This is a repaint of the Dino Cattaneo's S-3B "Viking". These textures represent a Viking of VS-38, "Red Griffins" as it appeared on the USS Ranger in June, 1989. On April 17, 2004, the squadron was officially disestablished at NAS North Island, CA as the Vikings were eliminated from USN inventory. The textures are those of an artist interpretation and resulting rendition. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need Dino Cattaneo's Lockheed S-3B Viking freeware package.

On December 9 2005, the squadron was officially disestablished as the Vikings were eliminated from USN inventory at NAS Jacksonville. Textures only for a US NAVY McDonnell Douglas F-4J Phantom II, number 154783af, of NAVY Fighter Squadron VF-41 Black Aces aboard USS F.D. Roosevelt, 1972. Textures created specifically for Pack I, "model", "Model 1" and "model 5", for which I have included config entries.
Model by Alphasim/Virtavia; repaint by Steve Bryant based on the Alphasim/Virtavia paintkits, and repaint textures by Gus Robatto, with permission.
