Tupolev Tu-95 Bear (Part 3). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this cold warrior of military history, which still soldiers on as a formidable strategic bomber and reconnaissance aircraft. The mighty Bear, with around 500 built, evolved from the Tu-114 airliner, and is arguably the fastest (and loudest) turboprop aircraft in history. A simple no-frills turboprop design combined with a heavy payload and ridiculous airborne endurance (20+ hours); and the Bear has established itself as the iconic Soviet/Russian symbol of strategic force projection, easily the counterpart to the American B-52 Stratofortress. An original 9-LOD model brings this historic beast to the flightsim world. This package contains the late "M" series Bears, to include Tu-95MS-6 and Tu-95MS-16; with a total of 3 models and 34 repaints. Original aircraft model and textures by Michael Pearson, flight dynamics by Michael MacIntyre. Please read included documentation.

The mighty Bear-Foxtrot, with around 100 built, evolved from the Tu-95 Bear bomber, and is arguably the fastest (and loudest) turboprop aircraft in history. I am very proud to present this Project Airbus (pa321) Airbus A321-231 in the US Airways NC livery. This was the 2nd A321-231 acquired by US Airways and is 1 of 20 A321-231's in US Airways A321 fleet. It was delivered new to the airline in December of 2008 and bears registration N508AY. The A321 is the medium-haul workhorse for US Airways and flies into most major US airports serviced by US Airways including; KCLT, KPHX, KLAX, KSFO, KORD, KMCO, KSAN among others. The A321's service Caribbean destinations for US Airways as well. This is a detailed repaint with custom textures. The repainted textures in this package are 32-bit with no mipmaps for best clarity and quality. This is a complete install. The Project Airbus A321-231 model and air files are included. Uses default 737-400 panel and sounds. Please see Readme.txt for more details.

Still fresh from their days with the American Volunteer Group in China, whose P-40s were adorned
with shark's teeth, the founders of Flying Tigers perpetuated this theme on their recently purchased
C-47s. This Bill Larkins photo was taken at San Francisco in 1946. FTL operated approximately
a dozen or so before gradually acquiring the more capacious C-46s and later C-54s.
NC59699 (c/n 13061) was an ex C-47A-20-DK, USAAF serial 42-93178 civlianized in 1946.
When sold by Tigers it went to India as VT-CTZ.
This is my first ever repaint for FSX. It could have been nicer, but the paintkit is hell to work with, with overlapping parts of fuselage and severe warping, asymetrical overlapping and mirroring on the nose textures. Included are repaints of the VW van, interior headrests with Tiger Line logo and stewardess.

File Description: Take a break and enjoy Sunday afternoon in the park. This high resolution mesh demonstrates the amount of detail FS2002 is able to display. But you will not see any improvement in the park if you are still using the default value of TERRAIN_MAX_VERTEX_LEVEL=19 (in the [TERRAIN] section) of your fs2002.cfg file! This value is adequate for the default mesh, but will not display all the additional detail available in mesh constructed from 30m or better source data. I recommend a value of 21 for the most detail, but a value of 20 may be preferable if FPS is a serious problem. Hop in your favorite helicopter, depart from La Guardia (KLGA) airport, and head west toward the city. (If you are new to helicopters, set your Aircraft realism to Easy and turn off Crash Detection while getting started - and relax in this scenic park!)

UPDATE! Includes missing textures which resulted in some users experiencing CTD and freezes. A complete remapping of Mount Rainier National Park in Washington State. Based upon commercial topographic maps, the designed scenery includes, every hiking trail drawn in meticulous detail including every real life switchback; every lake and small alpine pond 20 feet in diameter and over, modified landclass of alpine, forest & rock; every perennial and many intermittent creeks, all steams and rivers (many braided), a complete glacier mapping of every glacier with custom textures and ice fields on the mountain, a complete mapping of all rock faces and rock, moraine rock deposits, glacier outwash area, mudflows, roads, swamp and marsh areas. Includes some effects. Designed to compliment UT USA and any LOD 9 or 10 mesh. Works well with FS Genesis LOD 10 mesh and Birds Eye View Textures. By Bryan Wallis and Lou Frost.

Fuerza Aerea Venezolana C-47A-5-DK FAV-1840,C/N 12386 builded by the Oklahoma City production plant for the USAAF as 42-92571.Ex RAF KG377,G-AJAV,N19D,YV-E-EPO and YV-T-RTC.FAV-1840 was the last operative C-47 of the FAV,retired in 2003,after his reactivation for display purposes in the 80s.He was also the only FAV C-47 to wear a operational camouflage.The first 20 C-47s were delivered to the FAV, Escuadrón de Transporte No.1, in 1947 together with the presidencial DC-4 and retired of service by 1971. The base textures for repainting are by Mark Beaumont, original textures are by Jan Visser.Repainted by Daniel Nole.In order to use these textures, you must already have the MAAM-SIM payware DC3 and the MAAM-SIM D-Day C-47 'Skytrain'and Dakota Mk III Expansion Pack installed in your FS2004 aircraft folder.

At 1805 hours GMT on April 2nd. 1945 an RAF Short Sunderland Mk.V took off from the waters of the flying boat base near Oban, in Scotland. With the war in Europe nearly over, men and materiel were being transferred to the Far East, where Japan continued to defend its home islands with great ferocity and determination. The ten-man crew of the Sunderland included young Harry Levy, the navigator. Harry, now a resident of Canberra, Australia, was a Sergeant in the RAAF attached to an RAF aircrew and was being transferred to Dar-es-Salaam to join 259 Squadron, RAF. Their trip was to take them some 6000 nautical miles, over a period of 20 days (with a lot of that being spent in Gibraltar whilst engine repairs were carried out) and with more than 48 hours spent aloft. They departed Britain in the springtime and arrived in east Africa in autumn.
This is the FS9 recreation of that journey.

| KOMO TV Channel 4 Seattle "Air4" Bell JetRanger |

File Description:
KOMO TV 4, the ABC affiliate in Seattle, Washington and consistently known as the best television station in America for 21 years running - and best newscast in America for 20 years in a row, operated this Bell JetRanger known as "Air4." The helicopter was an early Bell 206BIII, and bore the same rainbow-like paint scheme for nearly two decades. This paint scheme was also used on several of their ENG satellite news trucks - each one with the name "Newstar4." Unfortunately, this helicopter was retired in December of 1997 and replaced with a brand-new Bell 407 bearing an all-new black and blue metallic paint scheme featuring a gold "4" and green pinstripes. Air4 is piloted by veteran KOMO pilot Roger Fox, and this version of Air4 had no chin camera apparatus (there was always a photographer and reporter aboard incase of breaking news)It is not known where this helicopter is, nor what her N-Number was at the time. Requires Owen Hewitt's Bell JetRanger.

Low polygon version Lockheed Martin (General Dynamics) F-16C and F-16D by Henry Tomkiewicz. Features animated landing gear, flaps, air brakes, and LANTIRN navigation pod. Also features conditionally activated canopy and pilot(s) as well as a realistic afterburner effect along with customized lights. This package includes 20 different visual models ranging from 1975 to 3288 polygons (ACM). All models feature 10 levels of detail (LODs) and are designed for AI use. The F-16C has both standard and drag chute tails along with 7 different loadout options: Clean, Normal, Long Range, Air-to-Air, Mk.84, JDAM, and AGM-65. The F-16D has both standard and drag chute tails and 3 loadout options: Clean, Normal, and Long Range. Included textures kindy provided by Graham King. See readme file for more information.
