This folder contains a repaint for the Captain Sim Boeing 707 for FSX in the colors of N624RH, a Boeing 707-338C that flies with Omega Tankers since 2011. c/n 19624 was built in 1968 and first flew with Qantas as VH-EAD before being sold to the RAAF. It flew in this scheme until it was painted grey in 1998. It was retired in 2008, as the last 707 in RAAF service, and was sold to Omega Aviation in 2011, becoming N624RH. It is still in operation with Omega. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Captain Sim.

MBB / Eurocopter/ Airbus Helicopters Bo-105 by Günther Kraemer in Western Power VH-XRX paint scheme. Western Power is the State owned Electrical Utility of Western Australia, and uses this helicopter for infrastructure inspection and logistic/utility work. Due to limitations of texture map / model, this is a close representation and not an exact livery. Textures in 32 bit. Texture only. AgustaWestland AW139 in TOLL Ambulance Rescue VH-TJK paint scheme for the ICARO Team AW139. Textures Only, requires the ICARO Team AW139 Base Pack. Due to texture map / model limitations, this is a close representation of the livery and not an exact replica. Bell 206L LongRanger in WestPac LifeSaver VH-HRM paint scheme. Requires the Bell 206L LongRanger model by Alan Devins. This is a historical scheme used when WestPac Rescue was using Bell 206L's. Painted by request for @WESTPACDAN. This texture is uploaded as a 16 bit DXT3 BMP with no mipmaps for clarity, but all my repaints are also available in 32 bit to those who want them. | 1960 - Delivery flight of Viscount VH-RMK - Omaha to Melbourne, the long way round. |

File Description:
This FS2004 (FS9) flight replicates the route taken by Ansett-ANA's Viscount VH-RMK (previously Continental Airlines' N241V) when it was delivered - by an Ansett crew - from Omaha, Nebraska to Essendon airport, Melbourne.
The crew consisted of Cpt. C. Lister (in command), Cpt. D. Bull, First Officer J. Farrell, Navigator W. Kennedy and Flt. Engineer J. Howard.
The flight commenced on the morning of September 17th. 1960 and took 12 days, the route being across the continental United States to Chicago, thence to Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Scotland, United Kingdom, Italy, Greece, UAR, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Phillipines, Indonesia and finally Australia.
You may wonder why they took the "long way round" rather than ferry the aircraft across the Pacific route: very simply, the Viscount did not have the range required to safely transit the distances between the only refuelling points available down through the Pacific Ocean.

This folder contains a repaint for the De Havilland DH89 Dragon Rapide by Dave Garwood. It shows Dragon Rapide #6648 ZK-BCP of South Island Airways. This Dominie had served with the RNZAF as NZ524 before being civilianized as a Dragon Rapide in 1953 for South Island Airways. ZK-BCP was sold in Australia in 1975 becoming VH-BGP. It was once part of the ill-fated Wangaratta Airworld Museum.It is now owned by Bruce Ivers who is having it lovingly restored (as a long term project) at Croydon Aircraft
Co at Mandeville, near Gore on New Zealand's South Island. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the repaint kit by Dave Garwood.

| Qantas Airways Boeing 747-400 'V-Jet' |

File Description:
FS2004/2002 Boeing 747-400 Qants V-Jet livery by Ike Kalua. Registration VH-QVJ fictitious. It was fun watching mister Travolta fly in to SFO for the Aircraft History Gala at SFO recently and caught a glimpse of this at the end of the field that is now closed. The V-Jet is loud and is powerful. It climbs like a DC-9, cause it isn't heavily weighed down. This aircraft features reflective metal textures added to the engine cowls to simulate the look of polishhed Aluminum. like the kind you find on other private jets this size, and of course the V-Jet logo that made the aircraft so pretty!

Boeing 747-400 with GE Series engines for use with PMDG 747-400X.
This is a fix and update repaint of the Qantas VH-OEB (aka Phillip Island) with the "Come Play" livery (uploaded on 21 June 2010), using Paint.NET v3.5.4. This fix excludes mips to reduce the bluries and flips the Australian flag correctly on the right fuselage.
The original Qantas livery was painted and uploaded to AVSIM by Jathedar Singh on 25 Oct 2008, hence, only the left and right fuselage texture files were edited to include the aircraft's latest livery where Qantas supports Australia's World Cup bid - www.australia2018-2022.com.au.
Semi-transparent soccer balls on fuselage are not included.
