Chance-Vought F-8 Crusader (Part 2). I present a comprehensive AI traffic model package for this classic aircraft of modern military history.
This is an original 8-LOD model, with many animations and features thanks to a growing confidence in XML-coding and making FSDS work for me instead of the other way around.
Nicknamed "The Last Gunfighter", this aircraft was the last production aircraft for the US Navy and Marine Corps which used guns as primary armament, and was in service at the twilight of this age, as well as the dawn of the missile age. Like all combat-experience aircraft, it had a relatively short life during its operational use (only about twenty years or so as a fighter), but was used a little longer as a recce aircraft; and beyond that in export service to France and the Philippines. The Crusader was used extensively in combat operations in Vietnam, played a crucial role in the Cuban Missile Crisis, and gave the newer F-4 Phantoms a fair run for their money in terms of air combat capability during this time. It is interesting to note that the 'elderly' F-8 Crusader had a better kill overall ratio in air combat in Vietnam than its F-4 successor.
This is part two of this model series, covering the F-8D, F-8E, and F-8H base models; with a total of 22 model options and 54 individual squadron paints. I am fairly confident that if any operational squadron of the USN and USMC used this aircraft from the late 50s to the late 60s, it is covered here at some time frame. Subsequent releases will include the later USN/USMC models, as well as the French and Philippine exports. Extensive credits and instructions are in the documentation. | Zaragoza AB update - LEZG for XP10.5-11 |

UPDATED version of earlier (Feb. 2017) LEZG AB. All adjusted for use with orthographic and HD material. Extensive Read Me is in the package. However: I used many "Libraries" as defined in the Read Me file to get the best scenery with optimized scaling of objects. Added visual beacons about 20 nm E and W from runways to make it easier to navigate this "rare" airport. Zaragoza city is improved and more "real". I have done all I could to keep frame-rates low (on my NV960: locked to screen refresh always between 50-60 fps) and temperatures low. See the images as well to orient yourself. LEZG comprises 5 platforms and now is expanded with a new engine test plate and a new GA platform. It is a huge airbase with civil part. I am still looking for a good F-18 static model, to replace the F-4's I had to use now.

For FSX users make sure you have UNCHECKED "Aircraft casts shadows on the ground" under the Aircraft - Exterior Settings in FSX to make any FS9-based model visible during the day!
Texture quality; FSX Native: DDS DXT5 with alpha. FS9 Native: BMP DXT3 with alpha.
FSX Light Fix included in the DDS night texture.
Custom Light Map. Custom Shadows, Highs, Weathering as usual...
Included repaint is for the following model; AI Beechcraft 1900D from HTAI.
Model is available on AVSIM, FlightSim.com or on the author/developers site.
You need the basekit for this to work!!
Do make sure you copy the texture folder(s) in the respective folder.

Boeing B-52 Stratofortress (Service Pack 2). This file corrects a significant XML issue with my JMAI B-52 model sets included in parts 9, 10, 11, and 12. I had re-arranged some of my XML code files and accidentally came up with a file that was missing some XML command lines for some of the animations for the aforementioned packages. There is also a texture update for the part 12 package. To sweeten the pain of this update (on my part, lol), I have thrown in some additional models, to include bonus loadouts and a couple of new model variants based upon this aircraft. Aircraft model by Jake Burrus and Mike Pearson, master textures and repaints by Mike Pearson, flight dynamics by Mike MacIntyre. Please read the documentation contained in the file.

FS2004 Pan American Airways Boeing 747-400, in Pan Am's Billboard livery as it was on Pan Am aircraft before closing its doors in 1991. Registration N744PA and title "Clipper Ocean Spray". It was the first and only aircraft under the "Clipper Ocean Spray" title, and N744PA registration. It was bestowed, originally on a Boeing 747-100 in 1970.
