Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 5) Download

File Description:
Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-23 Flogger (Part 5). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model and texture package for this classic (and still-serving) Russian multi-role fighter. The MiG-23, with just over 5,000 built, was Russia's first production of a true multi-role aircraft with a beyond-visual-range air superiority role as its primary function. The aircraft was arguably the direct counterpart of the F-4 Phantom, although it carried about half of the ordnance load. Nevertheless, in capable hands and late versions, the Flogger has been and is a very potent adversary; having served in multiple conflicts in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. The MiG-23 entered service in 1970, was eventually operated by 43 countries, and is still in service in 14 of them. An original 8-LOD model brings this aircraft to the flightsim world. This package contains the MiG-23BN ground attack variant; with 10 models and 62 repaints. Original aircraft model, afterburner effects, flight dynamics, and textures by Michael Pearson. Please read included documentation for credits and disclaimers.

Thrust SSC Download

File Description:
Thrust SCC (speed of sound car) X-Plane 6.40 Originally developed for x-plane 5, now updated to 6.40. The whole idea of this vehicle is to break the sound barrier without taking off. In 1997 the British in a Richard Noble car driven by Andy Green set a new unlimited Land Speed Record and officially broke the sound barrier on land for the first time with a record speed of 763.035 (Mach 1.0175). Two runs were made. The first was 759.333 MPH, at Mach 1.015. The all-important backup run was made within the hour, at 766.609 MPH, which is Mach 1.020. A goal that many among us had thought unattainable has been reached. And now, if you want to set a new world unlimited land speed record, you're going to have to break the sound barrier first. For more on the LSR see my web page . http://members.rogers.com/appster.. This is a take off of the British car that did the job with the help of 2 F4 Phantom jet engines. Find a flat piece of land and this car can do as much as mach 1.4 or 1.6. The trick is to get stopped before you run out of real estate.

Royal Air Force Dassault Mirage IVK/S Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
Royal Air Force Dassault Mirage IVK/S. I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for Marcel Dassault's follow-on to the immensely successful Mirage III family. Built in 1959, this aircraft served for over 40 years in the roles of strategic nuclear deterrence and strategic reconnaisance. An original 7-LOD model pays homage to this aircraft in the flightsim world. This package is a speculative study, if you will, of the might-have-been progression of this aircraft. The RAF expressed interest in the Mirage IV in the 1960s, but re-engined with the Rolls-Royce Spey turbofan which powered their versions of the F-4 Phantom II. Additionally, exploration was made to use technology from the unsuccessful BAC TSR project for the RAF Mirage IV. This package represents two variants, the Mirage IVK, essentially the IVA with RR Spey engines; and the Mirage IVS, the more re-designed aircraft incorporating some of the BAC TSR technology. Ultimately, this proposed variant did not become reality. In addition to the RAF, Israel, India, and France expressed interest, so paints from all four countries are included. Loadouts are generous, covering heavy strategic bombing, electronic warfare, precision strike, and the original nuclear and recce configurations. In total, there are 32 models and 50 repaints in this package. Lastly, I am including layered Photoshop paint kits for all variants in this package. Original aircraft model, flight dynamics, some effects, and textures by Michael Pearson; tremendous amounts of help from Michael MacIntyre and Frank Safranek.

Royal Hellenic Air Force Supermarine Spitfire Collection Download

File Description:
This package includes all the Hellenic Spitfires expect the Spitfire pr Mk.XI witch appeared in one unit and pr Mk.XIII in three units. You can fly the spitfire mk.Vb/c, Spitfire mk.IXe LF/HF and Spitfire Mk.XVIe LF. Greece in 9/23/1938 ordered 12 Spitfires and 12 Anson. During the June of 1939 it was signed the order of 24 Spitfires which cost 9335 pounds each. When Hitler attacked to Poland, England used all the aircrafts that were under construction and of course the Greek were some of them. On 10/12/1943, the 336th Olympus Squadron received the first Spitfire and followed the 335th Tiger Squadron. The Spitfire mk.Vb/c replaced the Hurricane mk.IIb/c. When the two greek Squadrons were at North Africa, their Spitfires wore the , but when they moved to Italy, their Spitfires change to . The formal receival of them from Greece took place at Araxos AB LGRX on 11-14-1944. The war hadn’t finished yet and Hellas wasn’t free, so the Spitfires were used in battles for Milos’ and Crete‘s freedom. In the end of 1945, RHAF, now HAF, stoped being depended on RAF and the mk.Vb/c were given to Greece on 4/25/1946. In January of 1947 were delivered the Spitfires mk.IXe LF and HF (Low Flying and High Flying). The mk.Vb/c now were used in the new pilots’ training and a new Squadron was created because of the large number of the mk.IX. The name of the new Squadron was 337th Phantom Squadron . On the February of 1949, were delivered the new Spitfires mk.XVIe LF. At the end of their careers, the mk.IX and mk.XVI were used as advanced training aircrafts. Features: 4 models, 6 variations, realistic sounds, panel with mirror view, Virtual Cockpit VC, opening canopy, full moving parts, historical detailes, etc. www.fsgreece.tk

Eurofighter Typhoon Panel Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The panel has been developed for FSX Flight Simulator SP1 or SP2. It has also been tested with Microsoft Acceleration, but compatibility is not guaranteed by the author.
This panel has been designed according to a large number of technical documents, descriptions, and pictures out of the Internet. The design goal was to develop a panel and gauges as close as possible to the original aircraft. It was, however by far not possible to programming all the functions and displays, because of the complexity of the real Eurofighter panel, and also because of limitations in FSX.
However, I believe, that the panel with the MFD screen displays gives a good impression on how the real Eurofighter cockpit looks inside. The aircraft model, development by ALPHA/VIRTAVIA, has been used as the base for this panel development. The aim was to go with one model version only , the two seater air to air model. A number of parameter of the aircraft.cfg have been modified to achieve a best possible result of the flight dynamics for the model. It is up to the user to use any other model as this one, and use this panel for it.
For this package, panel and model, I decided to call it the X -Version which shall be seen as an experimental military test version, or if you like, a " Proof of Concept " version. So, you will see a neutral paint with just the Typhoon letters on the aircraft tail. This approach allows to go with deviations and differences to the current technical implementations for the cockpit displays and functions for the Eurofighter.
The panel includes gauges for the afterburner effects, sonic sound effect, callout sounds, weapon explosions effects, and a full functioning TCAS gauge (A future requirement for the Eurofighter), A2A fuel functions, target radar tracking functions and more. The panel has been developed for widescreen monitors only. No VC panel is part of this package.

This is not a load and fly package. Please take your time to read the included panel documentation carefully. Do not skip chapters because you may think, they are not important for you. For copyrights and credits please look at the documentation for this panel.
