| Fairchild 24 (VH-ALF) |

This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-ALF.This aircraft (c/n 339) was built with the USAAC serial of 42-32134, and was shipped as part of the Lend Lease program to the U.K. becoming FK330. In 1948 it was civilianized as G-AKJL. It was first registered in Australia in July, 1951. Interestingly, the site athttp://home.att.net/~jbaugher/1942_2.html states that it was returned to the USA in 1947. That being the case, did the USA state that they didn't want it, and return it to the U.K. again? If not, how then did it get to be registered in the the U.K. in 1948? Or maybe it WAS to have been returned but did not. Anyway, it was back at Lithgow, NSW in May 1973. At present, it is painted in a "war bird" livery, based at Wedderburn, NSW. Incidentaly, since this machine was an Argus I with the RAF it is extremely unlikely that it ever bore USAAF markings. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

The aircraft represented are the F-106A (590109) and F-106B (590161) used by the 329th FIS during 1961 & 1965 respectively. Textures are included for both FS9 and FSX. These textures are intended for use with the Alpha Simulations F-106 Delta Dart payware aircraft package. Repaint by Hank Essers.

This package depicts VFA-106 which is the United States Navy and United States Marine Corps east coast Hornet and Superhornet fleet replacement squadron. This squadron is used to train new and transitioning F/A-18 pilots and weapon systems operators. This package depicts VFA-106 operations at NAS Oceana as well as the detachments at NAS Key West. As a bonus, this package also depicts the F-5s of VFC-111 stationed at NAS Key West. File Description:
Highly detailed and hand painted repaint (dirty) of CoolSky's Super 80 in Aeromexico's newest, most recent livery (2006). Aeromexico operates different types of the Super 80 family ; the 82, 83 and 87, but at present time none of them are painted in the new 'Euro White' color scheme...yet. I used the fleet page of Aeromexico to align and position all layers to their authentic position. These textures are intended for use on the Flight1/CoolSky Super 80 and can be either processed using Flight1's Repaint Manager for FSX or installed manually. Fly safe, land safe!

File Description:
La Ronge (Barber Field) is situated approximately six and a half kilometers north of the town of La Ronge, Saskatchewan, Canada. The present La Ronge airport was constructed beginning in 1976, notably as the central base of operations for the Province of Saskatchewan's water bomber fleet. The airport is home to maintenance facilities and a tanker base of operation for a fleet of CL-215, CL-215T, Convair 580 and deHavilland (Grumman) Tracker water bombers. The airport is also a major base of operation for Transwest airlines, West Wind Aviation, Osprey Airways and other bush operators.
CYVC was constructed using GMAX and represents the airport as it was in the Summer of 2009. It includes custom models of all the buildings at the airport, runway signs, taxiway and runway lighting, hangars, terminal building, custom vehicles and the seasonal tanker operations base. CYVC includes custom tarmac and textures to replicate the retardant and oil stained tanker ramp.
