| ATL 98 Carvair Ansett |

File Description:
This Aviation Traders Carvair VH-INM was Carviar #21, the last DC-4 conversion, delivered in 1968. It is portrayed in early Ansett livery. The Ansett Carvairs were intended for use as freighters for the Australian airline from the outset. NM is still in flying condition today ('06) as 9J-PAA (Phoebus Apollo), in South Africa.

This texture set of Afro Continental Airways (Affretair) requires Manfred Jahn's L-1049G from Calclassics. c/n 4685 was built in 1957 for Qantas registration VH-EAU. Qantas cancelled the order and the aircraft was delivered to Varig as PP-VDF. Air Trans Africa (Affretair) operated the aircraft as VP-WAW under the name of Afro Continental Airways until 1974 when it was flown to FVCP and used as the clubhouse for Mashonaland Flying Club.

Solomon Airlines (of the Solomon Islands) is in the process of introducing an EMB170 to its schedule, the first of the type in this region. This will replace the various cross-hired Boeing 737s which have been in use. The flamboyantly painted aircraft, registered VH-SWO, is operated on Solomon's behalf by SkyAirWorld. Qantas DC-3 VH-EDC (Constructors No. 12874) was acquired by Qantas in May 1961 and disposed of on 15th November 1971. Based on repaint templates by Mark Beaumont and original textures by Jan Visser, this texture set in Qantas livery requires the base DC-3 package available from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org. Requires previous installation of OY-BPB C-47 package (BPB_FS9.ZIP). Installation instructions are included.

This folder contains a repaint for the DeHavilland DH98 Mosquito Mk.VI by Just Flight, in the colors of FB.Mk.40 A52-62 of No.5 OTU, RAAF, 1944. After WW2, it was sold to Titus Oates, becoming VH-KLG. He planned to participate in the London-Christchurch Air Race, but was forced to ditch the aircaft near Burma on the way to London due to navigational difficulties. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Just Flight.

This folder contains a repaint for the Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended, in the colors of VH-KZP (c/n 758), which was ordered new by Aeropelican in 1981. It was grounded in 2001 when Ansett, Aereopelican's holding company went bankrupt, It continued flying in the basic colors portrayed in this paint until 2003, when it was sold to Abu Dhabi to be used for spares. Repaint by Jan Kees Blom, based on the paintkit by Aerosoft.

This is a repaint (textures only) of Greg Pepper's and Tom Gibson's DC-6. You must have the original aircraft to use these textures. The original aircraft is available at www.Calclassic.com. This represents British Commonwealth Pacific Airlines DC-6 VH-BPF as it would have appeared circa 1950. This aircraft was ordered by SAS but was delivered new to BCPA in 1948. It served with BCPA until 1954. It was built in an overwater sleeper configuration.
