Fly!2 User Manuals Covers

File Description:
A simple Microsoft Word file that can be printed as two covers for the complete set of Fly!2 user manuals. The first cover is for simulator documentation and aircraft on-board systems. The second cover is for the individual default aircraft. I printed my covers in color and bound the remaining PDF documentation in two volumes. I think they look real nice and thought I'd share with others. Feel free to modify as you like. NOTE: Requires Microsoft Word. Covers are formatted for US Letter printing.

Douglas A-4C Skyhawk 'VA-172 Blue Bolts' USS Roosevelt 1966

File Description:
This is a repaint of RAZBAM's excellent A-4C. These textures represent an A-4C of VA-172, Blue Bolts, on board the USS F. D. Roosevelt, CVA-42, in 1966. In the real world this particular aircraft was flown on 12/2/1966 by LTJG Robert M. Hinckley on a flak suppression mission using Bullpup missles at a truck park near Hanoi. The target was destroyed with no loss of aircraft. THESE ARE TEXTURES ONLY! You need the RAZBAM "The Skyhawks Volume 1" payware package.

Westland Whirlwind XA870

File Description:
These are 2 repaints of the excellent Alphasim Sikorsky S-55 Whirlwind. Both repaints are of XA870. Firstly as it appeared while serving on board the Ice Patrol Ship HMS Protector, in 1955/6 and now, restored by the Yorkshire Helicopter Presevation Group and displayed at the South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum, Doncaster. The second repaint shows XA870 as it appeared at the end of its flying career in the late 1960's early 1970's. Purchase of the Alphasim Sikorsky S-55 is required.

East African Airways Douglas DC-3

File Description:
DC3 VP-KJU was called Sagana II and was used by the British Queen during her visit to Uganda in 1954. It was in the original Sagana (also a DC3) that the Queen flew from Nanyuki (Kenya) to Entebbe to board the Royal Argonaut in which she hurriedly flew back to London on the death of her father King George VI. Thus East African Airways became the first airline to carry a reigning British monarch. this is a repaint using the Maam DC3 Cargo unit.

Ship in Distress near Kodiak, Alaska

File Description:
This cargo vessel was created by Johan Kotze using Gmax. The vessel is simulating a ship in distress and has smoke coming out several places, suggesting a fire on board. The crew have launched one of the life rafts, floating to the stern of the vessel and have requested urgent assistance and require airlift to safety. The ship has a helipad at the stern and has lights. The ship is 150nm NE of Kodiak, Alaska at N58 23.05 W147 53.09 . FS2004 and FSX files included.

Auckland International Airport, New Zealand (NZAA) v2

File Description:
This file is an update of my previous version for the default airport (my previous version not required) a big thanks to Lee Swordy's latest version of AFCAD_2.1.1 which i used here, with 47 gates/parking/cargo parking, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (only when you are in TOWER view), i have tried to set up the airport as realistic as i can from an aerial photo i took from a warbirds DC3, taxiways/concrete areas realigned, and all taxiways/aprons now have improved lighting (fully tested with Ultimate Traffic but not required)

Cairo International Airport, Cairo, Egypt (HECA/CAI) Crosswind Runway

File Description:
After many request's to have a go at this (default) airport this is what i came up with this also activates the crosswind rwy, all three rwy's now used for takeoff/landings a helipad added with night lighting airport views are from the roof of the control tower (only when in tower view) fully tested with Ultimate Traffic but not required, the parking codes are probably not accurate but i'm sure someone out there will be able to correct this, a special mention must go to Jim Vile and Reggie Fields for their hard work in activating crosswind rwy's

Hilo International Airport, Hilo, Hawaii (PHTO) Crosswind Runways

File Description:
This file is for Bill Melichars beautiful airport scenery hilov3 and activates the crosswind rwy, this should also work with the default airport, only the heli start locations will not match, these will be inside the building that Bill removed for his Helipads, if you dont fly Helicopters then its not a problem, afcad2 users will be able to move them, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (only when in tower view) a big thanks to Jim Vile and Reggie Fields for their hard work in activating crosswind rwy's fully tested with Ultimate Traffic but not required

TBAI Queen Air Excalibur 2020-80model-fix

File Description:
This is a model fix for my TBAI Queen Air Excalibur 2020 (-80 model only). The propdisk back view was improperly textured, and appears black. This replacement model fixes that, by properly mapping texture to propdisk, to restore transparency.

File Description: This is an update for my Dh89a Dragon Rapide Autopilot (dh89a_ap.zip) which adds an avionics master switch to the autopilot panel as well as an optional panel.cfg mod that makes the aircraft load with the icons panel in view.
