File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-AZL.This aircraft (c/n 38862) was built in 1941 and was supplied to the RAF, becoming EV798. After the war, it became G-AKCJ in Britain, and it was imported into Australia in 1956, becoming VH-AZL. The aircraft is still airworthy in 2015, and besed in Caboolture, Queensland. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

Cessna C337 (VH-DND)

File Description: Owned by Jeff Morgan of Karoonda, South Australia VH-DND was built in 1964 and was registered in Australia in 1965 where it served at Moorabbin with Nor' West Air Taxis of Carnarvon, WA. In August 1980 it sustained some damage and was de-registered, but was restored. repainted, reregistered and now lives at Jandakot airport.

Grumman Mallard (VH-TGA)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the freeware Grumman Mallard by Milton Shupe and LDR development. It shows VH-TGA, which was Mallard c/n J13 as used by Trans Australia Airlines in mid 1963 on the "Coralair Service". This airframe was constructed in late 1946 and delivered to Canada on 25-01-1947 as CF-FFG. By mid 1951 it was in Indonesia as PK-AKG with an offshoot of Shell Oil. It then moved to the Netherlands New Guinea register as JZ-POB in 1955. It eventually became VH-TGA in 1962 with East Coast Airlines followed by a transfer to Trans Australia Airlines in mid 1963 and used on the "Coralair Service". It was ferried into Auckland on 13-10-1963 and became ZK-CDV on the 15th for Utah-Williamson-Burnett at Invercargill. It still had some hydraulic problems as its nosewheel collapsed on 07-10-1964 at Invercargill. It was purchased in about 1969 by the Department of Internal Affairs and went to NAC in Christchurch for some refurbishment and a paint job before being cancelled on 21-02-1969 and marked up as VQ-FBC. This was for Air Pacific with whom it carried the name "Na Secala". It was withdrawn from use in Fiji on 04-10-1970 and cancelled from their register on 31-03-1971 for transfer to the US as N2442H the following day. It has soldiered on ever since; moving to Canada as C-GRZI for about a year in 1978 before returning to the US again. In June of 1993 it was sold to Steve Hamilton of Reno Nevada, who re-registered it as N2950 in March of 1998. It is still current. File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the freeware Grumman J2F 'Bad Duck'by Paul Domingue. It shows a Grumman J2F-5 VH-CAN, an imaginary paintscheme for an Australian registered Duck. As far as I know, no Grumman Ducks were ever registered in Australia, Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Paul Domingue. Fairchild 24 (VH-AVN)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-AVN Argus II, which was originally built as a UC-61 Forwarder and assigned USAAC serial 42-13578, but it actually went straight to the RAF under Lend Lease as EV806.After the war, it was civilianized in 1946 as G-AJKM and purchased by Kingsford Smith Aviation Services in 1953, becoming VH-AVN. It flew in the colors of this paint in 1955 from Adelaide. It later flew in NSW, before being exported to France and becoming F-AZCF. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.

Fairchild 24 (VH-ALF)

File Description: This folder contains a repaint for the Lionheart Fairchild 24, in the colors of VH-ALF.This aircraft (c/n 339) was built with the USAAC serial of 42-32134, and was shipped as part of the Lend Lease program to the U.K. becoming FK330. In 1948 it was civilianized as G-AKJL. It was first registered in Australia in July, 1951. Interestingly, the site athttp://home.att.net/~jbaugher/1942_2.html states that it was returned to the USA in 1947. That being the case, did the USA state that they didn't want it, and return it to the U.K. again? If not, how then did it get to be registered in the the U.K. in 1948? Or maybe it WAS to have been returned but did not. Anyway, it was back at Lithgow, NSW in May 1973. At present, it is painted in a "war bird" livery, based at Wedderburn, NSW. Incidentaly, since this machine was an Argus I with the RAF it is extremely unlikely that it ever bore USAAF markings. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Lionheart Creations.
