Many will recognize the Samson twin rotor from the film "Avatar". Although fictional, this is a highly believable flying machine and Nemeth have created a model that you can fly in FSX. This is a fictitious repaint of the SA-2 by Nemeth Designs as the Canadian Armed Forces new CH-150. This SAR aircraft is depicted as belonging to 440 Transport Squadron based in Yellowknife NWT. Some are perched high in the PNG highlands while others are on the coastal flats, some are very short less than 400 metres. These airports will test the mettle of any keen bush pilot. Doors that open. Different 2D panels for VFR and IFR, and for 16x9 and 4x3 monitors. The PH-VKA is owned by Peter Kastelein and is based at Rotterdam Airport in the Netherlands.
