File Description: This is a fix for boats going funky in waves in P3D v4.x in my scenery of Rio-Antirio bridge. Thanks to Henrik Nielsen and his tester Knud for helping me solve the cause. The ferrys used to have platforms and you could land helis on their decks. apparently these are very close to the water surface and waves touch them making the ships move funny. the platforms are now gone so no stunts are now possible.

Instructions for building a replacement USB-DB15 Dongle for MS Sidewinder Joysticks

File Description:

My neighbor recently gave me a Microsoft SideWinder Precison Pro Joystick. Unfortuately, they had lost the DB15 to USB dongle (photo of dongle on the left)that connected the joystick to the USB port. This zip file contains a word document (.doc) which describes how you can build an equivalent dongle for just a few dollars. A parts list, photos of the completed assembly and a wiring diagram are included. Some elementary skill with a soldering iron is required.

Los Angeles KLAX for Simflyers scenery

File Description:
This should be the best RAFCAD for this scenery that you can find. I have spent many hours trying to make this perfect. All gates and taxi ways are labeled correctly. All four runways are in working order. There are two files, one base and one overlay. KLAX with the runway 25L for landing and 25R for take-off. 2LAX with runway 24L for take-off and 24R for landings. I think it will be difficult for someone to fill all the spots at this airport. There are a ton of cargo spots.

Flags and Signs

File Description:
This package provides a little collection of flags and signs for scenery designers for FSX. The models have been developed with GMAX. Along with the textures the package includes the mdl files, and the XML files for the individual placement of the objects into a scenery. The bgl files are included as well. The documentation (see pdf file in the ZIP) contains a step by step description on how to place the objects into the FSX scenery. A gauge for a proper positioning of the objects is part of the package. CREDIT goes to: Bob Familton for spending his time on review the package and the documentation. Gary Mills, Robert Finnegan, Kevin Bryan, for the helpful package chplus.zip, and Jim Robinson for the helpful package ch_pnl.zip .
