVSIM library. The Maze is the wildest and least accessible district of Canyonlands National Park. It is a perplexing jumble of canyons that has been described as a '30 sq miles puzzle in sandstone'. The Maze covers the area west of the Green River and north of the Colorado River. Getting to most locations requires multiple hours of 4WD road driving. Hiking trails usually require multi day backpack trips.
Too strenous? Let's go flying! Checking out the area from an eagles perspective is certainly a stunning experience. The colors are awesome and the landforms are of breathtaking beauty. It covers the area southwest and including the confluence of the Colorado and Green Rivers. From there you can fly down Cataract Canyon which is famed for its premium whitewater rafting oportunities. Or explore the Maze (the area west of the Green and north of the Colorado River) with it's labyrinth of canyons and colorful sandstone formations. To explore this region depart from Eagle County Regional Airport (KEGE) which is a popular regional airport used in winter to transport skiers to nearby Vail. Northwest of the airport you can see the pit gypsum mine of American Gypsum which produces a variety of wallboard products. When you fly to the west and along the Eagle River, you soon pass its confluence with the Colorado River. Further west you can fly along Glennwood Canyon and finally reach Glennwood Springs where the Colorado meets the Roaring Fork River. Here you can turn south and fly direct Glenwood Springs Airport (KGWS) which lies south of the city. This scenery brings you another 3.500 sq km of beautiful Colorado in 4.7m/pix quality.

This is a Photo Real Scenery redesign for the FSX Default KHOU airport using the latest version of ADE (v01.50.11) & SBuilderX scenery design tool.
I added more airport buildings and Photo Real ground textures to the default KHOU scenery to give the airport a more realistic feeling. I constructed the new (Y Shaped) main Central Concourse building, the main parking garage, and added the original 1940 terminal building (located next to runway 17/35). I have also added several warehouse buildings, real gate assignments, and several other little scenery enhancements. The runways and airport aprons are aligned to match Google & Yahoo satellite imagery. An optional crossing runways AFCAD file is included for those who want to have all 4 runways active.

This is the most complex, complicated scenery I have attempted. Some success with KGRB Green
Bay's transparent windows and interiors plus the photoreal attempt with Lambeau Field encouraged me to try a large European scenery. This scenery
is ELLX Luxembourg International Airport, headquarters for CargoLux Airlines and its large fleet of Boeing 747-8Fs and Luxair,
the national air service of Luxembourg. I have modeled transparent windows for terminals with detailed interior seating and
shops, the large unique Cargolux maintenance hangar, the air cargo terminal, control tower, radar domes,and many custom made
hangars and buildings. AI textures and flight plans provided for the air rescue based at ELLX. Some assembly required
(i.e. other downloads for some buildings, objects, AI aircraft to show up.)
