Itapemirim 1998 AI Package

File Description:
Itapemirim Cargo flew brightly painted 727s across Brazil and up to Mexico from 1991-2000. But from 1997 to 1998, they operated a passenger division with Cessna 208 Caravans based in SBRJ. By the end of 1998, TAM had taken interest in this operation and the flights were merged into TAM Express. PLUNA 1998 AI Package

File Description:
PLUNA of Uruguay was owned by VARIG, and aircraft were often swapped back and forth or operated in full VARIG colors as needed. By 1998, the 707 had recently left the fleet in favor of a DC-10-30 leased from VARIG and used for multi-stop flights to Madrid. There were 3 variations of the 737; standard, VARIG hybrid, and a special livery. Raphael Rodrigues has painted all 3 and I will be uploading them to Avsim this week. Note that some of the aircraft are scheduled for long ground times in Brazil, likely as maintenance was done there. Textures by Raphael Rodrigues included for the FAIB 737-200. Also note that sources say the DC-10-30 left the fleet in 1998, which would suggest a VARIG DC-10-30 covered these flights. Transbrasil 1998 AI Package

File Description:
In 1998, Transbrasil was the 3rd largest airline in Brazil, but nearing the end of it's life, ceasing operations in 2001. Transbrasil had a decent number of 767s in 1998 flying both around Brazil and to Europe and North America, while 737-300s and 737-400s served the domestic market. Planes had the wings and titles painted in different vivid colors making for good variety, and there was a Futura hybrid 737-400 as well as a new 1998 livery applied to some 737s. Puerto Rico AI Package

File Description:
This archive contains repaints and fictional flightplans for a variety of aircraft that operate in Puerto Rico. There are textures for Corporate Air Embraer 120s (5), the Air Flamenco Fleet of Islanders, MN Aviation Cessna C208Bs, Vieques Air Link Islanders, Linear Air C208Bs, CapCana C208Bs, the blue Roblex Islander "El Bebe", some Air Tahoma Convairs and a USDOJ SAAB2000 that operates repatriation flights and prisoner transport. There's also the CIA ATR42 that operates flights around the Caribbean and into Guantanamo Bay. Some seasonal aircraft are also here (operating to St Barths in the high season), these have a variety of real-world private registrations and there's the Islander N555DM too. There is alsoa PR Government (natural Resources) C208B. There are also afcads for the airports in PR, some more accurate than others. Many of these airplanes operate out of Aguadilla or Isla Grande (TJIG). The flightplans also reference some aircraft available elsewhere on Avsim (other Vieques paints for example, and the Roblex SD360). Some flightplans are also separated out by airline if you want to install thems separately using the MRAI installer (Corporate Air, Vieques and Air Flamenco).

KLM 1998 AI Package

File Description:
By 1998, the KLM/Northwest alliance was in full swing, and KLM was serving MSP, DTW, and even MEM daily with it's own metal while Northwest took over from KLM from BOS, IAD, and some other cities. KLM had a vast route network spanning the globe, serving much of Africa and the Middle East with many "tag on" routes onward from Amsterdam. By 1998, KLM was flying the MD-11, 747-200SUD(stretched upper deck), 747-200SUD Combi, 747-300 Combi, 747-400, 747-400 Combi, 767-300ER, 737-300, 737-400, and 6 mainline Fokker 100s which were short lived before going to KLM UK in late 1998 then on to CityHopper. Unfortunately, in the OAG, KLM only specified if a 747 was a combi or not(as in 747=744/742 while 74M can be a combi version of the 742,743, or 744) and did not differentiate between 737-300s and 737-400s. I did my best using what data I had to make the routes realistic, but the aircraft numbers at least are correct except for some extra 767s and 737s that you may remove if you wish. I also had issues making sure the TPE flights were all operated by "KLM Asia" 747s, so I ended up assigning 1 extra 747(I have 5, in real life there were 4) the Asia livery to ensure that you do not see a standard KLM 747 at TPE as they did not visit in real life. You may switch this to a normal 747 if you choose. Repaints by Raphael Rodrigues for the AIA Fokker 100 and FAIB 737-300, 737-400, 767-300, 747-200SUD, 747-300, and 747-400 along with flightplans by Chasen Richardson are included. Note that the 747-200SUD uses the 747-300 model. As a Bonus, the KLM Cargo 747-200SUD is also included.Part of the 1998 Flight Simulator Project.
