Limnos Ifestos Airport LGLM_2 Download

File Description:
DUE TO AVSIM'S 500MB LIMITATION YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD LGLM SCENERY IN TWO FILES. THE lglm Limnos airport_Installation folder_1 AND THE PRESENT lglm Limnos airport_Installation folder_2. AFTER YOU UNZIP THEM INTO A SINGLE INSTALLATION FOLDER OPEN THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Lemnos (or Limnos) is a Greek island, since ancient times, with a pure Greek population. Due to the old volcanic activity, it was considered as the island of Hephaestus, the god of Fire. According to mythology, Zeus in a dispute with Hera threw his son Hephaestus from Olympus to the land of Lemnos. Hephaestus set up his workshop there and taught the art of metallurgy to the inhabitants of the island. The lglm Limnos airport scenery was made over a period of 5 years and includes multiple moving parts, such as AI vehicles, moving people, night effects, air and sea traffic. Google earth was widely used for the 3D representation and the depiction of reality contains many fantastic additions to the airport and the surrounding area. An atmospheric scenery was created to provide a realistic flying experience in FSX. You can also find a video of scenery capabilities in youtube: https://youtu.be/y8q0dL5wb3Q

Aerosoft F-16C SW 91-0395 55th FS '2024 Viper Demo' Repaint Textures v2.0 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint for the Aerosoft F-16 depicting the 2024 Viper Demo aircraft 91-0395 from the 55th FS, Shaw AFB, in the "Haveglass 5" paint scheme. I've called this repaint "v2.0" because I've corrected and error I noticed recently. The tailband on the jet is supposed to be BLUE/white checkered, not BLACK/white as I painted it on the previous version(...oops!), so I fixed that. I also noticed that the missile rails on the "real" jet are grey, not Haveglass, and that the pylons and tanks are also grey. So for this version I painted the missile rails grey, BUT I painted the pylons and tanks in both Grey AND Haveglass, so you can choose which "color" appear on the jet (I put Haveglass Pylons w Grey tanks on to start for a "demo") PLUS, since the first version, I upgraded/repainted both the INERT and LIVE weapon textures so they look more realistic, so I included those with this jet! As a BONUS, I also created Conformal Fuel Tanks textures, so you can use these textures with that model, too!

Milviz F-4 Phantom Aerodynamic Performance Modification Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This package contains a "Performance Modification" for the Milviz F-4 Phantom. It's next to impossible to accurately replicate the "flying house" characteristics of the F-4 in FSX, so instead I decided to just make it "fun to fly"! I made some changes to the "aircraft.cfg" and the "f4e_11.air" files to add some aerodynamic stability along with increased aerobatic performance, and the result is a jet that's fun and easy to fly. You can still spin the jet, but you'll have to do it "on purpose" now. Max speed "Clean" at 40,000 feet is Mach 2.0, max sustained G is 7.5 @ 450kts "clean", 6.5g with a full A/A loadout, and around 5.0g with an A/G loadout. PLUS as a BONUS, I included my modifications to the F-4's "Sound" files, located in the "Sound Modification" file folder. Using the "Audacity" app, I was able to MUTE the ANNOYING ADF Morse beep (Horray)! I also lowered the volume of the stall warning beep, the flaps motor, and the AB/Mil throttle "clicks"...they're still audible, just not as LOUD as they were before.

F-111F Aardvark For X-Plane 6.40/6.51 Download

File Description:
F-111F Aardvark for X-Plane 6.40/6.51 - After a prolonged development period in which many, many problems had to be identified and fixed, the F-111 turned out to be one of the most effective all-weather interdiction aircraft in the world. Although highly critisized by some as being an unsafe and dangerous plane, the F-111 series of aircraft established the best safety record of any of the aircraft in the Century Series of fighters with only 77 aircraft being lost in a million flying hours (that's hours not miles). There was no other aircraft in service with the USAF which could carry out the F-111's mission of precise air strikes over such long ranges in all-weather conditions. Although the aircraft has left USAF service, it still serves with distinction with the Royal Australian Air Force and may very well continue there until 2020. The original concept for the F111 was for both a USAF and US Navy version. Weight problems led to cancellation of the Navy version in 1968. The F111 was the first swing wing fighter, the first with a side by side escape capsule for the operators and the first able to cruise at over mach 1 without after burning. It was also the first bomber with greater than mach 2.5 capability. The F version has a wingspan of 63.0 ft. spread, a length of 73.5 ft. and is powered by two 25,100 lb static thrust engines with afterburning. Gross takeoff weight is 100,000 lb., maximum ordinance 31,000 lb and internal fuel 5025 USgal. Range is greater than 2500 nm with internal fuel and service ceiling is above 60000 ft.

Dinfia I.A.35-II "Huanquero" Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
The IA-35 "El Justicialista del Aire" (renamed "Huanquero" in 1955) was the first design from the Dinfia Organisation of Argentina to enter production and the head of a family of succesful planes that later included the Ia-35 X "Pandora", the "Guarani I" and the turbopowered Ia-50 "Guarani".
A twin-engined all metal (except for fabric covered ailerons) low-wing cantilever monoplane with a high-mounted tailplane with two fins and rudders; and a retractable tricycle landing gear. Powered by two IA 19R "El Indio" radial engines of 750 HP each that allowed a maximum cruise speed of 370 km\h and a maximum range of 1250 KM with a full load of 2300 kg.

The major design was done by Paul Klages under the direct supervision of Prof. Kurt Tank, former Focke Wulf designer who also built the I.Ae 33 "Pulqui II" jet fighter in 1950. The first series prototype of the Ia-35 made its maiden flight the 21st September of 1953 flown by First Lt. Pilot Connan Doyle, and was followed by a planned production batch of 100 aircraft but in the end less than half of the aircraft were built when production ceased in the mid-1960s.
Most of the Ia-35 Type II were assigned to the "II Brigada Aerea" of Parana to the "II Grupo de Exploracion y Ataque" where remained in service until 1974, when the lasts "Huanqueros" were replaced with the newest Ia-58 "Pucara".

Original 3D modeling (external and internal), flight dynamics, and "A-316" textures by Victor Astiz; sound set by Gary Jones; additional textures and general modding by Damian Radice.

RAF Swanton Morley - Norfolk, England Download

File Description:
Swanton Morley was a new station planned under the RAF expansion scheme but not completed to the same standard before the start of the Second World War. It was part of No. 2 Group in Bomber Command until December 1944 when it was given over to 100 Group - the RAF unit responsible for countering German defences against the British strategic bombing - as they needed another airfield close to their HQ at Bylaugh Hall.

On 4 July 1942, American and British airmen took off from this station as part of the first combined bombing raid of World War II. No 226 Squadron had been tutoring the US 15 Bombardment Squadron. Both Winston Churchill and General Eisenhower were at RAF Swanton Morley for this mission, which saw six crews from 15th Bombardment Squadron fly a raid with six crews from the RAF, using Boston light bombers belonging to No. 226 Squadron RAF. The raid was made at low level against German airfields in the Netherlands. During World War II the station was home to the Bomber Support Development Unit (BSDU) of No. 100 Group RAF.

After World War II the station was home to No 1 Air Signaller's School and later to the Central Servicing Development Establishment (CSDE) and the Maintenance Analysis and Computing Establishment (MACE).

From June 1953 to 1995 the station was also used by 611 Volunteer Gliding School, when the station was listed for closure under Options for Change. The station held popular airshows during the 1980s. The station closed in 1995 and was converted to an Army base now known as Robertson Barracks. Source: Wikipedia.

FSX/P3D TWA 707-331Adv 1969 Download

Images related to this file:

File Description:
This is a repaint of the 707-300 in TWA 'Star Stream' colors. The payware 707-300 by Captain Sim is needed for this repaint. TWA was one of the two great U.S. intercontinental carriers of the jetliner golden era, the other being PanAm. They plied the world with their shiny 707s, DC-8s, and 747s, well before many other US carriers did so. TWA was also interesting, as it was run by the enigmatic Howard Hughes. On January 25,1959 TWA launched its first jet service on between New York and San Fransisco. The route was chosen by Howard Hughes himself, to compete with American Airlines new jet service between New York and Los Angeles. The plane, a 707-131, sported the new 'Star Stream' double globe livery, one of the most iconic liveries in civil aviation history. TWA carried this livery for almost 20 years, when it was phased out in the late 1970s. This repaint is of a TWA 707-331 Advanced, reg: N18701. It was one of the 127 which went into TWA service in the long history of the airline. It was delivered new in January 1966. Sadly, it was damaged beyond repair in Milan Italy on 22 December 1975, when it landed outside the runway, struck a transmissometer and a CAT II television camera. The landing gear and all 4 engines separated in the subsequent slide. The aircraft came to a rest, with the nose broken off behind the forward cabin door. There were no fatalities. Textures are 32bit DDS. This repaint was tested FSX-SE. It should work on FSX & P3D v1-3.

VOBL_P3Dv5 Download

File Description:
Kempegowda International Airport (IATA: BLR, ICAO: VOBL) is an international airport serving Bangalore, the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka, in the Southern part of India. Spread over 4,000 acres (1,600 ha), it is located about 30 kilometres (19 mi) north of the city near the suburb of Devanahalli. It is owned and operated by Bengaluru International Airport Limited (BIAL), a public–private consortium. The airport opened in May 2008 as an alternative to increased congestion at HAL Airport, the original primary commercial airport serving the city. It is named after Kempe Gowda I, the founder of Bangalore. Kempegowda International Airport became Karnataka's first fully solar powered airport developed by CleanMax Solar.[5][6] Kempegowda Airport is the third-busiest airport by passenger traffic in the country, behind the airports in Delhi and Mumbai, and is the 29th busiest airport in Asia. It handled around 33.30 million passengers in the calendar year 2018 with 658 aircraft movements a day. The cargo handled by the airport continues to increase steadily, with the airport handling about 386,849 tonnes (426,428 short tons) of cargo between April 2018 and March 2019.[7] The airport consists of two runways and a passenger terminal, which handles both domestic and international operations. The second runway, constructed by Larsen & Toubro, was commissioned on 6 December 2019.[8][9] A second terminal is in the early stages of construction. Also, there is a cargo village and three cargo terminals. The airport serves as a hub for AirAsia India, Alliance Air, and IndiGo and is a focus city for Air India and SpiceJet. Note: All terminal buildings credit goes to thomlinden. It's freeware scenery.
