| FS2004-FS2002: Nick's Touchdown and Vortex FX |
|
File Description:
HOLD ON TO YOUR HAT!! When those big boys touch down they don’t just chirp -n-smoke the tires... that pillow of air under those wings has to go somewhere. With Nicks Touchdown and Vortex FX's you get to see it and if you’re close enough to the action, choke on it as well!! The provided touchdown and vortex FX's are designed for all weather conditions and usually enhance wet pavement landings. Three custom scaled FX files cover large scale military and civilian transports, Airbus, 777's, 747's, 737's, MD's, 727's along with large and small Lear jets. Users of Nicks Prop Dust can also use Nick's Touchdown with Vortex FX to enhance their LARGE prop aircraft on dry asphalt and concrete runways. Installation requires running the auto-installer and making a minor edit to the aircraft.cfg file. After a great flight wouldn’t it be nice to end it with the realistic WoooooooOOSH that Microsoft left out of Flight Simulator? Now you can be BLOWN AWAY with every touchdown! You can also add this FX to all your AI traffic as well.
ENJOY!

| Enhanced Shore waves for FSX and FS2004 |

File Description:
The default waves are too small, not random enough, they flicker like a tadpole tail, and move about 100 mph. These new ones are slower, more randon in shape and size, and move eventually into shore for a more realistic effect and not as cartoony.

| Doherty's Difficult and dangerous Approaches - Vol 1 |
|
File Description:
FS 2004 Doherty's Difficult and Dangerous
Approaches - Volume 1. I am constantly
amazed by the high number of simers that
restrict their flying activities to small
localized areas, never venturing much
further than their own backyards. I can't
help thinking that they miss out
on some truly great flying experiences by
confining themselves to such limited
parameters. If nothing else, Doherty's
Difficult and Dangerous Approaches will
get you out more! Whether you are simply a
local pilot flying within your own well-worn
neighbourhood, or a demanding adventurous
international aviator, there's something for
everyone in these volumes. For the new simer
I have included some very easy approaches,
and for the army of case-hardened veterans who
think they have seen and done it all - let me
tell you now - you haven't! I'll introduce you
to approaches that will leave you absolutely
flabbergasted - and may I add, begging for
more! Each volume contains (10) difficult and
dangerous approaches which are set up for
you – all you have to do is fly them! I have
also included a special ~ (STAR) ~ approach
in each volume - which is a gem of an approach
that will thrill and amaze you. If you've
always wanted to know where all the difficult
and dangerous approaches could be found in
MSFS 2004, but never new where to look, I've
discovered them all - and now I'm sharing
them with you. Check out Doherty's Difficult
and Dangerous Approaches - by Michael
Doherty - you won't be disappointed.

| Tips and Tricks - Issue Number 25 - Addenda |

File Description:
Tips and Tricks for FS2004 - Issue Number 25 - Addenda. This latest issue of Tips and Tricks is a compilation of various items which have crossed my desk since the "final" issue was released in November of 2006. Many new, and hopefully useful, ideas are presented with the goal of providing something of interest for those who are new to FS2004 as well as experienced users. One segment details the procedures I used to setup a second installation of FS2004 on the same hard drive. Additionally, there are two "from the e-mail bag" segments which answer questions of general interest plus a special set of Bonus files. An updated index for the entire series (compiled by John Burford) is also included. Please unzip to a temporary folder. Compiled in doc and pdf formats for your flying enjoyment by David "Opa" Marshall.
