Val-U-Prop has now acquired an FS98 DC-6 - and it's a beauty. Based on the original work of Tom Gibson and Harry Follas, the aircraft has terrific flight dynamics (by Harry Follas), that are stable and easy to fly. Aircraft will work in FS98 or FS2000 as well. This package includes the panel Dc4jcuv2.zip, and the two together comprise a combination that makes Val-U-Prop truly the airline where "No job is too small; No fee too large." Base pack for the "Convair CV-240 VBF reloaded" in CB-16 version, the famous American short haul
airliner from the fifties. This is a reloaded Gmax rendition based on the Calclassic Convair (by Greg Pepper and Tom Gibson), but it is no longer compatible with that model. Base for further CB-16 add-ons prepared by VBF. Includes visual model and textures for a Convair CV-240-1 of Western Airlines, registration N8404H, with ventral staircase. Panel and sound must be installed separately (see User Manual). Flight dynamics by FSAviator. By Virtual Birds Factory (Hans Hermann and Georg Hauzenberger)

Convair CV-240-0, N94200, cn 002, delivererd to American Airlines on December 29, 1948, named "Flagship San Diego", bought by Dundel Corparation on December 31, 1957, sold to Cruzeiro do Sul on May 12, 1958, registered PP-CET and named "Regulus", purchased by Francis Y Sogi in November 1967 and registered N21122, sold to Charlotte Aircraft Corporation in June 1969, withdrawn from use and broken up.

Convair C-131A (CV-240-53), cn 53-10, delivered
to U.S. Airforce in 1954, assigned to Military
Air Transport Service (MATS). Converted to HC-131A
and transferred to United States Coast Guard (USCG)
on April 30, 1976, reregistered 5790. Bought by
Hawkins & Powers Aviation Inc. in February 1986.
In August 1988 withdrawn from use, donated to the
Robins Air Force Base Museum and placed on display.
Only textures of 1965 livery and associated model
file included. Requires cv240VBFmilitary_basepack_010.ZIP.

In January 1967 bought by Fairchild-Hiller Corporation. In November 1968 bought by Houston Aviation Products, withdrawn from use and stored. In 1975 broken up at Houston, Texas.
