| London - Gatwick, United Kingdom (EGKK) |
|
File Description:
AFCADv2 (FS2004) for EGKK London Gatwick 2005. Default scenery, as per AIS document (April 05). New method discovered and developed by me called "Fantaxiway" which helps AI aircraft clear the runway quicker and helps reduce go-arounds. Closed taxiways used to tidy up taxiway lighting. Lighting now as per AIS document. 2 taxiways have been split to make taxiing to 26L more smoother and prevent AI stopping and eventually disappearing en-route. RWY 08R/26L for takeoff and landing. 08L/26R runway closed as in real life. Assigned gates, correct as of June 2005, with overflow parking also. Produced, July 2005. Asix9 © 2003-2005. The term and name "Fantaxiway" copyrighted to Asix9 © 2003-2005.

File Description:
When I uploaded the Europier last week I omitted to include the AFCAD that lines up aircraft to the gates a little better - my abject apologies for this oversight, I only wish I could promise that it won't happen again! :-)
If you are well-versed with AFCAD you've probably already done the deed, but if not, here is a version to add to whatever folder you keep your AFCADs in. The parking positions are all current.

This is my personal rendition of POSKY's 747-400 series in United's current "stealth" livery. I realize that others have painted this aircraft, however this project was in process and I wished to see it through to completion. I hope it will prove of use.
